The French kings of technical death metal have been kicking in heads since their arise in 2015 and have released their fifth album in 2022. When you think of death metal filled with flying tempos, technicalities and brutality to the max, Exocrine is your best friend! Exocrine comment on the signing: "We can’t say how proud we are and what an honour it is to join Season Of Mist! They have supported so many iconic bands that are part of our influences in many different styles. SoM is the perfect platform for our music, and we can’t wait to work with them and start the composition of our next album! We will stay true to ourselves while innovating and SoM totally puts us in confidence for that and for the future!" With the release of the the Bordeaux-based group Exocrine's first album 'Unreal Existence' in 2015, the band found their way into the world of technical death metal. The release of 'The Hybrid Suns' in 2022 is their career-defining fifth record, a concept album studying the voyage between life and death, and showcases a jaw-dropping level of musicianship. Continuing to push the boundaries of extremity and precision playing, Exocrine are the bridge between the ferocity of Archspire and Cryptopsy, and the potent progressive leanings of Obscura and Gorod. The band comments: "'The Hybrid Suns' is the first titular offering, introducing a new concept with a complex narrative frame to set the tone for the forthcoming album. As usual we have paid particular attention on the technical aspects and the speed, however this time we've pushed harder on the epic side of things to create a more grandiose sound!" Line-up

The track extends an important proclamation against bullying through the eyes and experiences of frontman Lewis de Jong. Lewis de Jong says about "Down The Rabbit Hole": "This was an absolute blast to film! 'Down The Rabbit Hole' represents the growth I've experienced throughout my life and putting to bed demons from the past. The video captures the meaning well - the broken objects representing said demons. It’s the rough times in life that make you who you are, as long as you rise above it." French post metallers Cancel the Apocalypse release second single from their upcoming second album26/5/2022 French post metal band Cancel The Apocalypse releases their second album "Terminus Stairway" in June 10th 2022. Now they have released second single "Where is Soledad?" from the upcoming album. Band backgrounds the new single: "'Where is Soledad?' is a questioning about loneliness and loss of bearings in industrialized societies. Soledad (whose nationality we don't really know) personifies this lonely being in search of meaning who seeks to escape from her mental shackles. Music is the meeting of several classical and metal influences. The classical guitar's sweetness, the cello's deep tone, the melodious and sometimes flayed voice and the ever looming storm of the drums are all mixed together. The result is a surprising equilibrium that does not leave you indifferent. We have fun listening to the baroque themes mixed with contemporary riffs. Everything here underlines the emotions of Soledad and her inner world."
Cancel The Apocalypse is a bridge between cultures and ages. It started simply: Audrey and Arnaud, graduates of Bordeaux conservatoire and baroque specialists, imagine a new hybrid style, blending today’ styles. They are under the charm of the singer of My Own Private Alaska who is performing in Nimes arenas as opening act for Metallica. Matthieu will be the singer of the band. And Karol of Gorod, another well known artist of the French metal scene, will join him at the drums. The press, specialized and main stream, takes immediate notice of this new vibe, with Telerama awarding them fff. Reviews acclaiming the first opus keep coming, with the tour starting in Frame, then Germany and ending in a blaze of glory with the Fusion Festival. The warm welcome they received allows the quartet to let its ambition and emotions roam free. Amidst the standardized engineered harmonies of the self congratulating music industry, Cancel the Apocalypse emerges as a sparkling oasis, soothing yet disturbing. The result is both avant-garde and unifying. Even more melodious and deep, "terminus stairway" continues the quest initiated by its predecessor "our own democracy". Audrey’s cello has never been so rich and deep, where Arnaud’s melodies (guitar and piano) transcend baroque and blend into the whole classical repertoire. The voice becomes intimately true, deep and self assured, sensitive yet raw, until it reaches its saturated climax, supported by Karol's rich and elegant style. His international experience boosts the combo thanks to his guts strike and his intent. This new world, imagined by the quartet, is driven by new human, social and political codes, in the image of its members. A memoir on anarchy in the XX's century music, activism with Sea Shepherd, study of the vision of French intellectuals on Malcolm X and Martin Luther King, commitment to the prevention of suicide among young people. Values are not an empty word at Cancel The Apocalypse. Their music is the reflect of this positive reflection momentum and humanist action that they have been able to create among themselves, for their loved ones, their children, which they now wish to transmit to the world. “Resilience as the highest gii that a man can have”. Following the release of their highly anticipated studio album Requiem via Loma Vista Recordings in February, Korn shares a new video for the next single "Worst Is on Its Way". The Craig Bernard and Culley Bunker-directed visual shows the band's high energy performance of the song in greyscale as individual members of the band are decomposed into animated particles with a series of visual effects. The 9-track album features the hit single "Start the Healing," which peaked at #1 on the Active Rock chart, in addition to the previously released tracks "Forgotten," which Rolling Stone described as "explosive" and "Lost In The Grandeur," which dropped as a final taste of Requiem just a few days before the record's release. Recently described by GQ as "bold and iconoclastic" and released to high acclaim including recent features on the covers of Revolver and King Kong magazines, Requiem is produced by Korn and Chris Collier. Energized by a new creative process free of time constraints, the band was able to do things with Requiem that the past two decades haven't always afforded them, such as taking additional time to experiment together or diligently recording to analogue tape - processes which unearthed newfound sonic dimension and texture in their music. Additionally, Korn is slated to take their live show across a worldwide run of headline festival and amphitheater tour dates kicking off this summer and running into the fall. The extensive tour begins with a headline performance at Daytona Beach's Welcome To Rockville festival before kicking off EU/UK dates in Amsterdam on May 25th. The tour will see stops in Berlin, London, Stockholm, Budapest and more before returning stateside for dates in Denver, Charlotte, Dallas, Boise and others. Connect with Korn: Instagram | Twitter | Facebook | Website French Roman extreme metal legionaries Deos sign with Wormholedeath & announce "Furor Belli" album9/4/2022 French extreme metal Legionaries Deos have signed with Wormholedeath a worldwide deal for their album "Furor Belli", which is due for release on May 27th, 2022. Band Statement : "Ave populus, we have some good news to share with you! We have signed with Wormholedeath records for our upcoming 3rd album "Furor Belli" which will be released this spring! Stay tuned for more information and stay Roman." Speaking of the upcoming release, the band explain: "Ave populus, Furor Belli is a more raw and more direct album than the 2 previous ones. This is mainly due to the new line-up. Indeed François (guitar) and Harsh (keyboards) left the band in 2020. Cedric joined the band as a guitarist and we decided not to have keyboards anymore. So the music became more raw, more brutal and more direct. But it remains at the same time melodic. Cedric has fully contributed to the writing of the album since his arrival and his style has been perfectly integrated. His great rhythmic ability has elevated the martial nature of the music! This album is a good mix of Black, Death and Thrash in an old school style. The music and lyrics on this album reflect the trials and tribulations of the last 2 years due to the pandemic and the line-up change. Rage, frustration, anger but also hope and friendship have forged Furor Belli. And for the 1st time we have 2 guests on 2 different songs which gives even more diversity to our music. As always with Deos, the themes are based on the history of Rome, but these same themes are still relevant today. They are the reflection of the life of the band and the current world context. The lyrics are more thoughtful and more personal even if they can seem more brutal, more cruel and more warlike than those of the 2 other albums. Now you just have to joins us and discover it ." Playing "Roman Extreme Metal" style, the band Deos was formed in May 2014 by Fabio Battistella, Jack Graved and Loïc Depauwe. They wish to combine the sounds of Black and Death Metal with their passion for ancient Rome, which through the lyrics, graphics and stage play. After some shows in Annecy, Chambéry, Saint-Etienne or Geneva, their first album, Ghosts of the Empire, was released in December 2015 and conquered the Rhône-Alpes public with a fast, heavy and melodic style. In September 2016, with a new keyboardist, Deos starts the recording of its second album whose artwork is entrusted to Brice Cumin and mastering to J.-F. Dagenais at JFD Studio (Kataklysm, Ex Deo). The following year, the band signed to Buil2kill Records and the second album In Nomine Romae was released in October 2017. From 11 to 15 October of the same year the band performs with the Italians of ADE during the "Rising Across the Alps tour ", followed by the " Bellum In Helvetia tour " as well as for several dates in France and in Switzerland during the year 2018. At the beginning of 2019, Deos plays with Scuorn and Kyterion during the "Parthenope European tour". The band also participates in the first album of the Greek-Roman singer Ellenika by writing the track The Goddess and the Warrior. At the end of the year, they record an acoustic EP offering a selection of their first two albums. During the year 2020 Harsh (keyboards) and François (guitar) left the band. Cedric "Cedd" Boehm was hired as the 2nd guitarist. The year 2021 is dedicated to the composition and recording of the 3rd album Furor Belli. The mastering is once again entrusted to J-F Dagenais at JFD Studio, and the artwork to Brice Cumin. The band changes label and signs with WormHoleDeath.
