There are many brutal death metal bands around and it's hard to find ones that have their own sound or are attempting to do their own thing. After a point it does get quite repetitive if not redundant and there's little that stays with you long after the onslaught is over. Cutterred Flesh here however are unlike any of those bands. Their approach is not only markedly different but refreshing. The songs often start deceptively and you're wondering how is this brutal death metal but then the music kicks in and you know it's all over. It's time to call the closest funeral home. Two songs are streaming on Bandcamp and our YouTube channel and even they may not be enough to give you a complete idea of the music on this outstanding album.
Defying all expectations, Czech brutal death metal band Cutterred Flesh give birth to an album that can be regarded as an anomaly in the style, an aberration for a band sounding this heavy and brutal. Their constant variations, shocking mood changes, and tempo fluctuations belie the impossibly wide girth and ponderous gait of this band. And yet, they’re nimble and inventive, deceptively fast and catchy, emotive and thoughtful, and will invariably pound your skull into the ground and mercilessly at that. The strange juxtaposition of the slower, plaintive tunes with the bone-shattering blasting parts is as fascinating as it is lethal - it will catch you off guard and won’t play nice.
It’s akin to a deranged psychopath killer showing overwhelming tendencies of remorse for his victims, but then killing them all anyway. It just has to be done. Cutterred Flesh aren’t fucking around; they mean business but the way they do it is revolutionary and extremely effective. This album is loaded with all the death metal riffs you need, all the diversity to not only set the songs apart but also keep things interesting, and that warm, comforting, bludgeoning heaviness that will put you to sleep, perhaps permanently. And you won’t see it coming. This is as good as a brutal death metal album can get being progressive without betraying its core sound and values.

The band have shared a few words with us to give you an idea of what to expect when you head to the Gore House channel...
"Our album is a symbiosis of several subgenres of brutal death metal! You will hear insane blastbeats, atmosphere, slamming riffs and technical riffs inherent in technical death metal, and of course ultra brutal guttural with old school growling. Our members love all death metal, from Ulcerate and Gorguts to Last Day Of Humanity, which is why on the album we tried to come to a common denominator through the theme of an ancient and undersoil swarm of insects that woke up in order to devour humanity and revive their population! Our goal is to get the listener to move to the beat of our slam grooves and just enjoy full quality brutality!"
So now you know what awaits, it's time to expose yourself to 'Posthumous Grief'!
The First Shining Of New Genus will be unleashed on February 19th 2021 and pre-orders are live now!

Mass Murder was founded in August 2013 by Francesco Corcio (ex-guitarist of Necrotorture), with the idea to make a new style of Brutal Death Metal utilizing themes and a high quality of sound. With the line-up complete and tracks recorded, the first album Aracnofenik was released in July 2015 which made the band officially active and ready to do gigs promoting the first album. Aracnofenik is an 8 track album whose concept is centred on the human phobia for insects but narrated and seen from the insects point of view. The first release was sold out after a few months of the publishing.
During a static period due to band members leaving to pursue other commitments in life, Francesco didn’t waste time and composed new tracks for a new album, and managed to reform the band through a careful search to come back even more energized and motivated than before, with a desire for growth and aiming for the top. The first member who joined in the band this time was Alessandro Sarni (Viperium) on drums and some months later, with her 5 strings basses, Aurora Corcio joined the project, to complete the backing the wall of sound. The last member who joined in the band was the growling and snarling Aldo Gorgoglione and his presence finalized the official new line up and the return of Mass Murder.
The group is currently finishing their latest opus Extreme Extinction which is set for release via Sliptrick Records in 2020.
