Requiem is Lamori's 3rd single taken from the upcoming album Neon Blood Fire, Requiem is a death hymn of epic proportions. Its majestic foundation is very much inspired by Tibetan Buddhist chants. Influenced by the poem A Carcass by Charles Baudelaire, singer Matias J. came up with the lyrics one cold winter night, after having witnessed the death of a swan on the frozen sea. It will take the listener on a journey both mesmerizing and macabre, with a very progressive approach to its musical structure. The song is the third single to be released from the new upcoming album. Lamori has been developing their own take on the goth rock genre for over 10 years now. Combining gothic rock and metal with electronics and dark wave to produce their own neon-lit flavor. Founded in 2009 on the Aland Islands of Finland, the constellation has stayed unchanged – however, their sound is ever-evolving. Neon Blood Fire, the band's fourth album to be released by Wormholedeath, will refine the soundscapes heard on the 2020 released Neo Noir, but also introduce completely new elements to the mix. This album will have some of the heaviest Lamori songs ever heard! BAND LINEUP Matias Juselius, vocals Marcus Pellas, guitar Mikael Westerlund, bass Jens Wickholm, keys Emanuel Sanchez, drums www.lamorimusic.com

Åland Islands metallers LAMORI are proud to announce that "Neo Noir" will be out on 31/01/2020 via Wormholedeath / Aural. Band statement:- "Neo Noir - The New Black. Finnish goth-masters LAMORI are back. The reservoirs of darkness brings you their take on classic gothic metal mixed with dark wave, modern rock and everything in between. Bigger choruses, stronger melodies and bittersweet darkness all wrapped in a doomy package. The band worked close with both Mazzeo and Belotti all the way from pre-production to the final release. This time around we also put more time and effort on each instrument, especially the vocals. We think this album is a beautiful mix of both old and new LAMORI." From Reservoirs of Darkness and Neon Lit Nightmares rises Finnish five-piece LAMORI. Their sound is defined by uniting Gothic Metal with Dark Wave, Modern Rock and everything in between. Lyrics inspired by cult horror movie maestros and old romanticism furthermore finalize their macabre elegance. The band roots back to 2006. Singer Matias Juselius and guitarist Marcus Pellas had ideas about starting a gothic rock band in their home town of Mariehamn, on The Åland Islands. Jens Wickholm soon joined the duo, followed by Mikael Westerlund on bass. An acoustic live performance was held under the name L'Amori Acoustica. After a fruitless search for a drummer the band was put on ice for nearly two years. The group got together and started rehearsing again in late 2008, still searching for a drummer. Emanuel Sanchez stepped in and joined the group in early 2009. The band was now officially formed. Together they did their first live performance some months later. The constellation has remained the same until this day. Under the name L’Amori (later to be changed to LAMORI), the band recorded their first four track Demo EP in 2011, titled The Reservoirs of Darkness. Their first full-length album Deadly Desires was self-released some years later in 2013. A year after the release of Deadly Desires the band penned a record deal with Italian label Wormholedeath. Their first major album To Die Once Again was released through the label in 2016. It was at this time the band changed the name from L'Amori to the more straightforward LAMORI. The following years the band toured in Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania and also started working on a new album. The recordings of Neo Noir began in the summer 2018 at Mathlab Studios in Italy, with producers Carlo Belotti and Jonathan Mazzeo. Of the three singles released prior to the album, An Angel by Your Side reached the most praise, hitting 380.000 views on YouTube in only one month. https://www.facebook.com/lamorimusic Ålandic Gothic Metallers Lamori unveil new single & official video ”An Angel By Your Side”14/9/2019 Lamori are proud to present their new single and official video ”An Angel By Your Side”. Apart from a great performance by the band, it also features acting by Sabina Melander. Her presence adds a lot of emotion to this video. All this is filmed by our friend Therese Andersson, that we have worked with many times before on previous projects. The story of the video follows the theme of the lyrics in the song, but also leaves room for interpretation by the viewer." https://www.facebook.com/lamorimusic Finnish metallers Lamori are proud to present their new single and official lyric video "Heaven Ain't For Us". Statement about single: "We chose Born to Lose as the first single because we wanted to skip all the small talk and just get straight down to business. And believe us, we have spared no effort here. This song is an “all guns blazing” first introduction to our upcoming album Neo Noir. So be prepared! This punch in the gut will leave you begging for more." So we thought it was time to add some colour. As you can all see in the video, we’re not for half measures. The core idea about the video is that we can all be our own worst enemies. The game of chess could be a metaphor for life. We are our only true opponent. So we have to choose. Do I want to be the me that is on the winning side or the losing side of the table? Sometimes it is hard to tell who is who though. And when we go and do stupid things, then it all becomes even harder. We always want more. We are never satisfied. We are born to lose." From reservoirs of darkness and neon lit nightmares rises Finnish five-piece LAMORI. Uniting gothic metal with dark wave, modern rock and everything in between, is what defines the sound of LAMORI. Statement from the band: "The theme of classic horror movies is something that is in the genes of Lamori. In this video we wanted to visualize some of the horror aspects in the songs lyrics. But we did not want to do a short horror movie based on the lyrics. Our idea was instead to create this visual enhancer of the whole ghastly atmosphere found in the song." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_i04LFv11KE&feature=youtu.be Video credits Shot by: Carolina Juselius Edited by: Mikael Westerlund Produced by: LAMORI Thanks to: City of Mariehamn & Erik Raitanen Blending the lines between gothic metal and modern rock, Finnish five piece Lamori likes to stir things up. "To Die Once Again" is the title track taken from their latest album released early this year via Wormholedeath worldwide. The band stated:- "We always thought that the title track of our latest album deserved a music video. It is with great excitement that we now finally get to release it. We wanted a very pure and innocent look for the video, but like the song, the ending comes with a bittersweet surprise." Watch it here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YXH-Hot5ypA https://www.vevo.com/watch/lamori/to-die-once-again/QMBZ91717284 Video credits Shot by: Carolina Juselius Edited by: Mikael Westerlund Produced by: Lamori "'To Die Once Again' offers a darker overtone with the lyrics primarily covering topics like death, sadness, depression and Gothic aesthetics. Musically sound, 'To Die Once Again' is mainly a Hard Rock album but borrows elements from Alternative Metal and Gothic Metal; with subtle pinches of Doom Metal. This is more than just music, this album paints a picture of how the darker side of life and love becomes neglected, the harsh reality, the wicked truth and it goes without saying, 'To Die Once Again' is to suggest a rebirth gone wrong."
