In 2016 Scarlet Aura has released their first album, the album that got them to the European stage and brought worldwide fans attention. This year, the band celebrates the 5th anniversary of Falling Sky in no other way than with a re-recording, re-mix and remastering of this amazing album. As the original was produced by the well-known RoyZ, the anniversary edition is produced by the one who also wrote the songs - Mihai “Myke D” Danciulescu, producer & guitarist of the band. This special treat was recorded at the Silver City Studio by the actual Scarlet Aura members - Aura Danciulescu, Mihai Danciulescu, Rares Rene Nistor and Sorin Ristea.
To mark this 5th year of amazing ups for the band, Falling Sky will be available for the fans, digitally, on 16th of April, but the fans wouldn’t need to wait too long, because this month, on January 22nd, the first Single will be out also with a video! Scarlet Aura fans or “the Scarlets” as they call themselves know already this masterpiece because the band ends their every show with it since the initial release and that is "Colour Blind". A powerful song about betrayal, deceit and the courage to step forward immediately gets into the listeners blood and heart, making it unforgettable. Scarlet Aura comes with this new audio version of The Falling Sky album in between of other two releases and those are the Stormbreaker from 2020 and their 3rd and last album from "The Book Of Scarlet" trilogy that is coming up next this Autumn. There’s only true metal delivered so be ready for nothing less!
“Initially I worked on the mix and master for the Falling Sky album with some of my friends, good producers from the music industry but it never got the idea I had to the point where I wanted it to be and I really believe that now it is getting there and mostly this is why I wanted to mark this 5th anniversary with a new production which also includes our actual band members. To our fans, we send all the love and this digital release that we made especially for them, because we know how much they appreciate this album and that our dream adventure started with it. Thank you all for the support, see you in Autumn on tour“.

Italian progressive / power metal band Souls Of Diotima will release their fourth studio album, titled “Janas”, on January 29th 2021 via Diotima Records / Rockshots Records.
The quartet are proud to unleash their lyric video for the title track ‘Janas’.
Commenting on the new single the founder member, lyricist and drummer Giorgio Pinna says:
“Along with ‘The Black Mask’, this song best represents the essence of the entire album. It tells the story of the Janas, fictional fairy creatures found around our island, who are depicted on the album cover. They lived inside small caves carved into the rock and only came out on full moon nights. They are portrayed as small, winged fairies, with a beautiful, delicate appearance.
They are also described by Grazia Deledda, a Sardinian writer and Nobel prize winner in literature, as ‘largely evil little creatures’, because despite their deceptive appearance, they were not angelic in the slightest. They were enchantresses who bewitched with their beauty, with the power to decide the fate of human beings, often choosing an unfortunate destiny. According to many stories, the Janas kidnapped humans, especially males, to suck their blood. They also stole from their victims and kept their treasures hidden inside their caves”.
“Janas” was recorded, mixed and mastered by Oscar Nilsson at Crehate Studios in Mölndal (Sweden).
The album “Janas” is a concept, the second chapter of a journey that began with the previous album, “The Sorceress Reveals - Atlantis”. “Janas” tells the stories and legends of band’s land, Sardinia. Their island is full of wonderful mythological tales and characters, of esoteric stories that are often macabre, but which portray a truly fascinating historical and cultural journey.
Giorgio Pinna admits that:
“We have a shared interest in the history and culture of the peoples of the sea, of the Mediterranean, and we are one of them. Much of Western history is rooted in the tales of the peoples of the sea, skilled conquerors who crossed the seas to conquer new lands or to defend their own. But there is more. Within Sardinia there are places that often remain undiscovered. Far from the more accessible touristic locations, these places are steeped in stories both true and fictitious, which we were often told during our childhood, and which probably formed the basis of our personality and the way we see the world. In brief, ‘Janas’ talks about these stories, about us, and about the Earth we have been walking on since we were born."
Souls Of Diotima is a band with a unique style, featuring recognizable elements of traditional, progressive and symphonic metal, as well as unconventional elements, woven together musically in a powerfully expressive new way. Their style recalls Mediterranean atmospheres and traditions, and you can call it "Mediterranean Metal”.

Symphonic power metal prodigy Aeternitas are proud to release the astonishing official video to "Fountain Of Youth", taken from their upcoming album "Haunted Minds" due for release on 20 11 2020 worldwide.
"Fountain Of Youth" was the first song we wrote for our new album "Haunted Minds". It already contained the elements of the entire album: a strong and catchy chorus; powerful riffing along with mighty orchestral parts and the varied alternate voices of Alex and Julia. We were very excited to bringing it to live in our music video and looking forward for the feedback of our fans..."

"Haunted Minds" is the band's 6th album, the most powerful Aeternitas album yet, and with Henning Basse (Ex-Metalium, Ex-Firewind) and Glen Drover (Ex-Megadeth, Ex-King Diamond) they are honoured to have these guest musicians involved.

In August, breakout Canadian melodic metal quartet Unleash The Archers dropped one of the most highly-acclaimed albums of 2020, Abyss, sparking serious buzz in the metal and rock communities, and beyond. Deservingly, the conceptual benchmark scored banner praise from critics and fans alike, with Stereogum dubbing the opus "a ripper", and Bandcamp enforcing it as "a mandatory listen". Upon release, Abyss charted worldwide, debuting at the #1 spot on the US Current Hard Music and Top New Artist Album charts, #4 and #8 on the US and Canadian Billboard Top 200 Hard Rock charts as well as on #21 in the German album charts.
Today, the band is following up on the album's successes by throwing fans a hefty bonus in the form of a new video for the post-drop fan favourite "Legacy" – one of Abyss' standout anthems. Searing in with breakneck blastbeats, cosmic guitar work and frontwoman Brittney Slayes' impeccable vocal delivery, the pop-tinged anthem single-handedly proves the band's position as one of this generation's premier heavy acts, bar none. The new video provides an introspective live-action backdrop to the track's conceptual lyrics.
Frontwoman Brittney Slayes explains:
"This song means a lot to us as a band, it's pretty different from everything that we've done before and really set the tone for the sonic exploration that is Abyss. When Andrew first brought the intro riff to us we immediately loved it, but we were a little hesitant as we felt our fans might not understand why we were choosing to include this style of track on the album. The hesitation was momentary though, as we all very quickly decided it was too cool not to continue writing, and luckily it seems like our fans have fallen in love with it as well. It's quite theatrical, and yet somehow very simplistic as well. "

Slayes adds about the video:
"When it came time to choose the next song for a music video, "Legacy" was the resounding winner, but we wanted to do something a bit more than the traditional lyric video. The band all agreed that this is the kind of track that you put on when you're commuting, when you're wandering through the city just vibin', when you're on that long bus ride or sky-train ride staring out the window at the world passing by... So that's what this video is. It's you hanging out in our heads as we walk the streets of Vancouver, travelling towards something, or away from something, but always moving forward. We hope "Legacy" can be your soundtrack to those everyday moments in life, when you've finally put the phone away to really look around and enjoy the beauty of the world that surrounds you. We genuinely hope it can be a small light in this seemingly never ending darkness, even just for a moment."

Formed in Nicosia, Cyprus in 2012, Harmonize originally started as a thrash metal band until gradually transforming into the Heavy/Power Metal force that they are today, although the band still maintains some thrash and dark elements in their style.
Harmonize have so far released two demos and have performed live numerous times (including shows alongside Blaze Bayley, Bonfire, Wotan and others) while working on fine tuning their sound and style.
The band’s upcoming debut album, titled “Warrior in the Night” is scheduled for release on October 2nd and will be out on CD and Digital. It is based on an original epic fantasy fiction story that is still under development by guitarist George Constantinou and London-based actor Nicolina Papas.
As expected, battles and swords, kings and queens, angels and demons are but a few of the symbolic themes one will come across as the album’s story unfolds!
“Warrior in the Night” includes a couple guest appearances by close friends of the band, one being actor Nicolina Papas on the haunting narrative “Beyond Darkness” outro track of the album and also Andreas Paraschos of death metal act BLYND, who provides the brutal chorus backing vocals on the song “Tonight.”

Northern Irish Symphonic Power Metallers Ravenlight have just released a haunting new cover of ‘Zenith’ by Ghost.
Following on the release of their debut album ‘Project Genesis’ in June of this year, Ravenlight, unfortunately, had their live plans to promote the release cancelled due to the ongoing situation in the world, however, instead of remaining idle, they returned to the studio to record an ambitious cover of the Ghost track.
Singer Rebecca Feeney had the following to say about the track:
“Zenith may seem a not so obvious song for a cover, however, we went with Zenith for many reasons. I really enjoyed singing along to it, it really suited my range. Furthermore, we felt that Zenith is a very underrated Ghost song, due to the fact that it is a bonus track on the Vinyl version of Meliora, so it is not as well known as other tracks, giving us a chance to really put our own spin on it.”
