The progressive metalcore whirlwind Mask of Prospero release their new video / single "Lament". The song is the first single out from their upcoming album "Hiraeth", which will be released in January 2023 via ViciSolum Productions. Mask of Prospero is a progressive metalcore band that was built based on love for the human and the earthly element of life, for the feelings that spring from music, but also for the music that springs from this feeling. The character of a band, after all, is not formed only by the externalization of ideas, but mostly through an internal struggle to construct a unique identity. "Lament" is a dialogue of the soul, penetrating deep emotions above and beyond what man has been able to hear. It is a form of awareness, emanating from realistic experiences teeming with cynicism and melancholy, based on an axiom: that every person who happens to be a part of your daily routine, even for a while, lives a life as vivid and complex as yours· people who have been in our lives for a while and have treated us badly or made us realize things, and then disappear, leaving behind ashes of experiences, but also traces that may never be erased. The Greek lovechild of Botch and The Dillinger Escape Plan, the raucously brilliant Blame Kandinsky have announced their forthcoming album Eclectic Ruiner, to be released 2nd December via Venerate Industries. Blame Kandinsky have also revealed their first glimpse of the album via the strikingly beautiful and viscerally funny video for 'Ruined'.
Guitarist Marios Samaris comments: “The concept behind the album is one’s lifelong struggle. In a world that’s asphyxiating with indecency, racism, inequality and greed, we try to stay empathic and honest. Eclectic Ruiner shares the thought that pain is not an illusion, it is a part of us with a million faces that we observe and it observes us back.“ Of 'Ruined' itself, Marios says: “‘Ruined’ talks about those periods when you lay really low and you go through a battle with yourself trying either to accept you’re drowning, or to fight back and stand up again. There is no other person involved, it’s just you talking to your past self. The tricky part is that while this is coming over and over again, dredging up the past feels like two sides of the same coin, sometimes it makes you stronger and other times it shuts you down.“ A highly regarded group from Athens, Blame Kandinsky in their time have played alongside Cavalera Conspiracy, and toured multiple times across Europe. The band released their debut album Spotting Elegance In Chaos in 2017, recorded 100% live, capturing the very essence of a group steeped in the creative tradition of the best mathcore and melodic hardcore.
Due to COVID activity hiatus, Blame Kandinsky used the years to focus entirely on the compositional honing of Eclectic Ruiner. The group’s second album is a broad concept record about everyday struggle – it describes the idea that pain is not an illusion, and empathy is essential in order to survive. In a world asphyxiated by indecency, racism, inequality, and greed, the brutal honesty of Eclectic Ruiner shines though. Elements of Fall of Troy, The Chariot, Every Time I Die, and even Converge also blossom on a record that overflows with fury, melody, and passion. A true gem from the East. Blame Kandinsky are:
Hellenic prog black metal outfit Aenaon posts music video & new single titled "Hysteria". The band's upcoming album "Mnemosyne", from which the song is lifted, will see its release on October 7th via Agonia Records. "Six years have passed since our last album and we are thrilled to finally share our darkest effort so far," comments Aenaon. "As always, we have been silent but creatively restless, aiming to a timeless creation. Mnemosyne is an album of noir aesthetics and emotional extremity. The title derives from the Greek goddess of remembrance and the river of memory." Foreshadowed as an album of "heavily textured black metal", "Mnemosyne" will offer nine new songs, recorded, mixed and mastered by guitarist / bassist Achilleas C. (Varathron, Katavasia) at Suncord Audiolab in Ioannina, Greece. The painting that adorns the cover was created by Ben Howe while Ra.design prepared the layout. Apart from mastermind Achilleas C, the line-up comprises drummer Haris (Varathron), vocalist Astrous (Katavasia) and saxophonist Orestis Zyrinis. Clean vocals on "Synastry of Heartbeats", "Trauma Cultura" and "Mantledeath" were guest performed by Frédéric Gervais (Orakle / Cor Serpentii). The name Aenaon means "the Eternal" in Greek. The band's history dates back to 2006 and encompasses (on top of several smaller releases) three studio albums: "Cendres et Sang" (2011), "Extance" (2014) and "Hypnosophy" (2016).

Greek symphonic death crew Septicflesh release lyric video for new single "A Desert Throne"23/4/2022 Symphonic death metal maestros Septicflesh have revealed a striking lyric video, accompanying their magnificent new single "A Desert Throne'. Depicting a desolate, desert wasteland, completely void of humanity as we know it - one hopes that the end of times is a farfetched, distant future... Septicflesh's forthcoming studio record Modern Primitive will be released on May 20th, 2022. Pre-order it via various formats and stream the new single now at: https://septicflesh.bfan.link/a-desert-throne.ema The band commented: "This is a more epic song with dominant dramatic melodies. Will mankind be leaving behind a barren Earth as its legacy? A desert planet like Mars? For the visualization of the song, a small animation sequence was created by Cloud Factory and was 'dressed' appropriately with the lyrics of the song. Enjoy!" SEPTICFLESH ARE:

No matter what, onwards, always!” Jaap Wagemaker, A&R Nuclear Blast continues: "Nuclear Blast proudly presents the signing of Greek thrashers Suicidal Angels! After that, the band worked very hard building up their name across Europe releasing very strong albums like Dead Again, Bloodbath, Division of Blood, and especially their last album Years of Aggression which secured the band their highest charts entries in Germany, Austria, and Swiss. Live the band worked very hard on becoming a force to be reckoned with which they clearly showed at their tours with Satyricon and several thrash packages and their shows at some big festivals across Europe. Band links: Facebook | Youtube | Instagram | On Sliptrick Symphonic death metal masters Septicflesh have revealed a new video for their magnificent new single "Neuromancer". The track thunders along with a fierce groove whilst allowing for flourishes of otherworldly atmosphere to permeate the seemingly impenetrable wall of sound. Pre-order Modern Primitive on various formats and stream the new single now at: https://septicflesh.bfan.link/neuromancer.ema Guitarist, vocalist, and lyricist Sotiris Anunnaki V. comments:- "A technologically advanced society, where morals decline and crime thrives, is the 'stage' of this song. The main character is suffering from severe neural damage. In order to receive a cure, and be able to physically reconnect to the global network, he accepts an obscure hacking mission. After all, the virtual reality data space, to him, is more like home. The skeleton of the song was structured upon the 12 string guitar. The main melody and the various emotional tones of the song were crafted upon this more organic-sounding instrument. Then, after arrangement decisions were taken, the song turned out the way you hear it. Besides the strings, brass, and other standard orchestra sections used, a mandolin takes a lead role preparing for the climax of the addictive chorus and the ultra-heavy main riff. Also, there is a more theatrical interaction with the various vocal styles within our arsenal in this song." Septicflesh are:-
