Having the title “Negative Abyss”, the debut album of Spanish band The Holeum has to sound destructive, and hopeless. Founded in the second half of 2014, former musicians of bands like NahemaH, Demised, quantumXperience, Hela, Neptunian Sun, and Priest of Dawn started this new outlet to stretch the boundaries and to reinforce the emotional impression of what dark and weirdly music can be and achieve.
“Negative Abyss” consists of eight tracks expressing inner conflicts and the never ending search for meaning in life. The Holeum’s first album debouches in between post metal and dark ambient – always being full of atmosphere, and subtleness. Being in preoccupation with its multi-layered heavy tunes, the Spanish four-piece undergoes a “Negative Abyss” to find relief and peace of mind in the end. The path is arduous as songs titles like ‘Cosmic Horror’, ‘Dystopia’, ‘Nuclear Mysticism’, or ‘Pictures of the Uncanny’ suggest. But The Holeum face up to their inner demons.

Season Of Mist are proud to announce the signing of Kontinuum. The Icelandic-wave influenced ambient rockers will release their next full-length on this label.
Regarding their signing, Kontinuum confessed that they: "are very pleased to announce our signing with Season of Mist. To us it is important to work with people that we connect with. People that relate to our creative output and vision. This is why we look forward to our future cooperation with Season of Mist."
Kontinuum were conceived with the aim to create hypnotic and spiritual musical noise in Reykjavik, Iceland in the year 2010.
After sending demo tracks of their debut album 'Earth Blood Magic' to a few labels, a first deal was quickly struck. Kontinuum wasted no time and entered Sigur Rós' Sundlaugin Studio in the Icelandic town Mosfellsbær in order to begin record their first full length, which was released in 2012.
'Earth Blood Magic' received rave reviews across the board and was voted rock album of the year in Morgunblaðið, Iceland.
The band played numerous shows in 2013 and established a reputation as a powerful live band.
Kontinuum started working on their sophomore album in 2014. A first single titled "I Huldusal" was released the same year and received substantial radio play in Iceland, while even topping the charts of the island's largest alternative rock radio station.
'Kyrr' hit the stores in April 2015 alongside the brand new single "Breathe". Following the release of their second album, Kontinuum embarked on two tours in Germany and performed at several festivals including the prestigious Roadburn Festival (Netherlands), Eurosonic Festival (Netherlands), Icelandic Airwaves and Eistnaflug Festival at home, and Lithuania's Devilstone Festival.
"The Verdict" will be released May 13 via Bastardized Recordings.

German metal unit I Am Noah has revealed the cover art and track list for its debut album, "The Verdict".
Produced by Aljoscha Sieg at Pitchback Studio, the album questions the long-existing, yet unchallenged barriers of the mind that humanity has grown to accept. In 12 songs, unapologetic intensity meets empathy, devotion and structure.
Sonically rooted in ambient metalcore, the album is defined by its progressive riffing and percussive assault. The lyrics are written from the perspective of the album's fictional anti-hero, Noah.
"I Am Noah and I'm tired. I'm tired of people who distinguish themselves with their income, uniform, skin colour, religion, gender or nationality to affect everything and everyone. I'm tired of being closely watched. I'm tired of living in a society, which dictates who to be or not. I'm tired of facing people's failure in their attempt of making life better, whilst being deported and called illegal or haunted just because of their religion. I'm tired.. I'm done. I just want to abscond from this routine. Who's in? I Am Noah. Who are you?"
