“Bitterness and Burning Hatred” full length album - CD limited edition to 500 copies, first 50 include sticker + pin
Release date to be announced!!
Skeletal is a death metal band from Jyväskylä Finland, originally formed in 2007, reactivated in 2013.
Musically the band is influenced by late 80's / early 90's classic death and thrash bands, such as Morbid Angel, Death, Pestilence, Carcass and Slayer. The band combines the aggression of thrash and brutality of classic death metal, with ambitious songwriting, melodic guitar leads and atmospheric parts.
“Bitterness and Burning Hatred” is the band’s second full length album, following the debut “Dreadful Life” (2016). This upcoming album features 9 songs of aggressive death metal with old school production and more progressive influences on songwriting.
Staying indoors for long periods of time does have its silver linings - for instance, more time for artistic inspiration! Jinjer fan Mychailo Halinin turned boredom and isolation into creativity and remade the seminal music video for "Perennial" from their 2019 EP Micro - with LEGO.
Today, the band releases the video through the official channels. Watch the video HERE!
Commented bass player Eugene Abdukhanov:-
"Who has not played with LEGO as a kid? Who has not secretly dreamed of starring in their own LEGO MOVIE!? What a wonderful gift and pleasure this was to watch and now to release Perennial LEGO to the world … these are indeed very strange days but thank you Mychailo for making our day a little bit more bright and positive!"
Devastating riffs, aggressive vocals, powerful melodies and astonishingly deep lyrics are what make their new album, Macro, Jinjer’s most advanced and undeniable album yet – taking the listener on a journey of trauma, power struggle and greed with a progressive groove metal backdrop.

Nestled in the small northern Norwegian town of Alta, far above the Arctic circle, there's a rumbling of brutality shaking the earth from a young, dynamic metal quintet known as Féleth. Creating heavy, melodic assaults, that transcends the traditional limits of the genre, these great northern Norwegians, are taking their influences of death metal, thrash, deathcore, rock and even elements of Jazz to unleash to the world their debut album "Depravity" due out via DeadPop Records on May 22, 2020.
With songs like 'Swan Song' showing off their deathcore influences, to the epic 'Dissolution' jumping from death metal to jazz to black metal seamlessly, and tracks like 'Pale Tongue' transforming from in your face death metal to a beautiful ambient soundscape, Féleth is a band that is ready to rise to the occasion and leap into the international moshpit.
The album was mixed and mastered by death metal legend, Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Shadow of Intent, The Agonist, Beyond Creation) at The Grid Productions. The album also features guest vocals from home town hero, singer / songwriter Petter Carlsen.
Lyrically the album pulls away from traditional death metal tropes, to also criticize capitalism, pollution, fake news and the depravity of humanity at large. Musically, the full length features beautiful melodic leads, heavy chugging guitars, bass solo’s, fast intricate drum work and the huge vocal range from the lead vocalist, Espen Dagenborg.

Watch the life-in-quarantine video for “Wasted on You” self-shot by the band HERE (link live at 12pm EST/5pm UK)
Evanescence has announced their first album of new original music in nine years - The Bitter Truth (RCA UK) - which will be released incrementally over the course of this year. Launching the first song and video, “Wasted on You” HERE (link will go live at 12pm EST / 9am PST/5pm UK) today, Friday 24th April, it will premiere live via YouTube during which singer Amy Lee will participate in a fan Q&A.
The video for “Wasted on You” was shot by each band member - lead singer-songwriter and pianist Amy Lee, bassist Tim McCord, drummer Will Hunt, lead guitarist Troy McLawhorn, and guitarist Jen Majura - on their iPhones while currently in isolation. The intimately shot video (directed by P.R. Brown in collaboration with the band) breaks through the emotional stillness and numbness of the current time to reflect the internal highs and lows that each of us are experiencing on a daily basis.
Perfectly encapsulating the current moods of disconnection from the world, lack of control, and purposelessness felt by so many, the video finds the band members alone at their homes and with their families, biding time and trying to create in a world and for an audience that seems smaller than ever. Paired with Amy Lee’s stunning vocals and the band’s signature pure-rock sound, the song’s central refrain is shockingly timely & universal.
As Amy explains:-
“We were recording this music right up until we couldn’t go into the studio anymore, and finished it remotely through file sharing and phone calls. We are still writing and have a lot more work to do on this album, but this time we wanted to release the songs individually, as we create, to live more in the moment with our fans and our music.
‘Wasted On You’ wasn’t the song we were planning to release first, but when the whole world went into indefinite lockdown and everything changed, so did the feeling and meaning of what we wanted to say right now. I didn’t write these lyrics about what we’re all now going through, but somehow that’s exactly what they are.
As far as business is concerned, this is considered a terrible time to release. But we believe that people need music now more than ever. We do, and we’re not going to wait to share it because who knows what tomorrow brings. Who knows if it even comes?"
Director P.R. Brown adds:-
“After we started looking at the footage it was clear that the band members were each going through similar things. I started building an edit seeing those scenarios play out over and over again and linked them together to tell their stories.”
The Bitter Truth takes its foundation in the epic, signature sound that has earned Evanescence two GRAMMY awards and more than 23 million album sales worldwide. Producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Rush, Deftones) has been tracking with the band in Nashville since late January. In a break from the past, the band will be rolling out a series of songs from the album incrementally, culminating in the release of the full album. Later this year, the band plans to tour through Europe on the rescheduled co-headline tour with Within Temptation originally scheduled for this month. Conditions permitting, the band will also continue to perform shows in other parts of the world as well.

Russian death metallers Infiltration are pleased to announce that they have signed a worldwide contract with Time To Kill Records, joining the label’s growing roster of premier talent.
The official lyric video of the band's latest single, "Radiation Storm", is available HERE.
The members of Infiltration first came together in 2017 with one goal in mind: to pay homage to some of their favourite death metal, give it their own heavy twist, and to have a blast doing it.
The band's line-up features experienced musicians who used to be involved with such bands as Free At Last, Hellbomb, Chamber Of Torture, Katalepsy, Abnormal, and who shared the stage with iconic acts such as Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Suffocation and Broken Hope.
In 2017 the band recorded the debut EP "Nuclear Strike Warning", which was very well received by both critics and fans, and made quite a stir in the local music scene. The band also released a single and a lyric video for the song “The Art of War”, supporting the release.
During 2018-2019 the band continued to give live performances, both locally and abroad, all the while, writing and recording the material for the debut full-length album. The autumn of 2019 proved to be a very prosperous time: the band opened for legendary Napalm Death, in front of fully packed venue. Also in September Infiltration released the "Missing in Bodycount" single, off the upcoming album. Shortly after the gig the band decided to release another lyric video, for the song "Radiation Storm", this time via the Slam Worldwide Youtube channel. The clip rapidly gained popularity and positive feedback.
Infiltration will officially announce the release of new music – arriving in the form of their first full-length album – very soon. The album's artwork will be handled by highly acclaimed master of artworks Daemorph (The Black Dahlia Murder, Pyrexia, Lividity).
Stay tuned for more details and music, coming soon!

The Dutch masters of horror Carach Angren are back with their 6(66)th full length 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus', which will see the light on June 26, 2020. In celebration, the horror outfit is now releasing the second new track from the album; 'Der Vampir von Nürnberg'.
The new offering can be seen, in the form of a lyric video, via the Season of Mist YouTube channel HERE. The link may be freely spread throughout your channels.
Carach Angren comment:-
"We proudly present you 'Der Vampir von Nürnberg', taken from our upcoming album. The song is a sub-story connected to the overarching horrifying concept on the album. Welcome to the world of a gruesome killer and vampiric necrophiliac dabbling in the wickedness of the occult!"
Please note that the release date was changed due to the COVID-19 situation. The new and correct release date is June 26, 2020
The Dutch masters of horror are back with their most flamboyant album so far. On 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus', Carach Angren resurrect the gruesome story of troubled soul ‘Conrad Dippel’; the inspiration of Mary Shelly’s novel 'Frankenstein'.
Carach Angren have extended all the sonic colours on their established palette to dazzling effect. Their trademark whipping guitars are weaving harsh melodies and sinister soundscapes, which are beautifully contrasted by opulent keyboards and majestic orchestrations. That Till Lindemann (RAMMSTEIN) and Peter Tägtgren (PAIN) have called upon the composition talent of Clemens "Ardek" Wijers is a telling sign of his outstanding mastery of the craft. Another signatory counterpoint is provided by Seregor's fierce rasping and shrieking vocals. Adding to the impact, Namtar has become a relentless driving force with his hart hitting yet intricate drumming. Each track on this album is a highlight on its own, while combined 'Franckensteina Strataemontanus ' simply shines.
Ministry releases new song "Alert Level" + lyric video; Al Jourgensen asks fans to make videos answering “How Concerned Are You?”
With a new election on the horizon and America still on the brink, Ministry’s Al Jourgensen has re-entered the studio to create his missives that will become material for a to-be-announced new album on Nuclear Blast Records. The first taste comes today with the bold new track “Alert Level” accompanied by a provocative lyric video, created by Agent Ogden.
See the video on Nuclear Blast’s YouTube page: https://youtu.be/qctA4yGMXWA
The song is the first new material from Jourgensen in two years and has a timely message as America—and the global population—faces epidemics, environmental crises, political corruption and one of the biggest elections of our lifetime.
Regarding “Alert Level,” Jourgensen says:-
“We finished the song in January and it sounded great during rehearsals for our Australia/Japan tour dates, before we went into quarantine. The original plan was to finish the new record before the July ‘Industrial Strength’ US tour so we could have an Election Day release, but in lieu of the circumstances—and how relevant the song feels for these bizarre times—we decided to release ‘Alert Level’ now. Considering that this song features the question ‘How concerned are you?’ I’ll be interested to see how folks answer it themselves.”
Hear Jourgensen discuss more about “Alert Level” on Bill Burr’s latest episode of his “Monday Morning Podcast”: https://billburr.com/monday-morning-podcast-4-20-20/
With the release of “Alert Level,” fans are asked to be a part of the larger conversation by answering the question posed by the song’s central message, “How concerned are you?” Fans should upload videos, 30 seconds or less, to their social media profiles with the hashtag #MinistryAlertLevel. All the members of Ministry will be watching from home and selecting the videos most meaningful to them, which will be later shared.
Ministry also encourages fans to voice their concerns by voting in the upcoming 2020 elections and has partnered with Head Count to help voters to become registered in time. More info can be found here: http://ministryband.com/vote
“Alert Level” will be included on Ministry’s upcoming 15th full-length release and the follow-up to the acclaimed 2018 record, “AmeriKKKant,” which was a return to form for the industrial juggernaut and garnered international tour dates, a collaboration with Wax Trax! and a support slot on Slayer’s final tour.

Ravenscry has unveiled a video for “The Door Inside,” the latest in a weekly series of lyric videos leading up to the May 15 release of the album 100.
Watch “The Door Inside” at https://youtu.be/r07aMfSeVdM.
Musically, “The Door Inside” is a combination of both the “classic” and the renewed sound of the Italian alt-metal band. Mighty 8-string riffs and chords give way to melodic synths and even catchier vocals – in a sense, exploring new shores while keeping the same bold attitude.
Giulia Stefani states that:-
“In a similar way, you can find a sort of dichotomy in the lyrics, where personal research can deepen one of our greatest inner struggles: the never-ending ‘fight’ between instinct and rationality. This conflict becomes ‘louder’ when we have to make choices, and yet we don’t face them the same way every time. Sometimes we want to be more rational, sometimes we wish to fulfil our desires and sometimes we just have to find the right balance in order to take the best decision. Everyone finds their answers, although we all know that there’s only one thing we have to leave outside the door: fear.”
The melodic metal band is launching back onto the global metal scene with the highly anticipated 100. Featuring dramatically soaring vocals, bone-shaking rhythms and dark songwriting, for nearly a decade this fierce group has been hooking millions of listeners worldwide with their infectious anthems. Their first album in three years, 100 attests to Ravenscry’s bold return. With more energy, more melody and even smarter lyrics, 100 stays true to the core of Ravenscry’s sound while remaining accessible enough to hook even more new listeners. Sincere, intelligent and brutally honest — the album sums up the human experience to a tee, from epic highs to soul-crushing lows.
Ravenscry released “Maybe,” the first official single and video from 100, last month. Watch “Maybe” here: https://youtu.be/ROgLlZSBfzE.
“The Entertainer” – a song inspired by entertainers who keep audiences smiling while silently struggling and fighting personal demons – was the first in the lyric video series and can be viewed at https://youtu.be/41FhzbVAar0.
100 was produced by Ravenscry, mixed by Roberto Laghi (In Flames, Hardcore Superstar) and mastered by Dragan Tanasković (In Flames, Dark Tranquillity). The album features artwork by Spanish artist Mario “Aégis” S. Nevado.
Pre-order 100 now via the Ravenscry webstore at https://store.ravenscryband.com/.
Ravenscry first made a mark on the world in 2011 with their debut album, One Way Out, and began steadily grinding their way up the ranks of the global metal scene. In 2014, the band spearheaded a campaign to raise awareness about violence against women with the release of The Attraction of Opposites and the single “Alive,” released on International Women’s Day. 2017 saw the release of the concept album The Invisible, which told a complex and mystifying coming of age tale, followed by numerous European festival appearances and tours with Angra and Geoff Tate’s Operation: Mindcrime.

Greek Psychedelic Progressive Metallers Hail Spirit Noir premiere new song 'The First Ape On New Earth'
Greek Psychedelic / Progressive Metallers Hail Spirit Noir unveil the first single, "The First Ape On New Earth", from their forthcoming studio album, "Eden In Reverse". The release is slated for June 19th on Agonia Records.
Listen to the new song, at: https://youtu.be/6kf--_8d0ko
The band had this to say on the new album:-
"This is the album we've spent the most time on. We started off doing some experiments without any idea where they could lead to. After the first 3-4 tracks, we realized we were onto something new for the band. We were no longer in the 60s-70s zone but more in the 70s-80s. The songs sounded retro-futuristic and surreal but they were also more prog, psychedelic and challenging than ever. In the lyrics, we re-wrote the story of Eden from a surreal, Richard Dawkins-esque, Darwinian point of view. The result was Eden in Reverse".
Hail Spirit Noir is an intriguing psychedelic prog metal band, with strong experimental and prog rock influences, recommended for fans of Oranssi Pazuzu, Ulver, Borknagar, or Ghost, yet with an identity of its own. Their third and last album, "Mayhem In Blue", was released to critical acclaim in 2016, and was followed by several festival appearances, including a thundering performance at Roadburn (which simultaneously marked the first-ever appearance of a Greek band at the festival) and other festivals such as Inferno (Norway), Dark Bombastic Evening (Romania) and more.
The group was established late 2010 as a trio and issued their debut album "Pneuma" two years later. Its warm reception strengthened the band's experimental approach and enhanced its quirky take on music, all of which inevitably led to the release of "Oi Magoi" in 2014; a psychedelic prog-black metal opus of trippy melodies and satyric aura. Followed by "Mayhem In Blue" in 2016, the band's signature sound was solidified, and at the same time expanded into more aggressive territories, without abandoning the group's trademark psychedelic-infused melodies. Since 2018, the trio has been joined full-time by its live members, changing the band into a sextet. The new album "Eden In Reverse" was completed late 2019. It is regarded by Hail Spirit Noir as the next step in their ongoing evolution, this time with an 80s twist.
"Eden In Reverse" was recorded at Lunatech Studios. The album was produced and mixed by Dimitris Douvras (Rotting Christ) and mastered by Alan Douches (Nile, Aborted, Whitechapel). Cover artwork was prepared by StuZor. The track "Crossroads" features guest vocals from Lars Nedland of Borknagar.
