Italian progressive rock / metal band Heretic’s Dream premieres a new video for the song ‘My Epiphany‘, taken from their album ‘Floating State Of Mind‘, which was released earlier this year. The video was directed by 'Adriano Giotti' and can be viewed here: https://youtu.be/vjoYORR9FPg "The song is about the consciousness of a woman that strength she has been always looking for within the others must be found inside herself; that she needs to go on her own following her way." The band just confirmed to play as support for Delain, two shows on January 20 in St. Petersburg and January 21, 2017 in Moscow, Russia. Heretic’s Dream is a female fronted five piece rock band that can’t easily be labelled as playing anyone type of rock music! Their music is Hard Rock, Alternative, Progressive and Metal, combining unusual and complex rhythms with a fierce energy, making their music unique! www.hereticsdream.com www.facebook.com/pages/Heretics-Dream/229362950413489 English Death Metallers Dyscarnate join Unique Leader Records for the release of their third album26/10/2016 2016 ushers in a new dawn for UK metal trio Dyscarnate. After a period of silence spent writing and dealing with personnel shifts due to the loss of long-time member Henry Bates, the group is set to return with a third album, a fresh sound, a new vocalist / bassist in Arceye's Al Llewellyn, and a union with Florida's renowned Unique Leader Records. "We're stoked to be working on the new record with Unique Leader," says drummer Matt Unsworth. "Our style has continued to evolve from album to album and we feel Unique Leader is the perfect home for our new material. We can't wait for everyone to hear what we've put together for album three. It's got all the grooves and blasts our fans would expect but the whole thing is drenched in a fucking dark atmosphere. There's genuine progression from the last record to this one. There is no doubt in my mind that it will surprise more than a few people." Dyscarnate has long been flying the flag for UK death metal all over the world. Having toured across Australia, Europe, Indonesia, Israel, Russia and more, fans can expect to see the three-piece powerhouse's dominance to spread even further in the coming year. Following the release of the debut EP Annihilate To Liberate in 2008, Dyscarnate were met with overwhelming feedback from national magazines, record labels, and fans alike which consequently led to a multi-album deal with the UK's Siege Of Amida Records. The band's debut full-length Enduring The Massacre earned the tag of "best new death metal band in the UK, without question," by Terrorizer Magazine. Dyscarnate toured the album extensively and internationally with such high profile names as The Black Dahlia Murder, Despised Icon, Cephalic Carnage, and Psycroptic, then swiftly followed up the success of their debut. Cited as "one of the best death metal albums to come out of the UK in the last twenty years" by Metal Hammer's Dom Lawson, Dyscarnate's devastating second record, 2012's And So It Came To Pass, was met with an unprecedented reaction from critics and fans globally with Terrorizer calling the album "the freshest breath of air." Keen to capitalize on their success in the press, Dyscarnate set out on a blitzkrieg touring schedule, which saw them fly the flag for British extreme music across Australia, Israel, Indonesia, Russia, and Europe, sharing stages with such names as Cannibal Corpse, Carcass, Fear Factory, Gojira and Decapitated among countless others. Dyscarnate's as-yet-untitled third full-length will be released in 2017 with official details to be unveiled in the coming weeks. Three men, one purpose, one sound. The album tells the story about those moments in life when people are aware of their own insignificance and can not overcome the emotional pain. Everyday is torture for them, loneliness guards their cage where they feel there is no escape. In hope of change, they turn their eyes to the sky. In December 2013, they released their first two songs, "За чертой" and "На битом стекле", which marked the beginning of the project. People suffering from mental disorders caused by public misunderstanding, undivided love and their own weakness are the main influence in Taiga's lyrics. In January 2014, Taiga released their the first EP called "Ты всё ещё дышишь" (You Are Still Breathing), which was immediately followed by another EP in February 2014, entitled "Прах к праху" (Ashen To Ashen). With great feedback on their EPs, Taiga revealed their debut full length "Ashen Light" during March 2014. The album featured new arranged tracks from the first two EPs and was co-released by labels Satanath Record, Metallic Media and and Le Crépuscule Du Soir Productions. In 2015, they released their second album "Gaia" via labels Symbol Of Domination and Metallic Media. In 2016, band recruited Aleksey "Satanath" Korolyov as their keyboardist / ambient sound maker to add to their mystic atmosphere. Quick Note: Andrei Chernov was not involved in the recording of the new album 'Sky', but is still involved as a member of the band. https://www.facebook.com/TaigaOfficialPage Hailing from the city of Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh (India), heavy metallers Against Evil have published a video for their brand new single "Stand Up And Fight!". Lead guitarist Shasank comments on the song: ""Stand Up and Fight!" is all about having the courage to confront your fears and to fight for what's right. We've always wanted to do a music video for one of our songs and we felt this was the right song to do so. We also came up with a simple story line based on the song and wanted to include that in the music video."" The musician also spoke about their crowdfunding campaign which helped this video to become a reality: "We didn't want to compromise on the quality of our music video and wanted it to match the production and standards set by our debut album "Fatal Assault". That's why we launched a campaign on the popular crowd-funding site "Indiegogo" to help us raise funds for this music video. We are very thankful to everyone who has supported our campaign and helped us in the making of this music video. We are very happy and proud of what it turned out to be!" The band's debut album "Fatal Assault" was released last year through Transcending Obscurity. Stream it at: http://newnoisemagazine.com/song-premiere-defiant-funeral-feast/ They will release their sophomore full-length album Time Isn't Healing November 25 through Ferrrum Records. Pre-order here: http://ferrrum.tictail.com/product/defiant-time-isnt-healing-2016-cd Since their formation in 2008, Defiant's mission has been to enthral fans with a brand of power metal that is as muscular as it is melodic. Defiant went on to release no less than three EPs and 2012's full-length debut Masquerade, collectively laying the groundwork for what can only be called its magnum opus: Time Isn't Healing. The crunching riffs and soaring leads of guitarist Andrey Turkovsky blend seamlessly with the epic, often breathtaking keyboard work of Victoria Terzieva, while Stanislav Proshkin's gritty yet tuneful vocals offer a captivating stamp of distinction. The clanging bass lines of Oleg Yakovlev and airtight drumming of Eugeniy Smolin form a robust rhythmic foundation. But it's the quality and consistency of the songwriting that is perhaps most impressive about the new album. Whether the up-tempo power metal pummel of "Milestones of Time" or the mid-tempo elegance of "According to the Acts," Time Isn't Healing sinks the hooks in deep and keep the listener in a state of rapt attention from beginning to end. Fans of Helloween, Rage, and similar icons of the genre are strongly encouraged to give this one a spin. The album's title track is streaming at this location. Lavadome Productions has released a compilation CD from Australian Death Metal brutes Beyond Mortal Dreams. Entitled "As Death, We Shall Walk", the album compiles the band's demo, promo and 2004 EP tracks, along with a cover of Nocturnus' "Lake of Fire" featuring Mike Browning on backing vocals, and a re-recording of "Underground Dwellers." The album serves to expose fans to a surprisingly fresh collection of song from the past, as Beyond Mortal Dreams prepares for the release of its sophomore full-length in 2017. Stream the Nocturnus cover at this location. The CD comes with an eight-page booklet filled with photos from the old days. Also included are liner notes written by band's ex-drummer Hellaeon, which perfectly captures the passion of the early days; a passion that continues to burn to this day. Order "As Death, We Shall Walk" at http://store.lavadome.org/ https://www.facebook.com/beyondmortaldreams http://www.lavadome.org/ It's been five long years since Condenados' cult debut album for Shadow Kingdom Records, A Painful Journey Into Nihil, but at long last, the wait is over: on January 13th, 2017, the Chilean doom-lords return with their highly anticipated second album, The Tree of Death! For over a decade now, Condenados have been expertly crafting ancient, '80s-style European Doom metal that's proud and pure, poignant and provocative, and everything that made A Painful Journey Into Nihil a scene classic is amplified here on The Tree of Death. The lumbering grooves, the transcendent lead work, the emotive vocals, even a newfound swagger, and just the consistently bursting energy across their forlorn stomp... Condenados are reverential of the form, but masters all the same. As such, The Tree of Death is very likely to appeal to fans of classic Candlemass, old Cathedral, the UK's Solstice, compatriots Procession, and even those who worship Bathory's Viking era. And at six songs in a swift 35 minutes, Condenados succinctly make their point and compel repeat spins of The Tree of Death. Musically and aesthetically, The Tree of Death has strong symbolic art that manifests the most basic instincts of human beings, lyrically channelled through Goetia’s demonology. The cover art was crafted by esteemed Italian artist Paolo Girardi, who has worked with such bands as Manilla Road, Inquisition, Cauchemar, and Blasphemophager among others. The artwork for The Tree of Death is already being acclaimed across social media networks as one of the most incredible works done by Girardi. The Tree of Death features special appearances of well-known metalheads like Olof Wikstrand, vocalist of Sweden's Enforcer, who was in charge of the mixing and mastering process. Also, the recording of the album took place in Equinox Studios in Rancagua, Chile, assisted by the guitarist and vocalist of Wrathprayer and Oraculum. Simultaneously with the album's release, Condenados will soon reveal a video for "Demon's Head," whose theme will address the adverse effects of playing with black magic without having the knowledge of the art. In the meantime, hear "Sea of Fire," the first track to be revealed from The Tree of Death, exclusively at Shadow Kingdom's Bandcamp HERE, where the album can also be pre-ordered. Also, watch a professionally recorded performance and interview in their native Chile HERE. Cover and track-listing are as follows: “Crucified Dreams”, the debut EP by young female-fronted metal band Windshades, sanctions the collaboration with Atomic Stuff Promotion. The EP release in digital format is scheduled for November, further details will be unveiled soon. Windshades is founded in May 2015 by singer Chiara Manzoli and drummer Carlo Bergamaschi, two musicians with opposite but complementary features: Chiara is an opera soprano with choral and theatrical experiences, while Carlo has an essentially Punk/HardCore formation and joined for several months Horror Rock band Splatters as live drummer. The line-up is immediately completed by guitarist and composer Matteo Usberti, responsible for the composition of the first original songs and their aggressive sound. In July 2015 bass player Andrea Bissolati and second guitarist Michele Capelli join the band. Andrea, a Nu Metal, Jazz and Funky enthusiast, adds his creativity to the band's sound and, in November, Windshades are ready to record their first self-produced demo, bringing them to the attention of Atomic Stuff. Later on, Michele leaves the band in favor of his full-time studies. His place is taken by Riccardo Soresina, an expert guitarist with a solid live experience; he definitively marks the band's sound with sharp riffs that strengthen each song. With a stabilized line-up, the band starts its live activity and gains positive feedback. In May 2016 Windshades enter the Atomic Stuff Recording Studio (Isorella, Brescia, Italy) and realize the EP “Crucified Dreams” under producer Oscar Burato's supervision. https://www.facebook.com/pg/windshadesband https://twitter.com/windshadesband https://soundcloud.com/windshadesband https://www.atomicstuff.com |
