Swedish Symphonic DSBM band Mist Of Misery unveils artwork for upcoming EP Shackles of life
Swedish Symphonic Black metal DSBM band Mist Of Misery is back with a new EP Shackles Of Life
Shackles Of Life and Fields Of Isolation were written and recorded during 2016 in studio Forlorn Halls and on various private locations around Stockholm.
The band comments: "The themes on both EP's vary quite a lot from our earlier works, but the original concept of Mist Of Misery is still there. Those who have heard our latest release, Absence, will surely find some similarities to both that album and also to our earlier releases."
The EP features guest vocals from Paolo Bruno of Thy Light and Georg of Coldworld. Artwork was done by talented Russian artist Alex Tartsus. Link

"Absence" is the title track from the upcoming full length album from Swedish Symphonic / DSBM act Mist of Misery. This track is a good representation of the current musical direction, which differs from the bands previous releases, but still maintains the core elements of Mist of Misery – melancholy, darkness and melody. Out on CD and Digital 1 August 2016
Mist of Misery Absence will be out as CD digipak limited to 250 copies and Jewel-case version limited to 250 copies!
The artwork was drawn by the exceptionally talented Russian artist Alex Tartsus.

Gibraltar's one-man DSBM project Days Of Our Lives is pleased to announce the release of their latest single.
Sole musician and GMA's Gibraltar correspondent comments:
"The single is entitled "And For A Moment The World Just Stopped" and is the first single to be release for the upcoming Days of Our Lives album. Over the years the band has explored and expanding in different ways and this album I am hoping will showcase all that has happened. The single itself features no metal tracks but rather a classical piano piece and a bonus track which hopefully will set the mood for the album. It will be released on Monday the 19th of August on my own label No Remorse Records (Gibraltar) and will be limited to 100 copies only. This will also be the last release that Days of Our Lives will be solely myself in the recordings as the album features a singer to handle some parts, but all music, lyrics and most of the main vocal duties are still going to be handled by me".
