Milan Records have released the title track and lead single from Netflix’s upcoming superhero comedy Thunder Force. ‘Thunder Force’ was written by composer Fil Eisler for the film alongside Scott Ian (Anthrax) and Corey Taylor (Slipknot & Stone Sour) and features a star-studded line-up of metal legends Lzzy Hale (Halestrom), Dave Lombardo (Slayer) as well as dynamic electric cellist Tina Guo. The track features as the end credits song to the new action comedy from writer / director Ben Falcone and starring Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer, which premieres on Netflix Friday, April 9. It features as the lead single to the film’s original soundtrack by composer Fil Eisler, which will be released by Milan Records in conjunction with the film’s debut next Friday, April 9.
Of the track, composer Fil Eisler says:
“One of the great things about scoring movies is that I get to play in a lot of different musical sandboxes and occasionally the opportunity comes up to invite in some special guests. Anthrax and Slayer played a huge part in my childhood and I’ve been a fan of both Corey [Taylor] and Lzzy [Hale] for years, so when the idea of doing an orchestral metal score came up, it was a perfect excuse to go straight to the source. Why fake it when you can work with the real originals! It was honestly one of the most outright fun experiences of my scoring career so far.”

Bring Me The Horizon continue their assault on 2019 with the release of a new track entitled ‘Ludens’ from the highly anticipated "Death Stranding" Soundtrack (original music from the world of Death Stranding: Timefall).
These recent releases (Ludens and in the dark) showcase Bring Me The Horizon at their best and help to confirm their status as one of the most important British rock bands in the world.
The soundtrack features original music inspired by the upcoming PlayStation 4 (PS4™) video game. Last month it was announced that RCA Records had partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment (“SIE”) to release the soundtrack which is out today and available here.
‘Ludens’ follows previously released tracks ‘Trigger’ by Major Lazer & Khalid, ‘Ghost’ by Au/Ra x Alan Walker, ‘Yellow Box’ by The Neighbourhood and ‘Death Stranding’ by Chvrches.
Oli says of the track:-
“Death Stranding is a game I’ve been waiting for long before collaborating with them was on the table. Kojima-san is one of the few people I would call a hero to me, so making a track for his first game since Konami was equal parts daunting, stressful & exciting… the whole thing felt surreal, and not right... to be honest I didn’t see where a Bring Me The Horizon song was going to fit into an art house AAA game but I was stupid to try and pigeonhole Kojima’s style!”
From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes an all-new, genre-defying experience for PlayStation®4 system. Sam Bridges must brave a world transformed by the Death Stranding. Carrying the remnants of our future in his hands, he embarks on a mission to reunite the shattered world.
