Loss Of Infection is a South Korean deathcore band formed in January 2019 when Heewook-Lee, Seolmin kim and Jongwook-Shin left the band Tornself, which was active in Daegu, and recruited bass player Jaehyeop Oh, former member of Noa. In the early days, the group pursued a rather slow tempo, a doom element and a core tendency. Loss Of Infection released their first single, Venom Prison (2019), but soon changed their style and released a second single, The Haunted (early 2020), which is faster and with a stronger tendency toward hardcore. In the first half of 2019, the band mainly performed with local metal bands but in the second half of 2019, they started supporting major band such as Slaughter To Prevail, Within Destruction, Signs Of The Swarm. Loss Of Infection are influenced by Chelsea Gran, White Chapel, Black Tongue, Falsifier, Thy Art Is Murder, Varials, Knocked Loose, etc, which features the development between death metal and hardcore but the group are also suitable for deathcore, doom and ambient audiences. They are currently recording the upcoming EP release Dark Dimension. The female-fronted Vietnamese band is joined in the video by Sang Yul Song, vocalist for the South Korean band End These Days, whose screams perfectly compliment clean vocalist and front-woman Duong's in this aggressive, energetic and yet still melodic single. While Windrunner strive to create new, unique and introspective music that doesn't resemble anyone else's, a few comparisons might come to mind: if you're a fan of Erra or Invent Animate, you will surely find something to sink your teeth into. From the groove these guys bring to the table, to the fantastic cleans that could rival some pop stars', Windrunner are here to make a statement and an impression. We've asked the band to shed some light on the track and what it means to them:- "Sakura portrays the complex feelings one might experience when you put a lot of trust in the people who are dear to you, yet you don't get the same in return. It can turn into disappointment, anger, sadness and overall just bring a negative energy into your life. However, it is important to realize and respect the difference between each individual, rather than forcing our expectations onto others. It is okay to feel all these emotions, and sometimes it hurts, but after all of that, it is important to keep a clear head, embrace the good times, and continue to pursue what you believe in." You can pre-order or pre-save the band's debut full length, due out November 30th, now, and get all the singles as gratification tracks right away. Windrunner are a progressive metalcore quintet hailing from Hanoi, Vietnam. Founded in early 2015 from the merger of two renowned Vietnamese metalcore bands: Epione and Alive In Sight, Windrunner quickly made a name for themselves with their unique blend of rhythm and melodies, groovy yet intricate riffs, soothing ambience, melodic guitar lines, coupled with catchy vocal choruses from female vocalist Duong Bui. Their debut EP “VUI” was released in June 2015 and received positive acclaims from around the world. Since then, Windrunner have actively toured around Vietnam, South East Asia and South Korea, supporting bands such as Attila, Secrets, Benighted, Hiss From The Moat, Coldburn, King Ly Chee, Born From Pain, Earthists, and many others. Their debut full length, "MAI", is slotted for release on November 30th, 2018 via Famined Records. Coming from the existing local music standards, their breaking and mixing of musical styles is not easily categorized. The group have an inclination toward experimental and progressiveness which further incite and stimulate the listener’s mind. All coming from their strong creative base. Dark Mirror Ov Tragedy, with their flashing musical sensibilities and outstanding song-writing pay close attention to their evolving course. The band name Dark Mirror Ov Tragedy is taken from the Middle-age prophet Nostradamus, who saw the through his mirror, a dark and cursed future. Like their name, the music is the combination of small pieces of echoing memories from their own life experiences carved together by going back and forth from the dark to the light. They conjure these sources with basic instruments such as guitar, bass, drums and keyboard with a natural combination of minor keys which fully express their eastern sentiments. Classical gothic music is the outstanding essence of Dark Mirror Ov Tragedy, with anguished vocals and brooding instruments performing chapters and poems which evoke nothingness and wholeness, darkness and daylight, beauty and ugliness!
