Fighter Records is proud to announce the signing of Ankhara, one of the most legendary Spanish Heavy Metal bands from he 90's, for the international release of their acclaimed 4th album "Sinergia", originally released for the Spanish market, and which will now be released with 3 bonus on CD and also limited vinyl version on 12 "LP.
Ankhara returned after fourteen years of recording silence presenting her 4th studio album "Sinergia". In this new album, the guys from Madrid recover the essence of their first two works in favour of an authentic and revamped sound, which tastes to Power and Hard Rock, but above all, Heavy Metal. A raw and straight album that some media have already stated to be "their most aggressive work to date"; in which the voice of Pacho Brea is reminiscent of "Rob Halford or Ripper Owens"; and with the guitar solos of Cecilio and Alberto being described simply as "epic". The power of the double bass drum by Matt de Vallejo and the elegance of Sergio's bass is also said to complete "a rounded disc".
"Sinergia" has been recorded by a lineup close to the original, in which Matt de Vallejo (037 Leo, Zero3iete) replaces Jesús Alcalde. Guitars and vocals have been recorded at José Rubio's Meiga Sound Studios (José Andrëa and Uróboros, ex-Warcry); drums at Andy C.'s Cadillac Blood (Lords of Black, ex-Saratoga, ex-Dark Moor) and the bass at Mojo Road. The mixing and mastering have been made at Cube Madrid by Alberto Seara (Sôber, Mägo de Oz) and the cover is the work of Fernando 'Nanderas'.
International release date for Ankhara's "Sinergia" will be 18th of September 2019 through Fighter Records on CD & 12"LP formats. The legendary Spanish Doom Metal band Golgotha, have just signed a deal with Xtreem Music for the release of their long-awaited 4th album, 14 years after their previous album "New Life", released in 2005. This new album has just been recorded and it's in the process of being mixed, with its launch planned for the next month of October.
Golgotha emerged in 1992 from the union between its two legendary original members: the guitarist Vicente Payá (UNBOUNDED TERROR) and the vocalist Amón López, who are still the alma mater of the band with the new drummer Tomeu Crespí. The 1st EP "Caves of Mind" was indeed the 1st release of Repulse Records, previous label to Xtreem Music, which closes the circle 25 years later!
The new album, which will contain 8 tracks in the vein of his 1st album "Melancholy", is being recorded and mixed in the Psychosomatic Recording Studio by producer Miguel Angel Riutort "Mega", and the band plans to launch a crowdfunding campaign one month before the official release, where they will offer a series of limited editions on CD, vinyl and T-shirts, which will be announced in due time. Golgotha plans to offer a series of live performances to present the new album after its release.
In addition to the official Facebook site, www.facebook.com/GolgothaOfficialBand, Golgotha is premiering today their new official website www.golgothaofficial.com where all the information regarding the band is concentrated. Soon we will reveal details about the new album once the process of recording and design of the cover art is completed.

Spanish Melodic Death Metallers SynlakrosS have published their new video 'Fatal Frame' back on May 30th. This single is the second of their latest work 'Malice Murder', which was released on 18th October 18, 2018.
The band already announced that this new work has damned souls that can’t escape from hell as inspiration, and they have captured this essence in this song and video, which is a descent into hell. This is the darkest work of SynlakrosS so far. The song hasa frantic rhythm and a catchy melody that tells us the story and the pain of a tormented soul, a young girl caught in terror who seeks her brother to escape with him, but it is impossible, they are in hell.
An explosive theme, with strong rhythms, with Melodic Death Metal base but with the characteristic personal touch of the band.
The video was made by Sergio Mangas Murcia and Bárbara Navarro Soler, the team that made their video 'Colony'; has gathered more than a million and a half views, being the most watched video of 2018 from a Spanish Metal band.
They have depicted the atmosphere of the theme through very careful photography, as well as
costumes and props that come to life thanks to a good acting cast.

The audio has been produced and edited by Facundo Novo (Novo Estudios), who produced the third album of the band.
Spanish technical death metal masters Wormed are now releasing the brand new track and details of their upcoming EP 'Metaportal'. The EP is set for worldwide release on July 19, 2019. The new sci-fi offering 'Remote Void' is now streaming via the official Season of Mist Youtube Channel at the link below which can be freely spread.
Link: - https://youtu.be/9TwlPMrQYQ8
Wormed commented on the track:
"Entering the Metaportal. A nano technological war has been unleashed in the void to defeat the last sower of human life, Krighsu. In a desperate attempt to help a galactic system in danger, Krighsu must access the vast Metaportal, what he doesn't know yet is the reason for its existence."
Out of respect for drummer G-Calero, who recently passed away, the photo above is the latest of the band.
Space – the final frontier. Yet, when Wormed reach out into the void, the results sounds far more like a dark space opera inhabited by bizarre aliens, genetically and technically evolved meta-humans struggling for power and survival in galactic empires. Now, the nano-technological war has been unleashed in the void to defeat the last sower of human life, Krighsu!
Odd-time signatures, avalanches of breaks and complex rhythmical as well as melodic patterns will excite every aficionado of extreme technicality, while growls down-tuned strings and double-bass assaults will more than satisfy extreme metal connoisseurs. While being outstandingly skilled musicians Wormed are avoiding any self-indulgent show of prowess for its own sake. Instead the five-piece from Madrid clearly lays its emphasis on creating atmospheric songs, which develop and grow along the underlying story.
Originating from Spain's capital Madrid in 1998, Wormed immediately made an impact in the death metal scene with the release of their 'Floating Cadaver in the Monochrome' MCD (1999). Following a promo CD under the title 'Voxel Mitosis' (2001), the first studio album 'Planisphaerium' received high acclaim by critics and fans alike in 2003. In the wake of their debut full-length, the Spanish received invitations to international festival shows and touring around the globe. Wormed performed in Japan alongside Goratory and Vomit Remnants and afterwards hit Europe with Malignancy and Despondency.
A creative hiatus, partly due to line-up changes and filled with re-issues of their previous released as well as the single 'Quasineutrality' (2010) finally ended, when their sophomore album 'Exodromos' came out in 2013. On their third full-length 'Krighsu' (2016), the fast-rising Spanish Sci-Fi tech death prodigies are telling a dystopian cosmic story with lyrics and music joined into an overarching concept. Its intense brutality, dissonant dynamic riffing, and tremendous heaviness combined with an amazing futuristic concept, which introduced the character Krighsu – last human in the cosmos, harvested top reviews and saw Wormed headlining in the US and co-headlining in Europe.
Now Wormed are ready to explore the cosmos even further by entering the 'Metaportal', while climbing to even more mind-blowing musical heights. Prepare to experience the universe in the light and sound of a new aeon dawning!

New Zealand Thrashers Alien Weaponry release "Ahi Kā" music video; currently touring North America, European tour this summer
Alien Weaponry have released the music video for their new single, "Ahi Kā", which premiered last week over at Billboard. The song represents the first new material from the New Zealand based metal trio since releasing their 2018 debut album, Tū. Fans can check out the music video for "Ahi Kā" via the link below. The track is also featured on Adult Swim's new, streaming-only compilation record Metal Swim 2.
Alien Weaponry's singer-guitarist Lewis de Jong talks about "Ahi Ka" (Which, like many of the band's songs, is sung in New Zealand's indigenous language of Te Reo Māori):-
"Ahi Kā was inspired by the Auckland city council's decision to burn down what was considered to be the unsightly indigenous Maori village of Okahu Bay in advance of Queen Elizabeth II's 1953 visit. The eviction sparked a 40-year battle for the native Ngati Whatua to reclaim their land, including protests and battles with the police. Amid worldwide criticism, a small portion of the original land was ultimately returned with an apology and some compensation."
Watch "Ahi Ka" HERE
"Ahi Kā" is available for streaming and purchase through Spotify and iTunes (respectively) over HERE!
Fans and music critics alike have applauded the band's approach to unifying Te Reo Māori (the native language of New Zealand) with thrash metal sensibilities; ultimately creating a sound that is driven by emotionally and politically charged conflict while boasting youthful, warrior-like resilience.
Both Lewis and Henry are of Ngati Pikiāo and Ngati Raukawa (Māori tribal) descent, and began their schooling at a kura kaupapa Māori (full immersion Māori language school) where singing waiata (songs) and performing haka were a daily routine. Also ingrained in their early education were stories of New Zealand history told to them by their father, who would also introduce them to the music of Metallica, Rage Against the Machine, Anthrax, Ministry, Red Hot Chili Peppers and many others.
Alien Weaponry was formed in 2010 by brothers Lewis (vocals & guitar) and Henry de Jong (drums), who were 8 and 10 years old at the time. The two would later move to the small town of Waipu in 2012, and went on to meet Ethan Trembath (bass) there in 2013. The de Jong brothers came up with the name Alien Weaponry after watching the film District 9.
Alien Weaponry have also been nominated for "Best International Breakthrough Band" at the 2019 Heavy Music Awards (UK). The event takes place on August 22nd at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London. Fan voting is now open at https://vote.heavymusicawards.com/ until June 27th.

The legendary Spanish death metal band Unbounded Terror have just signed a contract with Xtreem Music for the release of their long-awaited second album, 27 years after their legendary debut, Nest of Affliction released in 1992 by the pre-Xtreem Music label Drowned Productions. This new album is in the process of composition, having planned its recording for this summer and will be released during the autumn of this year.
Unbounded Terror is one of the most legendary Spanish death metal bands, having the honor of releasing the first national death metal album on vinyl LP as well as CD and cassette. After two more demos in '92 and '93, the band split up, seeing as its leader, guitarist Vicente Payá, forming Golgotha. In 2011, Xtreem Music re-released on CD Nest of Affliction along with all its demos and is now, at the beginning of 2019, when Vicente Payá decided to reform the band and continue that indelible legacy of death metal in its purest form.
In the new line-up of Unbounded Terror, Vicente Payá will combine his work on guitar with also vocalist, alternating with Albis, also guitar/ voice and accompanied by Andrew on bass and Portas on drums. With this new line-up, the band will record the new album this summer and will offer its first live show in 25 years at the next edition of the Iberian Warriors Metal Fest on the third day of the festival that will take place on September 29th in Zaragoza with Pestilence, the legendary Spanish blackers Ouija, and Legacy of Brutality. In future statements, we will confirm details about the new album, but it seems that Juanjo Castellano will take over the cover art and Dan Swanö will be mixing and mastering.
Spain's best kept secret, Hex, return with a pummelling new full length of death/doom metal music with unconventional riffing and delivery. This is mid-paced death/doom metal that is reminiscent of early Runemagick, Bolt Thrower, Paradise Lost, Hypocrisy and Unleashed. But there's more than meets the eye, as the music is interspersed with exotic riffing, female vocals, interludes and even breakdowns. There's a certain appeal to their music that makes it stand out from the derivative lot as this doesn't owe too much to any particular style or band. It's a cohesive fusion of various influences melded into a sound that Hex can now call their own. With members of experienced bands in the line-up such as Virulency, Tomb, Incursed, to name a few, the outcome is simply phenomenal. The fiercely titled release 'God Has No Name' will go down as the breakthrough album for the band and perhaps even the whole of the current death/doom style with the band's innovative and thoughtful approach towards it.

Spanish black metal cult Deathwomb premiere the new track "Moloch's Domain" at heavily trafficked web-portal NoCleanSinging.com. The track hails from the band's striking debut album, Moonless Night Sacraments, set for international release on April 19th via Iron Bonehead Productions. Hear Deathwomb's "Moloch's Domain" in its entirety exclusively HERE.
Deathwomb are ancient black metal personified. Theirs is a sound at odds with the modern world, brewed in the cauldron of simpler, more idealistic, and most definitely more underground times. With but a four-song demo from 2017 as their previous recording, this power-trio proves their Satanic worth with their first full-length, Moonless Night Sacraments.
Ever aptly titled, Moonless Night Sacraments conjures the lycanthropic spirit of '90s black metal's crudest proponents, lurking largely in Finland, North America, and Brazil. Doubtlessly physical in their profane ruminations, it'd be a gross misnomer to label Deathwomb as "bestial," at least in the more post-millennial definition. Rather, the swarming, oft-swampy surge they employ across Moonless Night Sacraments - suffused with mystical synth, most crucially - bears aesthetic kinship with '90s Demoncy, Havohej, and Black Funeral, early Mystifier, and of course, Beherit's landmark Drawing Down the Moon. Naturally, Deathwomb strive to add to this (un)hallowed canon rather than merely replicate it, so authentic is their (unholy) passion.
As modern life justifiably grinds to a halt, time stands still as Deathwomb offer you Moonless Night Sacraments...partake at your own peril. Continue partaking with the new track "Moloch's Domain" exclusively HERE, courtesy of NoCleanSinging.com. Begin partaking with the previously revealed "The Ancient Serpent" HERE at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud.
