Spanish modern melodic death metallers SynlakrosS have just released a new single called "The Last Day Of Eris", a song included in their new album "0K4M1" which will be released internationally very soon.

The title of this new album is formed by the acronym 0M4K1, whose pronunciation in English is
Zero Em Four Kei One. "The Last Day Of Eris" is the third song on the album and talks about the last day of the planet Eris. It’s a suicide mission to which 0K4M1 has been assigned to try to save the planet from destruction... but the mission failed and 0K4M1 felt the pain, the suffering, the destruction and the deaths as if they were his own.

The video has been created by Patricia Pons, vocalist of the band, and the music by Facundo Novo
at Novo Studios. About this new album the band published on the networks:

“The album is a message sent by creature 0K4M1, and you are the one who receives this message to millions of light years away. Like a message in a bottle. At the end of the listening, you should choose if you want to keep it a secret, or if you want to share it with others. And who is 0K4M1? 0K4M1 is a creature created by humans from a synthetic embryo and alien DNA. Created to be a lethal weapon, the new antichrist. Before dying, he decides to record his vital experience and share it with everyone who receives this message. Because maybe your experience can alleviate the existential pain and suffering of the listener."

They have also released new merchandising thinking about winter and the people who are isolated or quarantined at home, including items such as blankets in their store. They also have advanced some elements of the pre-sale of the album. If you like their work, don’t hesitate to support them by buying their merch here: https://store23164244.ecwid.com/

SynlakrosS is characterized by its thematic albums based on Melodic Death Metal to which they
add various inspirations, developing a very personal style, both in the musical base, and in the diversity of voices that Patricia interprets. Highly recommended, they have played with bands like Jinjer, The Agonist and Primal Fear, and have played in venues and festivals in Spain, Portugal, England and Wales.

Spanish Melodic Death Metallers Bloodhunter to re-release their debut self-titled album; including bonus EP

Picture

Spanish Melodic Death Metal band Bloodhunter will re-release their debut self-titled album from 2014 on July 3rd 2020 (Digital) and September 4th 2020 (CD). The re-release will include bonus EP - "Live in Madrid (2020)"!

Band comments about the re-issue:

Diva Satanica:

"Bloodhunter was my first studio recording as a vocalist. It was a hard process during which I learned a lot and for that I'm especially fond of it. When we realized that physical copies were selling out, we started to think of the idea of making a reissue further on, as a gift to the fans, and that's how this reissue came up, with new artwork by Gustavo Sazes and 6 live bonus tracks from the concert we played in Madrid last year.
"

Daniel Luces:

"Bloodhunter, our first album, will always hold a special place in our hearts. The experience in the studio with our engineer Pedro was eye opening, and I personally learned a lot from him that shaped me both as a bass player and a sound engineer, which consequently spilled over to our second album when we took most of the engineering duties on our own hands. When considering the idea of a reissue with a new cover and layout, we decided to use the tracks from the live show we recorded in Madrid in March 2019, which I think makes a great contrast in showing where we were as a band in 2014 compared to 2019 with a second album and several big festivals under our belt. We hope everyone enjoys the new design and the bonus tracks, and maybe it also gives new fans the chance to rediscover our early work!
"

Dani Arcos:

"We have been thinking about reissuing our first album for a while, as it has been sold out since 2015, but we didn’t want to just release it again, so we tried to record a couple of shows in order to add some live bonus tracks to this reissue. We usually have positive comments from our fans saying they love our live shows, so this is a compensation for their support in these hard moments.
We have very good memories when we were recording this album with Pedro Mendes in Braga (Portugal). There were many changes in Bloodhunter since we recorded this album, but the core of the band remains the same."

Bloodhunter is an extreme metal band born in Galician lands (Spain) in 2008 from the hand of sole founding member and main songwriter, Dani Arcos. After several changes in their line-up and concept, Diva SatanicaATANICA joins the band in 2009, whose guttural vocal assault helped drift the band into more extreme territories.

Their self-titled full-length album is released in May 2014, produced by Daniel Cardoso and Pedro Mendes at Ultrasound Studios. Eleven tracks that include updated versions of the 3 songs already present in the demo, as a result of a journey from the instinct that expresses the essence of this band: its versatility.

This album has been distributed physically in many countries around the world such as Japan, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Spain, Portugal, UK, Germany, Sweden, France, among others.

Later, the band would open for bands like Hemdale (USA), Holy Moses (Germany), Avulsed (Spain), Ancient Rites (Belgium), Rise to Fall (Spain) and Aposento (Spain), before joining Nightrage (Sweden) and Methedras (Italy) on their first week-long Spanish trek called "THE BLOODY TOUR".

Diva Satanica participates in the TV Show “THE VOICE”, surprising the coaches by singing screaming and growling, being the first contestant to perform this type of singing. The international artist Juanes chooses her to be part of his team, where she performed songs like “SWEET DREAMS”, “EYE OF THE TIGER” or Lady Gaga’s “BAD ROMANCE”.

During 2020, Bloodhunter released a reissue of their first album with a new artwork. This reissue included 6 live bonus tracks recorded in Madrid during THE TOUR OF FAITH (2018-2019). Since beginning of 2020, DIVA SATANICA is also the new vocalist of the Brazilian band NERVOSA.

The band is currently recording their 3rd full-length album.

In anticipation of their long-awaited new album, Euphonic Entropy, Diabulus In Musica soars higher than ever before with the release of their newest single “One Step Higher”. The diverse and emotional song merges all the characteristics of the group’s sound. Electronic interludes, choral chants and heavier guitar-based sections create a captivating soundscape of self-discovery and confidence.

A lyrical call for freedom and determination, “One Step Higher” beautifully showcases both sides of Diabulus In Musica’s musical personality – the darker, daring one, and the one of ambitious visionaries striving relentlessly towards their goals. The track tells the story of the persisting search of one’s ambitions and exploring the unknown through the poetic prism of dreams. Similar to other tracks from Euphonic Entropy, Diabulus In Musica highlights the importance of faith in our own abilities and intuition in regard to the challenge of changing the world and fulfilling our own dreams.

Singer Zuberoa Aznárez comments:

““One Step Higher” is a bright look to the future, a song about personal growth and about embracing new stages of life with thrill. Despite the obstacles, our path is about overcoming them and finding the light again, making us stronger and wiser.”

Euphonic Entropy is Diabulus In Musica’s fifth studio album and their fourth to be released via Napalm Records. The band is back with their heaviest album to date and continue their way to the top while still retaining their roots. Such a positive view on daily hardships does not only make Euphonic Entropy a personal odyssey into their own experiences, but also a thoughtful lesson, showing the listener that even obstacles can bring us closer to our final goal, no matter how unreachable and intimidating they might have seemed at the very beginning.

Pre-Order The New Album Euphonic Entropy NOW!

Sometimes life itself can be the most beautiful inspiration for an artist. Diabulus In Musica singer Zuberoa Aznárez and her husband, keyboardist Gorka Elso, decided to fill their new album, Euphonic Entropy, with all the wonderful, yet chaotic emotions a new life brings. Diabulus In Musica’s fifth and fully self-produced album mirrors the changes and blossoming beauty in the lives of the two band leaders after the birth of their second child and melts everything into thunderous and highly passionate symphonic metal. The album is bursting with power ballads, beautiful melodies and emotions. Songs like the infectious and ultra-melodic “Otoi” (featuring lyrics in Basque language) bewitch the listener’s senses. The intoxicating “The Misfit's Swing” and the harmonic, soaring “One Step Higher” ensure a multi-faceted and thrilling adventure!

Spanish Symphonic Metallers Diabulus In Musica unveil new single & lyric video "The Misfit's Swing"

17/1/2020

[ Photo Credit: Edu Sanz ]

Travel through time and dance to the rhythm of “The Misfit’s Swing” with the second powerful single from Diabulus In Musica’s upcoming album, Euphonic Entropy, out on February 14 via Napalm Records! An anthem for those abandoned and misunderstood, “The Misfit’s Swing” – was musically inspired by the swing-fever of the 1930s. It takes the listener into the mind of the titular outcast, who rejects the conformist norms and instead attempts to embrace their own uniqueness. Despite the struggles the misfits face every day, they still strive for freedom from compromises and judging glances, aiming at appreciation of these personal differences and realization of self-worth.

This emotional break-through, depicted on both a textual and instrumental level, unfolds as well in the space of the accompanying lyric video. Just as in the case of the dance itself, the audiovisual melodic charm of “The Misfit’s Swing” dwells in the past, with sepia colour palettes and vintage interiors. Smoothly referring to the cover and sublime musical atmosphere of the upcoming release, the lyric video is, at the same time, a gift for and a homage to the fans. Not only does it include the footage of them dancing to “The Misfit’s Swing”, but, just as the song itself, it furthermore addresses the reassuring feeling of collectivity among individuals isolated from the outer world.

With their second single, Diabulus In Musica convince the listeners that their life among other people may resemble a dance in many aspects – and that there is no better way to go through it confidently than to the sounds of “The Misfit’s Swing”.

Singer Zuberoa Aznárez comments:-

“Here comes “The Misfit's Swing", the song for you all, unique people! Who hasn't felt that they don’t   fit in with the rest of society for at least once in their life? Most of us have surely been the object of critics at some point. Sadly, we live in a world where the lack of respect and the fear of other people’s opinions limit us as individuals (personally, artistically...), so... Dance for the time being, to live and let live! Special thanks to all the lovely and brave fans who took part in this lyric video!”
