Israeli Melodic Metallers Desert have released the first single from their anticipated 2019 album.
Check out 'Fortune Favors The Brave' here:- http://bit.ly/FFTB_Video
The title track "Fortune Favors The Brave" reveals the new sound of Desert - raw War Metal vehicle propelled by twin-guitar engines, steered by crunchy vocals, and firing blazing-fast drums, assembled in a virtuoso performance - the Israeli are taking no prisoners this time!
The first single delivers a call for gender equality through the story of legendary WW2 air-force ace, with a comic-strip animated video, both very unusual for the genre.
The video graphics were drawn by the amazing Italian artist Federico Mondelli (Frozen Crown, Be The Wolf ).
Produced/recorded/mixed/mastered by Alex Zvulun in A.G. Studio, Tel Aviv, Israel.
The new album 'Fortune Favors The Brave' will be available on July 30th worldwide on digipak CD and all streaming platforms.
Debut full-length 'Sands Of Time' featuring guest performances by members of Cyhra (ex-Amaranthe) and Orphaned Land to be released on May 24; group to perform at major European festivals this summer
M-Theory Audio is proud to announce the signing of Israel's leading progressive metal band, Scardust. The label will reissue the group's acclaimed full-length debut, “Sands of Time,” on May 24 on limited-edition double vinyl (the album's first-ever LP release), digital and compact disc.
The “Sands of Time” reissue precedes major summer festival performances by the band – the UK's Ramblin' Man Fair, where they will perform on the Prog In The Park stage alongside Riverside, Pain of Salvation and Anathema, and at Slovenia's week-long Metaldays, which also features the likes of Dream Theater, Arch Enemy and Demons & Wizards, as well as Taihu Midi Festival in Suzhou near Shanghai, China May 4th.
Mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend, BTBAM) and featuring cover art by Drake Mefestta (Cradle of Filth, Michael Romeo, Devilment), “Sands of Time” was originally self-released. Check out the band’s lyric video for the title track to get an idea of the grandeur, melody and power https://youtu.be/_d2KMTPampI
The new CD reissue will include a bonus acoustic piano demo of the brand-new song “Mist,” while the new gatefold double-LP edition will include the group's 2015 debut EP “Shadow” in its entirety on Side D – the first time that release has been offered on vinyl as well. Both physical formats can be pre-ordered at this location (www.m-theoryaudio.com/store).
“We are very excited to be working with M-Theory Audio, whose philosophy of co-operation between artists mirrors our own. It's great to have the 'Sands of Time' CD released globally, and the pressing of a double vinyl LP which will include our EP 'Shadow' is something that would have been impossible for us to do as an independent band. Signing with M-Theory, as well as working on new material and preparing for summer festivals, makes us feel that the future looks very bright for us, and we can't wait to bring our epic experience to new crowds and new heights.” says SCARDUST vocalist Noa Gruman.
Scardust who have previously performed alongside the likes of Symphony X, Therion and Epica – will next perform live in Tel Aviv, Israel on April 11.
Noa Gruman - vocals
Yadin Moyal - guitar
Yanai Avnet - bass guitar
Yoav Steel Weinberg - drums

Israel's Dim Aura premiere "Black Heretic Hate" via No Clean Singing, taken from upcoming album 'The Triumphant Age of Death'
Israeli black metal misanthropes Dim Aura will release their sophomore album, The Triumphant Age of Death, on March 22nd under the banner of Saturnal Records. As the first taste of the album, the band is currently streaming the third track "Black Heretic Hate" exclusively via No Clean Singing.
CD will be available for pre-order in the mid/late February.
"Mercy is a foreign concept in this track, and sometimes that’s exactly the kind of catharsis we need.." — No Clean Singing comments on the single, Black Heretic Hate.
"'Black Heretic Hate' is a track depicting an onslaught on organized religion" — proclaims the band.
Stream the track exclusively via No Clean Singing, AT THIS LOCATION
Hailing from Tel Aviv, Dim Aura was stormed into the scene in 2010 as a quattro of black metal nihilists who have remained musically chained together since the inception of the group. After the EP “R.U.S.T." and a slew of live annihilations and studio sessions, the Israeli misanthropes unfurled their debut album "The Negation of Existence" in 2013.
Dim Aura presented their terror manifestation in the foreign soil by appearing at Meh Suff! Metal-Festival 2014 and Steelfest 2015. Locally, they shared stage with Bölzer, Trepaneringsritualen, Necrophbic, aside from playing at other numerous local festivals.
2017 saw the arrival of their first 7" EP “Negged”, driving the bands compulsory urges towards their forthcoming sophomore album.
The Dim Aura pact is sealed and concealed, with no way in and no way out. Through the past decade the pact has always been active, always conjuring, always terrorizing and never resting – and this torment of humanity is now made an alliance with Saturnal Records for the upcoming full-length, The Triumphant Age of Death, with an aim to beget a new era by spreading their vision, plague and terror ritual further upon mankind. Eschewing trends and mediocrities, the band is known for integrating various genres into their bleak and dismal Black Metal sound, ranging from old school punk to dark '80s and beyond. This album is no exception — a massive wall of sonic hatred.
Orphaned Land have an announcement to make regarding their latest album:-
"At first it was a huge crisis. "This is not our album, it's shit!" We said to our record label the first minute we saw this misprint copies (the misprint is at that lack of black where the white colour is at the guns and the all knowing eye). Immediate actions were made to take back copies from distributors and send corrected covers to the others and meanwhile the release date of the jewel case CD was delayed from Jan 26th to Feb 9th. Feb 9th came to earth, and still, doesn't matter how hard we tried, we received photos from shops that got the misprint version of our albums. At this point we have decided, "If you cannot beat them, join them". Then we figured out: "Wait a minute, we are Jews - if you cannot beat them - SELL THEM!" So, are there any collectors here who like to have those misprint versions of albums? this one is for you!"
Limited to a 100 signed copies only, at our www.orphaned-land.com/shop.html

Israel's Soul Enema launches animation video for "Eternal Child"; song features Ayreon's Arjen Lucassen
Israeli Prog band Soul Enema releases a new animation video for “Eternal Child,” taken from the brand new album Of Clans and Clones and Clownes. The video features visuals from world renowned sand animation artist Kseniya Simonova and the song includes guest appearance by Dutch Progressive Rock mastermind Arjen Lucassen on guitar.
Songwriter and keyboard player Constantin Glantz comments:
“‘Eternal Child’ was written at the last stage of the album recordings, almost like a flash of lightning coming out of nowhere. It literally took about 40 minutes to come up with the music and the basic lyrics, something that never happened so fast for me before. It’s almost like the song had written itself and all I had to do was document it quickly before it faded away. And this one really felt like it could be a great closing piece on the record, sort of a final missing part of the puzzle. Speaking of lyrics, I believe it captures, in particular, that slightly nostalgic feeling about everything that a grown person is bound to lose when childhood is over, and the rediscovery of the will to live and learn, to be flexible and curious about things again and again, to have those dreams and do whatever it takes to fulfil them.
I'd like to note that Noa [Gruman] has made a hell of a journey in vocal dynamics and range here — from very intimate verses to soaring, high range choruses. And it's obviously a great honour to feature Arjen Lucassen with a truly mesmerizing guitar solo contribution. When I was much younger, exploring these influential Ayreon records in the late ‘90s, I could only dream about such a collaboration becoming reality one day. Last but not least, special thanks to Kseniya Simonova — the world’s leading sand animation artist and inventor of original plastic animation techniques featured here. I'm a long time admirer of her art, it's very unique. She totally loved the track, and her masterful job is a great visual counterpart to the things we were trying to express musically and lyrically.”
Of Clans and Clones and Clownes was released on June 23, 2017. Featuring 70+ minutes of music, prime international guests, which include Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One), Yossi Sassi (Orphaned Land, solo), and mixed by the legendary Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Paradise Lost, etc.), the album enjoys great feedback and interest from the international Progressive Rock and Metal audience.

Heroes and villains are fighting the world in a mystic conspiracy thriller, coming from the factory of an Israeli Progressive band Soul Enema. "Spymania" is a part of a new album Of Clans and Clones and Clowns, released on June 23rd. A colourful and diverse 73-minute work features guest appearances from Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon) and Yossi Sassi (ex-Orphaned Land) and mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend).
"As it turns out, an evil reptilians from planet Nibiru came down to Earth, and they are very close to get the key to universal knowledge. The super-human powers of Batman and Chuck Norris stand on their way, but it turns out, that only something related to the world of music is able to save the human race. What is it? Watch out till the end!,” the band commented.
"We used some paintings of a brilliant modern Russian artist Vasya Lozhkin, who's a big phenomenon in his home country, but still not really known in the Western World yet,” says songwriter and keyboard player Constantin Glantz, adding,
“I must state that ‘Spymania' has some amusing background. The lyrics for this song were written way back in 2006, or maybe even earlier, and it features a kind of goofy, paranoid mock story about someone being mysteriously thrown down from the roof of Empire State Building, and seen too much things you ain't allowed to see, while flying down to the ground. So much, in fact, that this person was forcefully killed even before he naturally hit the ground. Fast forward to the year 2015, and guess what — suddenly we have a totally real conspiracy scandal taking place around the same Empire State Building during a big ecological happening, when some claimed there's Kali or Satan images projected on a building windows, as part of some mystic apocalyptic ritual! The Hell you know, indeed.”
