Belgian black death metal veterans Insanity Reigns Supreme have revealed a new live video for the track 'By The Blood of the Beast', which is taken from their latest studio album "Unorthodox" (out now on Shiver Records)! The video can be streamed through YouTube here (https://youtu.be/a9GCr7G0DJQ). It was recorded by Marleo Video at the prestigious Eindhoven Metal Meeting festival, which took place on December 16 & 17th of 2016 in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Editing came courtesy of Cloud Music Typography. Vocalist Tes Re Oth had the following to say about the song: “By The Blood Of The Beast details the ritual of Communion with the Undead Gods. Communion in this sense stands for actually trying to establish communication with those who have risen to reach the ultimate goal of joining them. In a live setting this is even more powerful, as we invite Them to join us and feast upon the energy that is freely given by us and the audience. In the end this was an experience that none who attended will forget.” "Unorthodox" - the fourth full length album from Belgian cult pact Insanity Reigns Supreme - marks a new chapter of total darkness in the already 25 year long career of the band. The follow-up to 2009’s renowned opus "Occultus Insanus Damnatus" excitingly combines furious black and death metal with the funeral grimness of doom, that continues to surprise and intrigue the listener in many ways. The duality of human nature and its macabre consequences form Unorthodox’s central theme. The album’s stunning artwork – designed by Septic Flesh frontman Seth Siro Anton – and haunting lyrics expose the beast that lives inside all of us. The slipcase version of the album further visualizes man’s grim reality with its two different covers, hidden details and subtle hints. "Unorthodox" was recorded at the Stage One Studios in Germany with Andy Classen, best known for his work with Belphegor, Legion of the Damned and Destruction. https://www.facebook.com/InsanityReignsSupreme?ref=br_tf

Foscor are now premiering the first track taken from their forthcoming fifth full-length. 'Les Irreals Visions' has been slated for release on June 9th. The Catalan melancholy metal experts are now streaming the song "Ciutat Tràgica" featuring Alan A. Nemtheanga from Primordial exclusively via the official premiere partners listed below. Rock Hard (DE) Rockzone (ES) Kaaoszine (FI) La Grosse Radio (FR) Rocking (GR) Lángoló Gitárok (HU) Metal Wani (IN) Andfari (IS) Metal Italia (IT) Lords of Metal (NL) Kvlt (PL) Antichrist Magazine (UA) Zero Tolerance (UK) Regarding the song premiere, Foscor comment: "Our premiere song 'Ciutat Tràgica' translates as 'tragic city' and it was admittedly also our original choice for the new album's opening track and title. In terms of lyrics, this record maps the collective interactions, weaknesses, and individual hopes of human beings in a city as a metaphor - amplifying the myths that we face. Life as such is represented by a maze of places, paths, wefts, and bounds that make us into who we are. After receiving the translation into photography, which Dutch artist Nona Limmen developed around our concept, for the album artwork, and its cover, we realized the bigger scale and wider connection that everything had with the Modernist Art period. Isolating the experience of hallucination to treat the ventures and misfortunes of the human being in a changing and distressed society, this magical place becomes a dreamlike landscape of extremes where we locate the scene and its reality. The first song premiered perfectly describes the emotional dimension of the nature of our music. Reminiscent of the 80's monochrome landscapes that we all have in mind, it offers the same intensity and vitality, which has always characterized us and that people hopefully find throughout this whole album. To work only with clean vocals and adding Catalan lyrics clearly mark a changing point for us. Last but not least, having Irish gentleman Alan A. Nemtheanga from Primordial performing vocals on this song makes it an even more special moment." Check out "A Should With A Must" in HD here After releasing one gut punch of a Full-length on December, 2nd of 2016, our Boys in As A Conceit are here with a live recorded session of "A Should with A Must" from the debut full-length album titled "Frown Upon Us". For fans of artists such as Architects and Northlane, these Progressive metallers administer a chilling dose of technicality laced with subtle melody, all the while without losing sight of the message these gents aim to deliver: anger, dismay but at the same time, a sliver of hope for the world we live in. And the timing for such feelings has never been more spot on. For any fan who enjoys technicality, ambiance and gut-wrenching vocals supported by a radical musical assault, or for anyone who's enjoyed the latest Architects albums, this is an album that should not be missed out on. The band gives us more detail into this single and how everything came together: "'A Should With A Must' is the last song off our last album 'Frown Upon Us'. This song is about our society in modern life; about being constantly pushed to be and to think what we are and what we think, day after day, in a never-ending brainwashing lead by mass media, governments and multinational corporations; about the personal struggle we all lead to not be defined by others and to find our own identities. We decided to film this live session because to us is one of the most fun and energizing songs to perform live, if not the most one, and because we think it encloses a meaningful message we should all regularly take some time to reflect upon." https://www.facebook.com/asaconceit Following a long stretch of radio silence, Portland, Oregon-based grindcore band Transient announces a revamped line-up, and plans of returning to both the stage and the studio in the months ahead. Following the 2013 release of their self-titled debut LP through Six Weeks Records and an extensive US tour, Transient took some time to realign their line-up and attack. Having replaced two members in recent months, vocalist Krysta Curry (formerly Martinez, also of Landmine Marathon) and guitarist Adam Wilson now welcome bassist Brandon Curry, and drummer, Justin Rodda, both new members also hailing from Endorphins Lost, who released their debut LP through Six Weeks in late 2016. Issues Transient on the status of the band, "We are really proud of the years that we've spent on this project. We love everyone who has helped bring the band to life at one time or another and continue to wish them all the best in their variegated endeavours. This Summer, Transient will emerge from hiding with new music and faces. Justin and Brandon bring with them tremendous abilities and will add a new depth and ferocity to our sound. Those that have had the privilege of watching them perform live know exactly how much infectious energy they'll bring. We're excited for what the future holds." Transient has also booked Earhammer Studios for the first week of September, where the band will work with Greg Wilkinson to record the follow-up to their debut LP. Shows in Seattle, Portland, and Oakland are being booked surrounding the recording sessions. Transient will continue working on their new material, and will make their live re-emergence at Northwest Terror Fest in June, joining Warning, Cephalic Carnage, Wolves In The Throne Room, Yob, Samothrace, and dozens more. Additional widespread touring from the band is imminent. It's something The Bunny The Bear's frontman, Matthew Tybor, has been doing for years while struggling with substance abuse. It was that struggle that inspired the new song, "I Am Free", which the band is proud to premiere the video for. The powerful lyrics of the song (This is the last time that I'll walk ashamed of my choices, this emptiness, feeding my future to flames. This is the day I will finally be free of these demons, addictions that keep me in chains. I am free) are extremely personal to Tybor as he is currently in recovery and is no longer using. He explains, "[substance abuse] can seem like a seeming endless struggle to overcome such demons. Booze, pills, whatever really. A huge bulk of society struggles with some, or all of the above, myself included. Sometimes you have no choice but to find that sliver of hope within all the despair." This video is special as the band shot footage on during shows in a few of their favourite cities and put together a live video for the second single off their upcoming Needful Things Records release "The Way We Rust". Tybor shares, "I couldn't be more stoked with how the video turned out. I hope our fans, old and new, enjoy this video as much as I do." "The Way We Rust" will be be out on March 17th and is available for pre-order now at Merchbucket.
