Italy's death metal band Manam has just unveiled the new lyric video "Total War", taken from the debut album "Rebirth of Consciousness" (Rockshots Records, 2018).
The video is available at the following link: https://youtu.be/lYLVAxqk6pg
Formed in late 2017 by the mastermind Marco Salvador, Manam creates a unique style that spaces on all the horizons of melodic death metal, changing from song to song and touching different genres, but always strictly bound to its main concept. Inspired by bands such as Wintersun, Opeth and Trivium, they create an immersive experience complete with custom stage clothes and decorations to go along with their mixing of extreme guitar melodies, power metal riffs, acoustic guitars, and powerful vocals (both clean and rough) supported by blasting and eclectic drums.
The album was produced by Marco Salvador and Marco Pastorino (Temperance), mixed and mastered by Michele Guaitoli (Visions of Atlantis, Overtures, Kaledon, Temperance), and released by Rockshots Records on November 23, 2018.

Finnish heavy metal sextet Battle Beast will release their fifth studio album No More Hollywood Endings, in just three weeks, on March 22, 2019 via Nuclear Blast Records. Today the band is unleashing another new track in the form of the tenacious and uplifting track 'Eden'. Watch the official music video for the second single, which was directed by Markus Nieminen and produced by Oy Routafilmi AB & Tuotantoyhtiö Legenda, here: youtu.be/_hzssKb9940
Guitarist Joona Björkroth states:-
"'Eden' was born about one year ago when I was going through an extremely bad period in my personal life. I wrote the song as a remembrance to myself that whatever life throws at you, there's light in the end. Many bad things people have in their lives are creations of their own mind and can be mended by letting go. The song is a sincere "f*** you!" to fear, pain... whatever it is that is holding you down!"
"Now remember what's inside, the warmth that made you smile, and rise up high, towards the golden sky, your Eden"

Norwegian black metallers Nordjevel reveal the new video "Amen Whores." The track hails from the band's highly anticipated second album, Necrogenesis, set for international release on March 29th via Osmose Productions. See & hear Nordjevel's "Amen Whores" video in its entirety HERE at Osmose's official YouTube channel.
Nordjevel, whose self-titled debut album was released on Osmose Productions to great critical acclaim three years ago, are back with a vengeance with Necrogenesis, an album which sees the band's core of founder and vocalist Doedsadmiral (Svartelder, Doedsvangr, Enepsigos) and bassist DzeptiCunt (ex-Ragnarok), being joined by Destruchtor (Myrkskog, ex-Morbid Angel) on guitars and backing vocals and Dominator (ex-Dark Funeral) on drums.
The new arrivals have enabled Nordjevel to expand its musical horizons and produce an album that promises to be more ferocious than its predecessor, as Doedsadmiral explains:-
"With the addition of Destruchtor and Dominator to the band's lineup, Nordjevel has never been so strong. Necrogenesis is a much darker and violent album. It is also more varied and mature, both musically and lyrically. We definitely did not want to get stuck in a rut and churn out an identikit version of our debut, and fortunately, we all felt that we wanted to go in the same direction, so we were all able to work together extremely well on the new songs. Having said that, Necrogenesis was a hard bastard of an album to complete, and at times, we felt that the universe was conspiring against us, so it became a very personal album for all of us."
To give fans a taste of what they can expect from Necrogenesis, Nordjevel have just released a new video for the track "Amen Whores," which can be seen in its entirety HERE at Osmose Productions' official YouTube channel. Also see the previously revealed video for opening track "Sunset Glow" HERE, also at Osmose's official YouTube channel. "Sunset Glow" has also been released as a single, and can be streamed or downloaded HERE at Osmose's Bandcamp.
Necrogenesis is set to hit the streets on Osmose Productions on March 29th in CD Jewel Case, Limited Edition CD Digipack (with bonus track), Limited Edition Double Gatefold Vinyl in Blood Red (with bonus track), Limited Edition Double Gatefold Vinyl in Black (with bonus track), Digital, and Limited Edition Audio Tape formats. Preorder info can be found HERE.
Recorded at Velvet Recording in Spydeberg, Norway, Necrogenesis was engineered by Nordjevel and Christer Krogh, and mixed and mastered by Patric Darkhyrys at his WSL Studios in France.
We all wade through archetypes. We all are archetypes. Distant echoes of a life both primeval and noble. To embrace these archetypes, to accept them not only as a part of life but as life itself is what some may call enlightenment, some peace of mind. Eluveitie call it 'Ategnatos'. And by using their longest ever gap between albums to gather momentum, they just forged their strongest album around it. 'Ategnatos' will be released on April 5th 2019 via Nuclear Blast.
Today, the band presents the first album trailer on YouTube. Check it and find out more about the concept and the lyrics of the upcoming album: https://youtu.be/JcoOZjwss0c
Recently, the band has released the title track as the debut single. The song can be heard and watched in the form of a music video over on YouTube. The music video was produced by the Polish company Grupa13 in January 2019 and can be seen here: https://youtu.be/BG6en2WyAsw

Recordings of 'Ategnatos' took place in their beloved New Sound Studio with their engineer of choice Tommy Vetterli. “Yet it was radically different as we only had four weeks to record this time around – as compared to the eight weeks we had for ‘Origins’.” By taking mixing duties to the skilled hand of renowned studio wizard Jens Bogren in his Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden, Eluveitie returned to the very spot where they mixed their now legendary 'Slania' album more than ten years ago.
With 'Ategnatos', the dedicated nine-piece not only worked with a real string quartet (a premiere!) and granted Fabienne Erni’s sublime mastery of the harp the room it deserved; they also undertook a holistic upgrade resulting in some of the most catchy, most aggressive or most epic tunes the Swiss Metal nobility has ever offered.
