Ukrainian metalcore outfit The Centuries has released a new music video and single titled, "Inside of Me" that features ex-Palisades member, Brandon Sidney. "The music video, directed by Alex Pimenov of Move Film, perfectly reflects the atmosphere of the song, along with elaborating the story with new details," says Vocalist, Eugene Lesnevsky.
"The song is based on the story of the inner struggle of a person, who got lost doubting himself and searching for the way out. Whom is he engaged with in his dialogue? Maybe it's himself responding? Or a close friend? Or maybe another unwitting witness? Everyone will hear their own story," describes, Lesnevsky.
Forming in late 2012, the band began experimenting their writing process before releasing their first stand-alone single, "Absolution" in 2014. Currently writing their debut full length with SJ Ocean (ex-Make Me Famous), the group plans to have it released later this year. Check out "Inside of Me" by streaming it via Revolver Magazine
"It was great working with these guys! Definitely have the potential to take over the US market. Keep your eye out for them!" - Brandon Sidney (ex-Palisades)

Iron Bonehead Productions have set August 5th as the international release date for Temple Nightside's highly anticipated second album, "The Hecatomb". For the last five years, main man IV has been pursuing a bleak 'n' oblique vision of Death Metal. Although rooted in the vast and vibrant Australian Black Metal scene, the mysterious IV invested the blackest of arts into ancient Metal of Death, initially self-describing Temple Nightside as "Ritualistic Death Metal Necromancy." And indeed, that was the root - and result - of the then-duo's massive debut album, "Condemnation", in 2013. But with last year's coveted split LP with comrades Vassafor - released to critical acclaimed by Iron Bonehead, and the line-up now expanded to a trio - the sound of Temple Nightside subtly began to morph into more atmospheric and more deeply cavernous shapes.
Alas, with Temple Nightside's line-up now a functioning a quartet, those shapes have arisen in the form of "The Hecatomb". Ever so aptly titled, "The Hecatomb" is lumbering, lurking menace and miasmatic dread dragged to the Beyond and back. It's tangibly still death metal in nature, but there's a certain sinister sensation that eludes conventionally metallic definition; its hulking plod gives way to bestial pulse and then evaporates into a smokestack-dense fog of frightening, palpable evil. The manner in which these nine tracks - three of which are concertedly dark-ambient "Commune" soundscapes - burst forth and then billow away suggest ritualistic disintegration...or more accurately, transcendence.
"A slow descent into Hell" is an oft-misused / abused appellation for sepulchral death metal, but it truly is done justice here. Abyssal sound devoted to and driven by death worship: Temple Nightside's "The Hecatomb" shall stand as a new golden pillar of fathomless morbidity. Hear the first foundation of that pillar with the track "Adrift in Sepulchral Entropy" exclusively at Iron Bonehead's Soundcloud HERE. Cover and track-listing are as follows:
Last week the Finnish Sensei's of ‘Samurai Metal’ released their third and highly anticipated album "Metsutan – Songs of the Void", and in honour of that the band unveiled an epic new music video for lead single 'Strike!'. "Metsutan – Songs of the Void" is a complex masterpiece, addictive from the get-go and has received critical acclaim by the metal media and has been cited on numerous occasions as a record poised to snatch top spots on many end of year lists. The band seamlessly fuse traditional Japanese instruments and atmospheres with Scandinavian melodic death making for a captivating listening experience throughout the album’s ten tracks.
On the days leading to the release of the album the band teamed up with the UK's Metal Hammer magazine to offer a full stream of the album and had been described as "a bombastic rush of balls-out heavy metal showboating, precise aggression, incisive melodies and, erm, several thick wodges of Samurai shtick."
"Metsutan - Songs of the Void" is out now via Redhouse FMP / Inverse Records.

Necronaut (noun); derived from the Greek words nekros (νεκρός), meaning "corpse" or "dead", and nautes (ναύτης), meaning "sailor". A person who experiments with near-death experiences in order to explore the underworld.
Necronautical (adj); of or pertaining to Necronautics or Necronauts.
Necronautical (band); A cluster of musicians using the medium of extreme blackened metal in order to disconnect from reality and to espouse the thought that true freedom of the spirit is found beyond the monotony of modern human existence.
Fittingly wearing the crown of thorns as the fourth inductees to the resurrected Cacophonous coven, Misanthropic Black Metal 4-piece Necronautical blur the barriers between fantasy and reality. Voyaging the treacherous waters of the underworld, they explore notions of the afterlife with their pummelling, virtuoso musicianship. Their colossal sophomore album "The Endurance At Night" is set for release 15th July on Cacophonous, and showcases a new energy and strength for British extreme music.
"Necronautical are delighted to become part of the Cacophonous family. We are humbled to appear on the same heritage-rich label that brought the world such great and influential bands as Cradle of Filth and the legendary Bal-Sagoth, and proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our brothers in The Infernal Sea, The King is Blind and Old Corpse Road at the forefront of UK Black Metal.
Our upcoming album 'The Endurance at Night' will leave listeners battered and raw; awestruck by the brutality and power inherent in the universe, interpreted herein as a salvo of scathing blasts, screeching melodies and churning riffs. We're very excited to show the world what we've been working on, and can't wait to showcase the new album on stage in the Autumn this year.” - Anchorite, Bass
