Welsh Metalcore mob Rosen Bridge release ‘Brand New’ video; single taken from recent sophomore EP9/6/2017 North Wales Metalcore quintet Rosen Bridge are pleased to unveil their striking new video for single ‘Brand New’ here. Vocalist Antony Jones reveals of the track: “It is about appreciating what you have and being thankful for the people that support you. When you're in a negative spiral it's really hard to realise the little things that people may be doing to help you. Reflectively, it can make you feel better by being thankful and taking steps towards a positive mindset.” Shot at Manchester's Brunswick Mill studios with Matty Daley of Clearway Media, the visuals and energy change as the song gets heavier. The track is taken from their May sophomore release ‘Dreamcatcher’, available to stream here and for digital download via major platforms. Rosen Bridge, completed by Eddie Edwards and Marcus Williams on Guitar, Rowan Jack on Drums and William Roberts on Bass duties, are named after a synonym for worm holes. As a somewhat tongue-in-cheek reference, they class themselves as ‘spiritually driven metal’, which ultimately boils down to wanting to spread a message of positivity, something often not found in heavy music. “Our music is heavily influenced by our experiences in battling mental health issues. We want to motivate people to talk to us and each other and share their own experiences. We want people to be inspired to move against their pain and be the best person that they can be. We have all had experiences with living through highs and lows and the music that has inspired us in these times is the music that motivates us to change for the better,” comments Jones. Serving as the follow-up to debut ‘Entropy’, ‘Dreamcatcher’ saw the band set out with the aim of creating a record that would “make people feel great”. Laying down the release with John Mitchell at Outhouse Studios, the members slept in one van and commuted to the studio each day, ready to give it their all. The outcome is comparable to a blend of Issues, Volumes & Northlane, with the band explaining: “It tries to focus more on keeping a consistent groove, with the soulful vocal hooks from the first EP. It’s about overcoming obstacles and chasing what your goals are. Creating this record has essentially been a collective purge of emotions for us. It could have easily been a very dark record but the music & the experience of creating it with each other has been the positive driving force to help us find our feet and out of that negative space. We hope then that if it has achieved this for us, it can also be a catalyst of hope for other people.”

Formed in the year 2000 as a studio project and then as a regular live-band six years later, Devilish Impressions from Poland is a dominant Black Death metal band that’s quickly pummelling through the genre and making their way to fans and media around the globe. After already having released their 2012 third studio album “Simulacra” with Lifeforce Records we are very happy to welcome back Devilish Impressions to the Lifeforce Records roster for the release of their new album “The I”, which is set to come out in late September. “I’m thrilled to work with Devilish Impressions again to hopefully push the band to the next level. The guys in the band are dedicated hard workers. They know exactly what they want, what is needed to reach their goal and their new album is very big step forward musically. I truly believe we can turn some heads with “The I”! - comments Lifeforce Records owner Stefan Lüdicke. The title chosen, “The I”, for the record is not only a phonetic acronym of the band’s name, but above all it reflects the manifesto they stand for since the Horde’s inception in the year 2000 – the notion of freedom of choice and will. A supremacy of an individual over any external factors being imposed on us by others, with special emphasis on religion and its convictions, dogmas and paradigms. “The I” is a rebellious manifesto targeted against all those who stand opposed to anything that drives us towards individual perfection. "The I" is out September 2017. Visit and "like" the band's Facebook page and stay tuned about latest news and live shows. Hungary's Ghost Toast released their critically acclaimed third album "Out Of This World" today June 7th 2017 via Finnish Inverse Records. Listen to the album on Spotify: http://spoti.fi/2sdO83N OR Youtube: http://bit.ly/2ryimgK Ghost Toast is an instrumental, experimental progressive rock band from Debrecen, Hungary, formed in 2008. They love heavy, trippy music and film scores as well, so they use these elements to create their own unique music. Their music video Gordius is available here: http://bit.ly/2qaDpni The songs on Out Of This World are connected by a loose concept - a connection between fantasy and some mythological themes. Ka Mai means a pawn of fate (see title of the last track) and refers to Stephen King's Dark Tower saga. It does not directly refer to the novels (though we believe that the mixed mood sets and theatrical elements match it very well), it's rather the words themselves and their meaning which grabbed us and suited the concept. Gordius is the most complex item on the album, the name derives from this fact and human complexity, and this was the basic idea that the projected images shown in the video were applied on. Alia got the name from the character in Frank Herbert's Dune, the speech samples originate from the TV miniseries. She is a tragic character who turns into a monster, a severely troubled mind trapped in a little girl's body. The Dragon's Tail is our first attempt to create a movie score without an actual movie behind it. The title is somewhat of a pun, but the dragon represents the world of fantasy into which the music tries to teleport the listener. Minotaur is a half-chill out, half-pounding song, this duality represented by the title also, perfect for a some labyrinth rambling. Kaia is based on a sample from an American a capella singers' band called Kaia - it is a Finnish children's song ("Kaiababies"). The name Kaia also means "from the earth" or "pure" in Greek, and "sea" in Hawaiian. Last Man was inspired by the novel I Am Legend by Richard Matheson, and two movie adaptations (Last Man on Earth and Omega Man), the speech samples are from these movies as well. We tried to represent the dramatic mood of the story, gradually built up from beginning to end. Ishvara is our first song which was basically created on demand. One of our friends' Indian dance group asked us to create a rather modern song - one that they can still perform their traditional dance moves on. Ishvara can mean supreme soul, ruler, lord, king, queen or husband, God, Supreme Being, personal god, or special self. Pawn of Fate (one who has hope but no real choices) is the grand finale and farewell of the album, the background was already elaborated at the Ka Mai part. Hailing from Finland, Blooming Carrions were formed in 2014 by EvM, with the aim to create dark and twisted death metal. And indeed, that's exactly the band does on the aptly titled Sparkling Rotten Dreams. Its mildew and rot can be felt upon first whiff, and its stench twists and malforms the further the demo goes on. In fact, the twisted 'n' idiosyncratic cover art perfectly encapsulates this first exposure to Blooming Carrions: lysergic and laconic one moment, bestial and bilious another, all wrapped together in a sort of illogical logic, bleeding fever dreams into the listener's psyche. As a first recording, Sparkling Rotten Dreams is both stand-alone statement and suggestion of further fathomless depths to come. Three decaying hymns of etheric visions about death and destruction: this is Blooming Carrions' Sparkling Rotten Dreams. Formed in 2000 by a group of young underground metal heads, Tarantist originated in the basement alternative rock and heavy metal scenes in their native Tehran, Iran. Having to perform secretly-but-loudly often proved to be difficult, but after sparking a following via word of mouth in the underground, the band soon began to garner international recognition. Within just a few years, international media correspondents inspired by their story (including BBC, SKY, CNN, NPR, Metal Hammer and Kerrang) started visiting Tehran to meet and talk with Tarantist. These news reports and articles aided Tarantist in cultivating a worldwide following - motivating the band to relocate to the United States Los Angeles in 2008. Although remaining positive, Tarantist quickly found that they weren't able to fully escape the pressures they faced back home, stemming from "not being Muslim enough". Once they arrived in the United States, they experienced opposite - uncomfortable stereotypes and assumptions directed at them simply based on their culture and/or how they looked - all the while never practising religion in the first place. Determined, Tarantist didn't let this slow them down. After growing some roots in North America, the band was invited to play several festivals like SXSW, CMJ, Canadian Music Week and Intergalactic Fest. Tarantist quickly added to their touring repertoire, performing on the same stages as Metallica, Motörhead, Stone Temple Pilots, Muse, Cheap Trick, Voivod, Sum 41, My Ruin, Ben Harper and many more. After releasing three full length albums, an EP and several singles, Tarantist is pleased to announce the release of their new full-length album, Not A Crime, out now via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, Spotify and all other digital retailers. You can listen to a track from the album, "Rain, Pour Down", here: https://youtu.be/IZ0C0voT0y4 Similar to what their name suggests (tarantism is defined as a mania characterized by an uncontrollable impulse to dance, popularly attributed to the bite of the tarantula), Tarantist's music is energetic and keeps the listener moving and headbanging, incorporating a true heavy metal sound mixed with exotic, Iranian flavour. The band's lyricism focuses on themes of anti-extremism, anti-corporate system, human rights and support thereof - including women's rights, religious rights, and freedom of expression in the arts. Bassist / vocalist Arash says, "Instead of writing and singing in English like we usually do, for Not A Crime, we decided to sing/write in Farsi because we felt we need to pay our dues to the Farsi-speaking community and make history with something like this. The kids of Iran (like everywhere else) are being brainwashed by the propaganda and state media. We feel the new generation needs a fresh and uncensored source of awareness, un-diluted music and content, and original material. With this album, we aim to raise awareness regarding human rights issues/violations, freedom of expression in art and music, as well as educating the society and new generation through the story of our lives and what we've been through as of today. If interested, all of our lyrics are available in English at www.tarantist.com. Musically, we've incorporated some traditional Persian instruments (Zarb, Santoor), with electric guitars, bass, synths and heavy riffs. Like always, we strive to create combination of new sounds and tones in a groovy way that we ourselves love!" Tarantist remain constantly active - releasing new music and videos and spreading the word of freedom throughout the international arts community. Death Yell had a very short but intense life in the late '80s until they abruptly split up in 1991. For good or bad reasons, their unique demo Vengeance From Darkness became a referent and even influential for many brutal death/black metal bands and 'bangers, raising the band - even after all these years - to the level of an emblematic and even cult name from that time. Death Yell reunited 20 years after they broke up to come back with the recording of Back From the Depths - released in 2013 through Hells Headbangers as a split 7” with Atomic Aggressor - which received countless praise from zines and fans worldwide, showing they had not lost their eerie occult style. Since then, the band have been busy playing live and regaining the position they deserved, having recently joined the Nuclear War Now! Fest V in Berlin. Says founding guitarist Andrés "Pollo" Lozano about this highly anticipated release, "Descent Into Hell is actually our first full-length after 30 years! We are very pleased to become part of the Hells Headbangers legion, as we wanted to work with a specialized, serious, and well-known underground metal label in order to materialize this project." He adds, "It took us quite some time to decide about recording this album. We had to make the decision about either burying the band definitively or take the risk of resurrecting Death Yell… Eventually, we just did it and made all in our hands to keep our original brutality intact. We are quite sure that Death Yell fans will not be disappointed." Indeed they won't: Descent Into Hell not only sounds like its title, it sounds like the fiery, furious work of men half their age. Maintaining that surging, sulphurous sound of their early years but emboldened by a maturity that never threatens to dilute their maniacal rage, Death Yell hit a fever pitch early on on Descent Into Hell and never let up, letting loose one propulsive missile after another. Their attack is finely honed, enviably executed, but never sterile; similarly, the production across the album locates the fine balance between grit and gleam, clarity and crust. Through it all, Death Yell unfurl serpentine solos that intoxicatingly create an atmosphere of eldritch rot and nameless horror. Completed by blasphemous cover art courtesy of Marcelo Vasco, who's also created the latest album covers of Slayer and Kreator, Descent Into Hell is THE debut album Death Yell needed - and succeeded in surpassing. Hail the old gods! In the meantime, the opening track "Soulless" can be heard at Hells Headbangers' Bandcamp HERE, where the album can also be preordered. The CD edition will also include a new version of "Back from the Depths" as a bonus track. The current Death Yell line-up includes four of the five original founding members: vocalist Galleta, bassist Guatiu, and guitarists Pollo and Pulga.
