Iron Bonehead Productions sets October 12th as the international release date for Pa Vesh En's highly anticipated debut album, Church of Bones, on CD and vinyl LP formats. 2018 has already been an extremely busy year for Pa Vesh En. In the span of six months, this singular 'n' shadowy entity from Belarus released through Iron Bonehead the Dead Womb demo, the two-song A Ghost 7", and a split album with Temple Moon. Each step of the way, Pa Vesh En has exhibited a stark 'n' unsettling style of black metal. From stifled-violence miserabilism to seemingly formless drift, from bent-askew melodicism to echo-chamber murk, always with a tortured soul guiding everything, he's almost effortlessly created a sound-world beyond compare - and has done so with the restlessness of a lost spectre. Now arrives Church of Bones, proving with no small amount of finality that Pa Vesh En is creating some of the most mysterious and vital black metal of modern times. At seven songs spanning 37 minutes, Church of Bones feels far more vast than its otherwise-compact runtime suggests. If the preceding split with Temple Moon marked a momentous shift toward total and utter desolation, then Pa Vesh En dives deepest - and equally, both in manner and quality - into both the fog and the murk here, further developing that malodorous melodicism that likewise crept forth on the split. Returning to misery and comfort (and the comfort of misery), the long 'n' languorous landscapes laid out across Church of Bones beckon the listener in a most seductive manner, all before those cursed tendrils ensnare the subconscious and suck it dry, any last semblance of hope extinguished. This celestial drift-unto-descent feels somewhat familiar in the grand scheme of black metal which uses rawness as a weapon, and yet there's that elusive X-factor (or, literally, just literal elusiveness) that makes Pa Vesh En sound completely and utterly ALIEN. Either way, Pa Vesh En has triumphed with the masterful Church of Bones, truly finding his voice and singing the most damned songs. Will you enter that church and join in the choir? Australia's Kaerulean release 'The Human Conditioned' lyric video; pre-orders now available19/7/2018 Brisbane death metal monsters Kaerulean have dropped their new lyric video for 'The Human Conditioned', the first single off their next release, 'The Orwellian Dream'. The clip release also coincides with the opening of pre-orders for their new EP, which began today. "The Human Conditioned conceptually deals with the MK Ultra Experiments run by the CIA during from the 1950’s to the 1970’s. Various Mind control techniques, forms of torture and psychedelics were performed and used on children, sometimes completely breaking down their psyche and allowing them to be moulded to fit the desired format. This is the beginning of mind-control technology," says vocalist Adrian Pagano of the track. Check it out below! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkcYunUtmGY&app=desktop The EP, which will be the third record for Kaerulean, is their most ambitious to date, and with the positive responses they have received from their previous releases, this EP is already on track to propel them to the next level in their careers. "The Orwellian Dream thematically details the four stage development of a totalitarian government, from the beginnings of societal brainwashing to the complete enslavement of humanity for the benefit of a powerful few. The concept for this album was brought about by the literary and conceptual interest we had for George Orwell, particularly his novel 1984. We also drew concepts from other authors including Aldous Huxley, Anthony Burgess and Lois Lowry. There are also real-life inspirations for The Orwellian Dream, such as the CIA MK Ultra Projects during the 1950’s-1970’s and as well as the invasive nature of social media. We recorded and mixed EP again at our own home studio in Brisbane. Brad Boatright of Audioseige took care of our mastering, while Remy from Headsplit Design did our artwork. This is our first release with Truth Inc Records and we are thrilled to be able to finally have you listen!" says Pagano of the EP. 'The Orwellian Dream' is now available for pre-order from via Truth Inc Records or the Kaerulean Bandcamp, but the band will also have some limited pre-order bundles to coincide with their upcoming gig with Archspire and Psycroptic. The limited bundles will only be available via the band's Bandcamp or at their upcoming shows and will include a choice of the following: Archspire/Psycroptic ticket + CD + Shirt Archspire/Psycroptic ticket + CD Archspire/Psycroptic ticket + Shirt, CD + Shirt You can catch Kaerulean at the following Brisbane dates: Friday, August 3 - The Woolly Mammoth w/ Rise of Avernus Thursday, August 16 - Crowbar w/ Archspire, Psycroptic and Hadal Maw https://www.facebook.com/Kaerulean/ Dusktone is very thrilled to announce the signing of French symphonic death metal band Gorgon for a worldwide cooperation. Gorgon is a Symphonic Death Metal band, forged in dark / black metal atmospheres, ethnic music and colossal orchestrations. The band was created in 2013 by the composer and vocalist Paul Thureau. Hailing from Paris, this four-piece band has already built up an excellent reputation in the national and international underground scene, in fact Gorgon’s debut album “Titanomachy” in 2016 have had a great impact on fans of many different genres interested in extreme music beyond the usual patterns. This self released album allowed the band to appear on many festivals and shows around Europe as well as being featured in many magazines, webzines, radios and video podcasts internationally. Gorgon are about to enter the studio to record their highly anticipated second album "Elegy" which is planned for release in November 2018. Paul Thureau states: “We are very honoured to join forces with Italian label Dusktone - and are really excited to finally announce you that our new album ‘Elegy’ is on his way out this year! We’re entering the studio today for final recordings, for what is today the most massive, violent and emotional music we’ve ever produced. More infos soon, be ready!” More details and exciting news will be revealed from time to time.... in the meanwhile you could stay tuned to the band' social pages as well as Dusktone ones W: http://www.dusktone.eu/ IG : https://www.instagram.com/dusktone/ Fb : https://www.facebook.com/dusktone/ W : https://www.gorgon.fr Ig : http://www.instagram.com/gorgon_official Fb : http://www.facebook.com/gorgonofficial Portugal's Cronaxia to release debut album "Collapsing The Outer Structure" through Lusitanian Music19/7/2018 The release of a maelstrom of wickedly intense death metal has come about, in the form of Cronaxia’s debut full length album, the staggering Collapsing The Outer Structure. Cronaxia have been stalwarts of the Portuguese death metal underground for twenty years, with previously just one EP release to their name, 2008s The Solution Above Continuity. The sheer stamina, dexterity and technical skill required to perform Cronaxia’s music has left band members burnt out and used up, hindering their progress. Refusing to be delayed any further, band members Felipe (guitarist and founder member), Renato (guitars) and Sergio (vocals) enlisted the help of a session rhythm section, both from the band Grog - drummer Rolando Barros and bassist Alex Ribeiro – to help bring their complex creations to life. The result of this alliance is an album of blistering, hyperactive death metal that goes by the name of Collapsing The Outer Structure. On September 7th Lusitanian Music will release this collection consisting of eight pieces of wild, inventive, planet-crushing force. Mixed and mastered by Paulo Viera, known for his production work with Ironsword and Ravensire, Collapsing The Outer Structure is a work that walks the tightrope between genius and insanity. With a lyrical concept as brain melting as the music, Cronaxia’s first album is bewildering yet incredible, almost too much to comprehend. The countdown has begun to that September 7th launch date. Prepare to be consumed, to be undone, to have your brain restructured. This is death metal from beyond the event horizon, from the unfathomable heart of darkness. This release represents the first step in a new working relationship between Imperative PR and Lusitanian Music. Great things lie ahead! Album pre-order available http://bit.ly/UpFromTheAshes_CD. SoulHealer play traditional heavy and power metal with an old fashioned 80's attitude blended with a modern metal touch. Their catchy lyrics and unforgettable guitar riffs delivers the perfect soundtrack to both 80’s lovers and the new fans alike looking for great melodies and easy-to-remember songs. Guitarist Teemu Kuosmanen comments: "Our upcoming album will be a killer! This is our fourth album and the first one we took our time with. Our previous albums "Chasing the Dream" and especially the third "Bear the Cross" we rushed to compose and record. Both albums included really good songs but I can't stop thinking how good they could be if we didn't hurry them. Now we look forward and this upcoming album has matured slowly and we have taken time to make the arrangements better. I’m sure our fans will love this album. They will find something new but the soul of SoulHealer will still be there.” SoulHealer's first single “The Final Judgement” off “Up From The Ashes” can be heard at the following link: https://youtu.be/lcSRdxZVZPE plus available on Spotify and iTunes. www.Rockshots.eu https://www.facebook.com/soulhealermusic Peruvian death metal cult Tunjum stream the entirety of their highly anticipated debut album, Deidades del inframundo, via IndyMetalVault.com. Set for international release on July 23rd via Dunkelheit Produktionen for the CD version (the vinyl LP version shall see release on August 1st), hear Tunjum's Deidades del inframundo in its entirety exclusively HERE. Hailing from Lima, Peru, Tunjum began in 2007 as an all-female project playing pagan-themed death metal. Their first promo tape arrived in 2011, to be followed by another promo in 2014, and later that year the Sagrado tiempo de caos EP and the Muerte ancestral demo. Though the line-up changed during these years, Tunjum remained committed to their primary influences - Death, Massacre, Autopsy, Treblinka, Nocturnus, VON, Nihilist, Insulter, Grotesque, Asphyx, Expulser, and Genocidio among others - but always endeavoured to etch their own uniqueness within such exquisite rawness and darkness. And while that line-up has since ceased to be an all-female one, founding drummer (and now also vocalist) Kultarr continues to guide the band, and her vocals lend a particularly diabolic aspect to Tunjum's proudly traditional attack. Since the beginning, Tunjum's themes have largely revolved around the ancient Moche culture, which reigned over eastern Peru from about 100 AD to 800 AD. Through Tunjum's music, the listener is drawn into the Moche mythology, which is strongly based on blood: sacrificing the blood of a beheaded enemy to the gods strengthened their reign over the world. Also, there were many voluntary sacrifices, because the bloodshed was seen as a cleansing of the soul that linked the victim to the ancestors and thus made him holy. The name Tunjum itself is also rooted in the Moche language, and is taken from the combined verb for killing and dying. This hallows the ritual of blood and death, which was the only way of communicating with the gods, in times when the gods only lusted for blood and war. Indeed, across the 42 minutes comprising Deidades del inframundo, the listener is dragged deeply down into Tunjum's deadly vortex of blood, sacrifice, and total DEATH METAL. Tunjum's attack is at once unapologetically primitive and expertly nuanced, which is not surprising considering their current line-up is completed by members of such respected cults as Grave Desecration and Putrid. The hammering surge strips everything down to its barbaric basics, but within that almost-hypnotizing rush of crude 'n' rude Metal of Death lays a keen understanding of what makes this art-form so enduring - songwriting that literally possesses the listener immediately, and proceeds to guide each listener into the darkest bowels of the imagination (and beyond...). And it's a totality that Tunjum pound and punish and pound and punish across each of these eight tracks, with Kultarr's world-eating vocals, in particular, acting like an instrument unto itself; simply, there is no escape. Completed by suitably ominous artwork courtesy of Alan Corpse, Tunjum make a grand, garish entry onto the world stage with Deidades del inframundo. Set for international release on July 21st via Iron Bonehead Productions on 7" vinyl format, hear Aparthiva Raktadhara's Agyat Ishvar in its entirety exclusively HERE. Hailing from Kalikshetra, from the rising Indian black/death scene that's spawned fellow Iron Bonehead noise terrorists Tetragrammacide, Aparthiva Raktadhara create an ultra-violent whirlwind of dread frequencies that somehow manages to sound hallucinatory. In a swift 13 minutes, the power-trio's opening salvo blasts and twists and swirls with feral, frightening intent; just its sheer, Spartan overload of violence alone is stultifying enough. But within that maelstrom, Aparthiva Raktadhara have carefully cultivated a sort of order from chaos, with occult mathematics seemingly employed to elevate each messy-on-the-surface angularity into a stridently martial attack. And Agyat Ishvar is just the first detonation...a new EP for Iron Bonehead is being prepared. In the meantime, hear Agyat Ishvar in its entirety exclusively HERE, courtesy of Decibel, North America's only monthly metal magazine. www.facebook.com/IronBoneheadProductions New Zealand thrash metal trio Alien Weaponry unleash their brand-new music video for “Whispers” of the recently released debut album, Tū. While previous hits “Rū Ana Te Whenua” and “Kai Tangata” have related to historic battles and injustices faced by their ancestors, “Whispers” raises much more recent incidences of conflict – the Foreshore and Seabed Act passed in 2004; and the Trans Pacific Partnership, signed in 2016. “The government’s words are like whispers in our ears, telling us lies, to hide away our fears!” “These are just a couple of examples of the government not respecting the voices of the people, especially Māori,” says guitarist and lead singer, Lewis de Jong. “Even though historic wrongs have supposedly been righted with compensation, when the same thing keeps happening it’s hard to believe there has really been a change.” Watch “Whispers” right HERE! www.alienweaponry.com www.facebook.com/alienweaponry www.napalmrecords.com www.facebook.com/napalmrecords Osmose Productions has set September 28th as the international release date for Binah's highly anticipated second album, Phobiate, on CD and vinyl LP formats. Binah’s genesis can be traced back to sometime in 2010, when Aort started concocting early visions with the purpose of producing a recording of gothic, detailed, and blood-curdlingly morbid death metal. Shortly thereafter, I.R.G. and A. Carrier were preternaturally absorbed into the project, thus forming the core triumvirate that would summon the Binah sound. A couple of pre-production demonstrations were shared, promptly sparking the interest of several sombre institutions. Dark Descent and Me Saco Un Ojo were welcomed to ink a deal with the aggrupation for the release of Binah’s first work in CD/digital and vinyl platforms, respectively. In the year 2012, the long-play recording Hallucinating in Resurrecture was published on the aforementioned formats, followed by a short-play phonograph record of seven inches and three musical pieces entitled A Triad of Plagues in 2014. Both works encountered wide, possession-like acclaim and were completed by a limited, band-funded cassette version of Hallucinating in Resurrecture on Aort’s own Haintic imprint. Although Binah was, and remains, a studio-based aggrupation, 2014 did witness a rare public performance in support of Germany’s acclaimed quadrumvirate of death metal, Necros Christos. A spell of ghost-like silence brings us to the year 2017, when Binah’s second recording of full length is conceived and pieced together in secretive and sinister fashion. Upon completion of this work, the band notes how an unpredicted and subtle development has taken place both conceptually and sound wise. Deciding that this path remains faithful to the original template, the three members show no hesitation in pursuing its release and commence a phase of spectral negotiations. The turn of the year witnesses the alliance of Binah with long-standing institution Osmose Productions to realise and promote the new musical pieces. Responsible once again for the artworks are old band associates Jaume Mayans and Daniela Kropeit, otherwise known as MMonsterbrush. Thus commences a detour, of undefined duration, from older ideas onto a disquieting and uncertain future. Trepid yet resolute, Binah’s journey into the great unknown continues. Take the first step onto that journey with the new track "The Silent Static" HERE at Osmose's website, where the album can also be pre-ordered. www.facebook.com/binahUKDM www.osmoseproductions-label.com/bands/binah www.osmoseproductions.com www.facebook.com/Osmose-Productions-192865300755575 Poland's Ape To God have signed to Deformeathing Production.
