Arising Empire is proud to announce that English metalcore act Our Hollow, Our Home has signed to the label. Our Hollow, Our Home dropped their third album Burn In The Flood earlier this year. "We're super stoked to join the AE family," the band says. "We always said that we would love to sign with a label, so long as it was one that understood the ethos of this band, and loved it as much as we and our fans do! It's safe to say that we felt that was met with ample amounts with Arising Empire." The band has shared the video for "Battle X City," featuring Samantha Bower of Lightwave. Watch it here and here. Lyrically, the song traverses a constant struggle of trying to make something you believe in succeed, whiles the rest of the world tries to convince you that it's doomed to fail. The track finds Our Hollow, Our Home adding guest clean vocals for the first time, "which is a refreshing and innovative touch to this riff-heavy, feel good thrill ride of a track," says singer Connor Hallisey. OH, OH have toured with Asking Alexandria and Blessthefall, and enjoyed high-profile slots at festivals such as Graspop, Nova Rock, Summerblast, and Jera On Air. The band was boosted by a hugely popular cover of Ed Sheeran's "Shape of You" back in 2017, which was picked up by BBC Radio One's Greg James and subsequently topped the iTunes UK rock and metal chart, and racked up over 300,000 plays on YouTube during its first week of release. For a band that has handled its own operations internally, without the help of major label or industry backing until now, these are impressive stats and a testament to the devotion Our Hollow, Our Home have to their craft. But it's more than just the numbers. It’s the way in which people and fans have connected with the band. Be it the lyrical content, the staunchly DIY approach, the high-energy live shows, or the down-to-earth attitude, Our Hollow, Our Home are not forced or faked. Our Hollow, Our Home are:

Hailing from Melbourne, Australia. Demogorgon is a one man black metal band that was formed with a clear statement: create music that is dripping with pure black hate. As the sole member and creative force behind the project, Demogorgon has been able to build an extensive catalog of musical work, with an ever changing and fluid style with each release. 2022 sees Demogorgon move into the next phase of his career, with his signing to Sliptrick Records and the release of his seventh work You Are Worthless And I Want You Dead. Cruxi-Fiction follows the band’s debut album, Gen Z, which dropped back in 2019. Zeistencroix recorded Cruxi-Fiction at Stygian Sound, a private studio located at the renowned Sound City Center, and at ES Audio Recording Studios in Burbank, California. With the support of producers Tim Palmer and Alex Crescioni, Zeistencroix unleashes a 5-track EP that cultivates a unique post-industrial sound with both heavy and ethereal cyberpunk vibes.
Vocalist and songwriter Orlando “OD” Draven touches on the ideology of the EP, saying, “Cruxi-Fiction is an ode to nihilism. There’s no control, no love, and no future. We’re trapped in a hellish loop and robbed of our freedom and relationship aspirations. Everyone obeys in trends à la 1984.” Zeistencroix has also released the lyric video “Ice Queen” in conjunction with Cruxi-Fiction. Icy and snowy visuals pair perfectly with the sombre song’s themes of heartbreak. Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Zeistencroix is Orlando “OD” Draven (vocals), Santiago “Santi” Rivillas (drums), and Eddie “AKO” Jackson Zambrano (guitars). The band’s powerful sound is a blend of metal, industrial, progressive, alternative, and goth. Zeistencroix has toured both across the US and internationally. Just like their thrilling and undeniably fresh second studio album, IMAGO, the single exceeds all expectations, leaving listeners wanting for more. Space Of Variations on “DNA molecule in a million of dimensions”: “We choose the track DNA because it’s heavy, dark and hypnotic sound mirrors the sad state of our feelings personally during these dark times as individuals and for the country we live in. The war has revealed so many things about our lives and have stripped down our every day lives right down to the last molecule. We have come to accept this new reality but will do everything in our power to come out better versions of ourselves in the end…” The band also recently launched their Patreon, which gives fans a chance to support Space Of Variations directly. Space Of Variations online: Israeli technical death metal sensations Prey For Nothing release 'The Sword Devours' lyric video23/8/2022 Israeli technical death metal heroes Prey For Nothing return with their most conceptual and creative album yet: "Kivshan", due for re-release on September 9th, 2022 via Wormholedeath. 'The Sword Devours' is taken from Kivshan - Furnace in Hebrew - and it is one of our most ambitious songs yet, both musically, lyrically, and thematically. We hope you'll enjoy it!" 'The Sword Devours' is a song depicting the history of the Hebrew and Jewish people, not in the warm light of tradition but in the echoes of war and death. We, the Jewish people, like to think of ourselves as 'People of the holy book', who abhor violence and promote peace since the days of Jacob and Josef - but this isn't the entire picture. Our true history is filled with warfare and bloodshed, from ancient times to modern ones. The biblical phrase, "Shall the Sword Devours Forever?" (Samuel 2, 2:26) is spoken by Abner before he was executed for treason against the house of King David. And it rings till this day. We cannot claim to strive for peace with implements of war. If we won't stop the endless cycle of violence - no one will. And this is the lesson we, one of the oldest people in the world, can easily say we take many pains to learn for all nations out there. War is never the answer. Violence is never the answer. War will not bring peace. Don't let those swords devour us all. Line up:

UK progressive metal juggernauts, Exist Immortal, return with their new single 'Flare'. The track is taken from the quintet's upcoming full-length, self-titled album due 14th October via Seek and Strike. 'Flare' features crushing dual guitar madness backed with catchy, soaring melodies and hooks. On the new single, vocalist Meyrick de la Fuente states: "Our new single ‘Flare’ is a rallying call to anyone who has simply had enough. We are all fed up of things we’ve seen over the past few years and we won’t be afraid to join together with others and fight back. The song signals a return to our heavier roots, but brings together all the aspects we have explored over our last couple of releases. It came together as one of the first songs for this new album and it was clear that it would be a guiding light for how the rest of the songs would turn out and grow during the writing process. We are EXIM and this is who we are. We are for everyone who wants to join us on this journey." On the upcoming full-length album, the band comment: "We are very excited to present our latest, self-titled, full length album. For us this is a culmination of a lot of work, building and evolving. We bring back a lot of the heavier elements from our older releases while keeping a lot of the aesthetics and layers from Triptych. As musicians we have always struggled with where to place ourselves amongst our peers and always written music we wanted to make over intentionally fitting into existing trends. We feel that this album is by far our most accomplished and self-assured record to date, reincorporating harsh vocals while exploring new territory on the guitar side of things." In celebration of the album's release date, Exist Immortal will be embarking on a string of UK-based tour dates, including a headline set in Camden's intimate Black Heart on release day. "We are bringing our biggest and best headline show we have ever toured with us and will be playing new songs alongside fan favourites, so old and new fans alike will experience something fresh. Our new record is set for an 14th October release, which we feel is easily our best work to date drawing influence from our entire back catalogue of music into the most refined, truest version of EXIM. This London show will be the official launch party of the new album and we are so excited that this show and iconic venue will be the very first time this new era is brought into the world." Pre-order it here. Now, the band has shared the video for the new song "Nova." Watch it here. "In an overcrowded and oppressive modern society, it is all too easy to fall under pressure; collapse inwardly until self-destruct," the band says. "'Nova' develops on the aggressive themes that were smashed into the metal world as of recent with 'New Dawn.' Doubling down on chaotic rhythms, overlapping dissonance and vocal hooks that will get your fist pumping in the air. Nova mirrors the inner human disparity, and has you banging your f***ing head to it." OAA previously dropped the single "New Dawn," which was hailed by Revolver as "If this is the sound a new dawn, then we are fucked. The latest from U.K. metal crew... packs a disgusting amount of sludgy heaviness into a concise minute and 48 seconds. Don't look for any of the pretty, melodic hooks of its predecessor, 2020 single 'Metamorph.' This is unfiltered nihilism." It was also lauded as "ridiculously heavy" by Rock Sound. Oceans Ate Alaska have carefully and quietly progressed to this point. Following their 2015 debut Lost Isles, they presented Hikari in 2017. The song "Hansha" amassed over 12 million Spotify streams as the album surpassed 40 million total streams. Upon arrival, New Noise Magazine raved, "Optimistic, empowering, and mesmerizing, Oceans Ate Alaska’s bold sophomore album is a true progressive metalcore triumph." Along the way, they toured with the likes of Wage War, The Plot In You, We Came As Romans, Like Moths to Flames, and more. Throughout 2021, they assembled what would become Disparity. Inspired by a mutual love for the likes of Bonobo and Alina Baraz, collaborator Clem Cherry enhanced the production with airy beat-craft and immersive sonic accents. At the same time, they absorbed the unease of the world, infusing a post-apocalyptic thematic undercurrent. In the end, Oceans Ate Alaska encode an important message inside of Disparity. "For us, it's about uplifting listeners," Harrison says. "We want them to feel empowered to realize they can be the change they want. It's still what we're doing. It's been a long time since we put out an album, but we're here." Indeed it has been a minute since the last OAA album but it was entirely worth the wait. The band will be unleashing their fifth studio album "The Blood of Creation" this coming fall on November 4th and they are excited to share its cover artwork and track listing listed below along with the record's teaser at https://youtu.be/V-9Cr-ABE3I "This album is quite dark topically, the lyrics speak of war, fear, sacrifice, and pain, and the music although very classical and explorative also has some very evil moments throughout. We were in a dark place due to the pandemic and the music reflects some of those emotions." adds guitarist / vocalist Chris Osterman. "The Blood of Creation" follows Iron Kingdom's highly praised 2019 full-length "On The Hunt", which took the band to new heights with tours across Canada, the USA, and Europe along with topping the Canadian loud radio charts at #5 (Earshot) and garnering such reviews as "Holy Shit! Have you heard Iron Kingdom's On the Hunt? If you haven't you are missing out on one of the coolest albums of 2019. 10/10" (Keeper Magazine),"Classic sound, modern feel" Powerplay Magazine (UK), "a glorious gallop of foot on the monitor, traditional heavy metal that will have NWOBHM fans drooling. 9/10" (Metal Gods TV) and "40 minutes of enjoyable no-frills classic metal." (Angry Metal Guy). "The Blood of Creation" continues the reign of classic heavy metal that Iron Kingdom has been presenting over the years to music lovers of the style along with keeping the flame burning for a new generation. "We wanted to create music in a style of metal that seemed to have been forgotten when we were kids. Since no one else seemed to be doing it, we decided to play metal the way it used to be played in the 70s and 80s. That was the reason for forming Iron Kingdom. Essentially, we wanted to give people an exciting show like an early Iron Maiden, Scorpions, or Saxon show from the 1980s." recalls Osterman on the beginnings of the band. Iron Kingdom has come a long way since their 2011 debut "Curse Of The Voodoo Queen" and their next offering is a potent full force of classic shredding heavy metal thunder and will take the fans into some unique fantastic worlds, but will also show a dark side of storytelling. "I think we started as a bit more of a hard rock band on the first record, taking a progressive metal dive for Gates Of Eternity and Ride For Glory, then for On The Hunt, I’d say we went fully classic metal, leading into this new record being a pretty solid mix of all those styles combined. We also came out of the pandemic, which brought some darker emotions some people may have never experienced previously that I think this album may parallel. In the end though, we want people to get the chance to escape this world for a time and find solace in the music." adds Osterman. The new album also sees new drummer Max Friesen (ex-Ophelia Falling) making his recording debut with the band to add another angle to their song writing for this release. The album was self-produced by Iron Kingdom with mixing done by Andy Boldt and mastering by Greg Reely (Overkill, Fear Factory, 3 Inches of Blood). Recommended for fans of Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, and Saxon, the album pre-order for "The Blood of Creation" is available at the following links: In additional news, Iron Kingdom have announced their album launch show for November 4th in Vancouver, BC, hosted by the Invisible Orange at the Wise Hall.
