Argentinian symphonic power metal band Preludio Ancestral have signed a deal with Fighter Records for the worldwide (except Asia) release of their fourth album, to be entitled Oblivion, during the spring of 2018.

Formed back in 2005 by guitarist Leo Gatti, the band released a demo in that same year, but it wasn't until 2012 when a first EP and their debut album, Hacia lo Inmortal (Towards the Immortal), was released, being followed by another EP a year later and their second and third albums - Kybalion in 2015 and El Misterio de la Pasión Divina (The Mystery of Divine Passion) in 2016, respectively. Preludio Ancestral have been gaining quite a recognition not only in their native country, where they even opened for acts like Rhapsody of Fire and Stratovarius, but also around the world.

Preludio Ancestral's Oblivion will be a magnificent opus of an epic-painted power metal with symphonic arrangements and awesome guitar work, where various European vocalists and Argentinian musicians give form to an album that will be the delight of any lover of this genre.

Oblivion is still in the final production stages and will see the light during spring 2018 through Fighter Records. First single, full track-list, exact release date, and cover art will be revealed shortly. In the meantime, consult the band's official Facebook site below.

French symphonic power metallers Hamka - featuring Spanish vocalist Elisa C. Martín (ex-Darkmoor) - premiere a lyric video for the new track "Earth's Call" at Legacy magazine's website. The track hails from the band's long-awaited second album, Multiversal, due for international release on December 14th via Fighter Records. Cardiant released their fourth studio album today November 24th 2017 via Inverse Records. The previous album 'Verge' was released approx. 4,5 years ago, so fans long anticipation is finally over.

The album features several guest singers, Pasi Rantanen (Thunderstone, King Company), Nitte Valo (Burning Point, Seraphiel) & Janne Saksa who performed session vocals to Cardiant's debut album 'Midday Moon'.

""Blank Star" is one of the more high tempo songs, and it includes a middle part leaning towards 80's progressive metal. We are eager to play this and other songs from "Mirrors" live. Nation number nine is nearly ready for deployment on the battlefields of World of Tanks Console, striking the front-lines of Xbox and PlayStation 4. The Swedish line will start to roll out on November 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, while Xbox One X players will be able to play with all nine nations right from the start at the upcoming console launch.Tankers can break out the meatballs, turn ABBA up to eleven, and sample some of the finest tanks the nation has to offer, as well as the unique Primo Victoria vehicle from Sabaton.

20 new vehicles are there for players to choose from, including light, medium, and heavy tanks through to tank destroyers. Sitting pretty at the top of the Tech Tree is the mighty Tier X heavy tank Kranvagn. For ambitious players it is more than a welcome alternative to fan-favourite Tier X tanks, like the AMX 50B and T57.

Tank destroyers may begin with what players are used to, and all vehicles boast low profiles to secure great positions, but a pure game changer is introduced for the very first time at Tier VIII. The UDES 03 and onto the Strv 103B unveil a complete new play-style: Siege and Travel. The former is for when you’re safe and secure, ready to ramp up the damage by reducing your speed and upping your damage output. The latter is for when things get a little too hot to handle and you need to make a quick getaway.

“Console players were demanding the implementation of the Swedish nation after its overwhelming feedback when launched a few months ago on PC, so everyone on the development team was really excited to bring them to console as quickly as possible,” said TJ Wagner, Executive Producer, World of Tanks Console. “We pushed all our resources to the max to throw in the unique Primo Victoria from Sabaton, too, so players can experience tons of great content to change up combat on their preferred console.”

First revealed at this year’s gamescom, Sabaton are a Swedish power-metal band who, when not making music about epic battles, like to jump into a few themselves in World of Tanks. The guys created a special World of Tanks-themed video for their song Primo Victoria. As well as starring in the video, the band appear in-game in the Primo Victoria tank as crew members.

With all that hot news, players may need to cool off. Luckily, the game has tankers covered with Murovanka in a new blizzard setting. Battle lines and tanks will be blurrier than usual, offering an extra challenge to even the most veteran players.

Amberian Dawn mastermind Tuomas Seppälä gives a deeper insight to “I’m The One”:

     “I'm The One was one of the latest compositions for new album. After writing a couple of softer songs in fall 2016 I got a new “heavy wave” and probably 3 latest songs I wrote were quite heavy. The song is very hectic and pushes forward like a train. There's no solo part on this song (a solo would have been quite obvious call) Instead of that I wrote an instrumental part and an extra vocal part. Last vocal part's melody and chord pattern supporting it consists of just one really long phrase... this kind of long phrasing was typical in many classical compositions. I still haven't got rid of my roots in classical music :)”

     “I'm The One, this is a story about very charismatic and socially intelligent people who speak with the finest words to make other people do what they want in their quest for their own pleasure. They do not care about the consequences or how to violate the feelings of others. They only think of themselves. Unfortunately the pressure in the group is generally enormous and all its members are behind the strongest individual hoping to be "the chosen one".”

As recently announced, Spain’s Symphonic Power Metal act Döxa has joined Pitch Black Records with the band’s third album, “Lust for Wonder”, scheduled for release on September 29th on CD and Digital.

Döxa came to existence in the Spring of 2007, in Madrid, Spain as the brainchild of Víctor Fernández (ex- Darksun). The band’s music draws heavily from Symphonic and Classic Metal, but also from other musical styles as well such as Folk, New Age and Classical.
