 Finnish love metal pioneer, Ville Valo, will release new single, "Loveletting," on April 8 under the VV banner. "Loveletting" is taken from VV's forthcoming debut album Neon Noir. He explains, "As fun as the funeral rites for HIM were, it took me more than a few moons to lick my wounds in the shadow of the Heartagram and come up with an excuse to strum and hum again. Eventually, I decided to put a leash on my beloved black dog and we started howling together instead of barking at each other. That's how 'Loveletting' was born." "Loveletting" will be made available across all digital platforms from midnight (local time) tonight. An official video clip will follow tomorrow 11am ET here. VV's debut album Neon Noir is scheduled for release in early 2023; belonging to the same forlorn world of woe and whimsy once conceived and governed by Valo in HIM, VV arrives with additional nuanced notes of a fine aged Cabernet. Valo adds, "Artistically speaking, the main difference between HIM and VV is the extra line in the Heartagram, but what an exquisite line it is! Combining raw, energetic performances with their own distinct musical flair, Junction 28 are paving the way as an influential alternative rock band for the modern generation. Since joining forces in 2019, the group has captivated fans with their signature sound and entrancing stage presence. New listeners will be hooked from the first note. Junction 28 is a band hailing from Essex in the UK. Aiming to combine huge riffs, dense electronics and soaring vocals into one cohesive aural assault, the group is now ready to show its new face to the world. Formed in 2018 by bassist Dick Phantom (Kieron Spears), it wasn’t long before the band began ploughing through venues across Essex and Greater London.  Belgian alternative metallers Cellar Twins have signed with Sliptrick Records. Cellar Twins were founded in 2014 in Namur, Belgium. Characterized by powerful instrumentals blended with clean vocals, the band offers an intense journey into a unique universe where light and darkness combine. The band drops the new track "Farewell" alongside a black and white emotionally shattering video that will have viewers questioning just what to feel. “Farewell” is the third single taken of Dark Matters (Part I), which was recorded in Odd Crew’s own “ButcherHouse” Studio in Sofia and produced and mixed by the band themselves. Guitarist Vasil Parvanovski comments: “We wanted to make a massive and interesting album that includes both lighter catchy vocal parts and emotionally heavier instrumental parts as well. In 2021 Lillasyster entered the Swedish take outs for Eurovision and since then their contribution "Pretender" has risen on the charts, peaking on the "Swedish Top 50" chart for over a month and soon streamed Platinum in Sweden. The bands contribution this year is the new "Till Our Days Are Over" and is written by Palle Hammarlund and Jimmy Jansson which have had several previous successes in the competition. "The song has a higher tempo than Pretender and is more straight on, and more Arena" says singer Martin Westerstrand.  Here the words from the Singer Greta Antico: “The lyrics of 'Our Lady Of Sorrows' represent a prayer raised to the sky, it is the question made by someone who does not find his place in the world and with the greatest despair has the intention to awaken a divinity, good or malevolent, from Her sleep. The desperate one calls her by different names to make sure he/she is not mistaken and in the end the deity responds and agrees to take the one who called her under her protection. Ours is a warrior goddess, barren mother of children who come to her in despair and who finally answers by asking for devotion and sacrifice in return, it is an exchange, a call to be part of a larger family, certainly very far from the "Christian Lady Of Sorrows" but somehow close to the figure of "Mother". This representation can also be interpreted as a voice, something that comes from the heart, an emotion that wakes up inside us and that pushes us to become something else, that asks us to move, that gives us the strength that we feel when it seems that nothing can save us, and then instead, gathered all our strength, allows us to succeed.”
The video represents the protagonist in search of an answer, she hears music and tries to follow it, she needs to find a solution to her problems and she looks for it through 'Our Lady Of Sorrows'. Instead she finds in her path the four of us, who in one way or another, guide her towards the "Cathedral" where we are playing. Of course, by the time she gets there, it will be too late. She will be left with a book though, and... who knows, it could be the solution to all her problems or her worst damnation…
