NY's Bangladeafy premiere "Termites", the first single from the Narcopaloma EP via Metal Injection26/7/2016 New York City-based technical metal duo, Bangladeafy, has just issued the first single from their impending Narcopaloma EP, with a premiere of the churning "Termites," delivered exclusively through Metal Injection. Narcopaloma crams seven new tunes into a white-knuckled fifteen-minute ride through Weirdo City, delivering Bangladeafy's manic, tech-mangled, bass and drum-driven attack with even more brain-warping arrangements than before. Progressive fusion meets cyber annihilation in brutalizing grooves that take the listener by the throat and drag one through a psychotic 8-bit video game holocaust. The first single from Narcopaloma comes writhing forth through an exclusive debut at Metal Injection, the write-up stating of the track, "'Termites' bends and twists endlessly though cluttered hallways of riffs and insane passages that just might make you pause the track to get off your ass and practice. Seriously, this sounds like four dudes trying to keep up with one another... not two dudes crushing it. Observe!" Choke on Bangladeafy's "Termites" RIGHT HERE. Narcopaloma will see release on CD and digital formats through the band's cohorts at Nefarious Industries on August 26th; preorders will be made available in the coming days. Bangladeafy has booked a Brooklyn record release show on August 25th, with many other live announcements to be expected. Bangladeafy CD Release Show: 8/25/2016 Sunnyvale - Brooklyn, NY w/ Husbandry, Spotlights, Geometers The origin of the Bangladeafy moniker fuses the Bangladeshi descent of drummer Atif Haq with the physical hearing impairment of bassist/pianist/vocalist Jon Ehlers, as he along with two sisters were been born with sensorineural hearing-loss. The duo interlopes endless runs and rhythms with intense time changes and otherworldly texture with utter seamlessness. Closing a three-year gap since The Briefcase EP left jaws swinging, the duo slams back onto the grid with Narcopaloma. The record is drenched in the synth elements that have permeated the outfit's prior works, including segues bridging each track, and while Bangladeafy songs are largely instrumental already, Narcopaloma is virtually void of any vocals. Narcopaloma was engineered and mixed by Jonathan Vergara at Pancake Studios, with Atif Haq's drums having been recorded by Mike Gatto, and all bass, samplers, and keys tracked by the band's Jon Ehlers. Bangladeafy is also already currently immersed in the writing process for their next release. Steady updates are to be expected throughout the year. http://www.facebook.com/Bangladeafy http://bangladeafy.bandcamp.com http://www.facebook.com/NefariousIndustries http://www.nefariousindustries.com http://www.twitter.com/NefariousInd

Hailing from Bangladesh, the three-piece Serpent Spells is yet another band to get under the wings of Godz Ov War Productions. Owing to the collaboration, the debut EP entitled 'Mantras Within Ascending Fire' featuring nearly twenty minutes of unique Blackened Death Metal will be released as soon as on May 31. Four tracks contained on the release closely follow the classics of extreme music and bring to mind the accomplishments of Sarcofago or Archgoat. Still, Serpent Spells' music is not only murderous tempos, wild vocal parts or thick and demoniacal riffs. The band takes you by surprise with their well thought-over rhythm arrangements, they are brave enough to bring in unusual melodies or incorporate oriental accents that make their music sound exotic. The whole thing, be it brutal and raw, sounds most lucid and contemporary. The cover was created by Michael Capili, and the excellent layout was developed by Marckus. Tracklist: 1. Prism of Flesh (Entrance) 2. Piercing the Cervix of Nehemah 3. Scourge Heretic Consecration 4. Mantras Within Ascending Fire Before the release, you can listen to 'Piercing the Cervix of Nehemah' on SoundCloud Pre-sale of 'Mantras Within Ascending Fire' on standard CD has already started at www.store.godzovwar.com Godz Ov War Productions Serpent Spells Facebook On February 26th the Witches Brew label released the debut MCD from the four headed beast Surtur, who are from the Bangladeshi underground metal scene, giving the EP its first official release including a reworked layout. Previously released as a CD-r this short, but intense EP depicts "a true heavy metal fantasy about the arrival of a messiah from the old school roots who will put reins on all that is phony and immaterial." Featuring 4 tracks, one instrumental opener and 3 hair flying, fist pumping bangers that aim to stay close to the ancient footsteps of late 80's and early 90's thrash! "Descendant Of Time" was recorded, mixed and mastered at Sonic Occult Productions by Maamar Huq. Drums recorded at Studio 100 Miles by Aziz Ayon. Cover art (Safwan Hossain) and track listing can be found below. Surtur "Descendant Of Time" MCD is available now on the Witches Brew Webshop. www.facebook.com/SurturBD Bangladeshi Thrash Metal group Exalter fire up three sizzling songs that uphold the spirit of the genre without diluting even an iota of the essence. The music is as old school as it can get but the songs sound pristine and sharp enough to slice ears. Also included in this release are songs from the entire previous release called 'Democrasodomy' which sound just as potent and invigorating even today. Exalter step up to the plate after the initial onslaught by West Bengal band Armament, and take it upon themselves to further the thrash metal assault worldwide. There is no band worthier to do so from the whole of Indian subcontinent, equipped with an aggressive sound, vicious vocals, and an innate anger that invariably gets expressed through the hard-hitting music. To call their music lethal would be an understatement. Posers are eternally feasting on trends growing wild like slimy fungus! It's time to set up the Holocaustic Banishment Camp for these weak mortals as Final Cleansing!” The banishment war has been announced against all the pretentious inferior minds and none shall be spared! For their shallow mind, cum filled brains and worthless lives are of no use, hence its time for a mass execution! Yes! Its about time for the BANISH THE POSERS FEST 2013!! Bangladesh, a third world country mostly infamous for its poverty, politics, mass corruption, religious extremism and what not, is about to re-introduce itself as an up-growing Extreme Metal hub in Asia and establish its might in front of the world! The inception of Heavy Metal music in the region of East Bengal dates back in the mid 80’s when bands like Waves, Rock Strata, Aces, In Dhaka, Warfaze showed the balls to go against the tide and start something non-conforming and rebelious against all the trends, which has stayed strongly rooted till this date. To maintain that legacy in a larger scale, its about time that Bangladesh shall experience its first international Metal fest in the most extreme and primitve form; Banish The Posers Fest 2013! The celebration of true Metal where bestial acts from all over Asia will come together with their fatal weapons and banish whats not true, eradicate whats fake and pretentious! The force of true Metal shall prevail!! The war has been fixed on the day of 16th November at Russian Cultural Centre and is going to be put up by one of the leading Metal organizations of South-East Asia Primitive Invocation. To join forces against all that is fake and pseudo Metal, the hordes that will be coming are Siamese Death Metal aggressors Savage Deity (Thailand), Malaysian Speed / Black / Thrash Metal militia Lobotomy along with their countrymen Old-school Death Metal mad-act Kathgor and Brutal Death Metal debauchery Purgation from West Bengal, India! They shall be supported by East Bengal’s very own Death / Thrash legends, the mighty Orator, the abhorred, blasphemous Black / Death Metallers Nafarmaan, the savage Old-school Death Metal monsters Warhound and finally, the skull crushing Death Metal killer-men Morbidity!
Global Metal Apocalypse proudly announces the collaboration with Primitive Invocation and the aforementioned acts on this unholy event! Hails! On the acknowledgement of this collaborations, our Bangladeshi correspondent Nabil Abaddon talked with one of the main organizers at Primitive Invocation, Mr. Iftekhar Faiaz Nafiz (pictured above). Here is how the conversation developed: Apocalyptic hails brother! Global Metal Apocalypse is collaborating with Primitive Invocation on this bestial congregation of Metal; Banish The Posers Fest 2013, which includes four bands from all over Asia and four bands from Bangladesh! Would you like to say anything on this unholy association? Perhaps any updates? Hails right back at GMA for doing this interview and also for the collaboration with Primitive Invocation. Banish The Posers Fest will consist of 4 international bands and they are Savage Deity (Thailand), Kathgor (Malaysia), Purgation (India) along with the newest addition Lobotomy (Malaysia) and 4 local acts; Orator, Nafarmaan, Warhound, Morbidity. Twisted Fate from Australia and Necrodeity from India were supposed to play but unfortunately they have been ruled out of the event due to some unavoidable circumstances. We wish them the best of luck with their future endeavors. You will definitely have a blast when all these bands would hit the same stage on this 16th November! You just need to watch them live at BTPF to actually know what I am talking about! Primitive Invocation has been organizing quality Extreme Metal gigs for quite some time now and this time you guys have taken a massive event in hand! When and how did the thought of organizing such a huge international fest come in mind at first? Well, earlier this year and even last year we have had discussions concerning this fest and which bands we would be having at BTPF, etc etc. We got a huge response from the bands we had approached and they showed a lot of interest in coming to Dhaka and performing live plus we have known the bands for quite sometime now and have built a good and solid relationship. Bangladesh has a very small Extreme Metal community and number of fans. Do you think Bangladesh is ready for this grand exhibition of relentless and bestial Metal? They have to be ready sooner or later. So why not start with Banish The Posers Fest? Heh! Metalheads from Bangladesh seem to be getting into the more extreme form of metal these days rather than just keep on listening to let’s say Dream Theater, Metallica, Children of Bodom etc. It's a good sign if you ask me. Would you like to explain the name “Banish The Posers Fest”? Amit Skullbearer and Vritra Ahi from Orator gave me the idea of naming the event Banish The Posers Fest. As far as I know, Anton from Nafarmaan had something to do with the name back in the day. It is a long story. It is a great name for the gig. Coming to Primitive Invocation itself, How did this organization start and what are the motives and directions of this organization? Also please tell us about the PI fanzine ‘Perseverance of Archaic Wisdom’! Well, it all started back in early 2010. The basic idea of such an entity was there, but it was through “Pictavian Tandava In Bengal”, the show that featured Manzer later that year that Primitive Invocation took its unofficial birth. The motives of Primitive Invocation has always been to uphold and promote the true Extreme Metal of the underground and staying true to the roots. The Primitive Invocation fanzine “Perseverance of Archaic Wisdom” was a joint effort and was the first of its kind in Bangladesh which featured some of the most extreme and big names of the underground around the globe. It was the result of the hard work put into by Oshustho Mogoj, Naved Alam Parosh, Raiyan Momen and Vritra Ahi, who is also the editor of the fanzine. Primitive Invocation has earned a good name for featuring international bands in Bangladesh. Manzer (Pictavia), Infernal Curse (Argentina), Abigail (Japan), Purgation (India) in the past and now the aforementioned bands! Tell us how does Primitive Invocation hook up with all the international acts? Is there any kind of selection procedure or something for the local acts? How does PI hook up with the international acts? It is simple, we contact with the bands over the internet and tell them all the details regarding the events and when and where it would take place etc. It gets easier if you already happen to know the bands from previous meetings at different gigs both home and abroad. They are also well aware of all the gigs that PI has organized thus far. Both the parties have a true dedication for Metal. Needless to say that respect and support amongst the involved parties are always there. To answer the latter part of the question, we select those who can give the audience a kickass live show. That’s one of the factors! Is Primitive Invocationtotally inclined to Old School Metal acts only or is it open to all extreme kinds of Metal acts? We are open to all kinds of Metal. Rock metal, soft metal, extreme metal, nude metal. You just name it! 2013 has been a decent year for Bangladeshi Metal scene so far. Lots of bands are coming up with their offerings, signing up with foreign labels, more bands are touring abroad and what not. What do you make of the scene right now? Where is it heading to? I think the scene has gotten better over the last few years and its going towards a positive direction. Primitive Invocation supports all the hard work and the effort that the local bands have made. Kudos to them and I am sure there are even greater things coming for them in the future. Gratitudes for giving us your time brother. Looking forward to the BTPF 2013! Ave! Any last words for the readers? Thanks for the interview. Keep spreading the news about Banish The Posers Fest. See you all in November. Cheers! There are more features coming your way! So watch out for the space! Bangladesh is not lagging behind in this global upheavel. Dissector, as they call themselves, is a ‘raw and merciless Thrash metal’ horde ascending from Dhaka, Bangladesh. 30th August, 2013 became the day that these Thrash maniacs unleashed their debut EP “Local Maniac Syndrome” at the Russian Cultural Centre with a merciless EP launch gig. “Local Maniac Syndrome” is a self-release and is supported & promoted by Shackle Multimedia. The EP consists of an intro, four smashing tracks and comes with a well illustrated album sleeve. The whole album was recorded, mixed and mastered at G.R.B Artillery except for the drum takes which were done at Studio 2ag. The line up comprised of Bangladeshi Thrash Metal giants Powersurge and some of the most talented young bands like Thrash, Dissector Themselves, Homicide, Friday The 13th, Exalter, Sacrilege and Override (in descending order).
