Australia's black / death four-piece Denouncement Pyre will release their new studio album "Forever Burning" on June 17th via Agonia Records. "Forever Burning" is the fourth instalment from the Melbourne-based band and follow-up to "Black Sun Unbound" (2016). As a monument of black / death chaos, this collection of songs "represents a fiery will that cannot be broken," comments D (guitars/vocals). "A homage to the triumph and tribulations of those who walk the path of fire. With the limitations of the mundane world fiercely aligned against us, we charge forth, unwavering, unbound! Forever Burning!" The album was recorded at the band's own studio, apart from drums, which were recorded at The Black Lodge Studio by Joel Taylor. Mixes took place at I-HQ (Nocturnal Graves, Order of Orias) with Jarro Raphael and mastering at High Voltage Audio with James Frazzetto. The cover artwork was crafted by Mitchell Nolte (Aborted, Mystifier, Lucifers Child). Elizabeth D’Aprano shot new band photos. Formats:

Indian metal veterans Demonic Resurrection have returned with a new single ‘The Eye Of Eternity’. The track sees the band bring on Benighted drummer Kevin Paradis, keyboardist Misstiq from Australia, and vocalist Pratika to feature on the track. The band also uses this opportunity to announce Aditya Swaminathan (Kill The King) as their new lead guitarist who also plays on the song. The track has been inspired by the artwork of Aaron Pinto aka Kidsquidy who created the artwork for the band’s 20th-anniversary merchandise line. Watch the official lyric video: https://youtu.be/duOdK8-uUJM Frontman Demonstealer shares his thoughts:- ‘It’s been a tough couple of years for the band and I just felt I wanted to do something but an album would take time. That’s why I decided to take inspiration for songs from all the artworks we had created for our 20th Anniversary merchandise. We got together 4 of our fav designers who have previously worked with us on merch or album covers, Gaurav Basu aka Acid Toad, Michal ‘Xaay’ Loranc, Visual Amnesia, and Aaaron Pinto aka Kidsquidy. The first track I decided to work on was based on this artwork. The track is just honestly a journey with various moods and tempos. Working with Kevin, Misstiq, and Pratika has been an absolute dream and Aditya just topped everything off perfectly with his solos.’ The track has been mixed and mastered by ex-Demonic Resurrection guitarist Daniel Kenneth Rego and the lyric video was created by Abshishek Goswami from Sonicspawn Studios. Demonic outfit Cradle Of Filth is proud to release an extraordinary new video, accompanying their magnificently mournful track "How Many Tears To Nurture A Rose?". The video premiered as part of Cradle Of Filth's Infernal Vernal Equinox Deadstream, and now fans all across the globe can also bask in its sublime black magick. Directed by Vicente Cordero, the stunning video winds a haunting tale - sinister, alluring, and deadly. But he that dares not grasp the thorn, should never crave the rose... Infamous front-man Dani Filth stated: "This is yet another great video by director Vicente Cordero, encapsulating the occult essence of the song’s lyricism with great sweeping colourful strokes of total batshit-craziness. It really makes for frightening, yet strangely compelling viewing!" The gates of hell opened once again in 2021, revealing Cradle Of Filth's 13th manifesto "Existence Is Futile". Pieced together in isolation at Grindstone Studios in Suffolk with studio guru Scott Atkins, the record is a pitch-black, perverse and at times absurdly brutal masterpiece, based around the concept of existentialism. Diehard fans were thrilled to learn that horror icon Doug 'Pinhead' Bradley made a welcome return, lending his dulcet tones to the band's most politically astute song to date, the epic "Suffer Our Dominion" as well as the album bonus track "Sisters Of The Mist", which is the conclusion to the "Her Ghost In The Fog" trilogy, started over 20 years ago on the infamous and classic Midian. Intense as well as atmospheric, Lithuanian black metal band Sisyphean have the perfectly tempered sound for this style of music. Their inherent dissonance magnifies their expression, elevating them over hordes of predictable bands, but their real mastery is in crafting thrilling and engaging songs that are both coherent and fulfilling. Everything seems in place and is there for a reason, and they even cover a wide range of emotions, making it a well-rounded affair. Each song bears its own individual sentiment, somehow complementing the songs preceding it, as if carrying on from where the last one ended and doing something more with it. Clearly, it’s a brilliantly written and arranged album, providing for intuitive undulations of extremity and emotions, not only captivating your attention throughout but also moving you. Virtually flawless, ‘Colours of Faith’ is a massively ambitious yet sincere album that ought to be regarded as a landmark album in the style. Sisyphean are:

Two years after the release of their sensational "Palindrome" album, Timisoara, Romania based Katharos XIII announce the release of their fourth opus this Spring, a new collaboration with Loud Rage Music. The first single Neurastenia is now online below. Emilian Matlak, the band's founding member, spoke about the new single and album: "Neurastenia was filmed and directed by Alexandru Das and represents only a frame of a certain piece of emotion transmitted to us in a universal frequency by a group of dead cosmonauts from the future. They still float through the cosmos and send signals with life experiences, hopes, tragedies as a part of a chthonian collective conscience. In this case the first transmission - Neurastenia - is about seclusion, alienation, spleen feelings and the difficulty of finding a daily reason for existence. The new album will encapsulate six different dreams delivered from the times when the itinerant cosmonauts had a telluric existence. We like the words of Kurt Vonnegut and the imagery of Andrei Tarkovski, so we tried to embed this in our aesthetics and in every word or expression to resonate with our own personal philosophy." More details about the concept, recording process and the release date of the full-length will follow in the near future. https://www.facebook.com/KatharosXIII https://linktr.ee/loudragemusic Finnish melodic death / black metal band Se, Josta Ei Puhuta have released their second single 'Murskaa Unelmat' (Shatter Dreams), taken from the upcoming third studio album "Gehenna", which is released on April 22nd 2022 via Inverse Records. Earlier it was symphonic/orchestral doom metal influenced by the Greek culture, and this time around it's completely Japanese-themed with a host of guest musicians playing various instruments including some folk ones. They've blended such influences beautifully into their sound and none of it seems forced. It's just seamlessly integrated and the album flows uninterruptedly too. While it's recommended that you listen to it from start to finish, you can get a taste of their music by checking out their music on Bandcamp and YouTube. Et Moriemur set new standards for themselves with their previous Greek-themed album 'Epigrammata' which borrowed elements of death and black metal and flawlessly integrated them in their unique brand of atmospheric doom metal. This time they're exploring Japanese themes and have frankly outdone themselves. It's rare to come across bands that are constantly reinventing themselves without losing their core sound and Et Moriemur are doing just that and taking the sound ahead in ways previously unimagined. An album to be heard from start to finish, it makes you experience various moods and sounds, having employed the services of several musicians in addition to their own, playing traditional instruments such as shakuhachi and others like cello, harp, violin and more. For the next quarter of an hour, you're transported to a different land, imagining a different era, and you remain mesmerized by the seamlessly transitioning music with plenty of variations and fascinating new elements. The blend of genres is immaculate and none of it feels even remotely forced or out of place. Truly, Et Moriemur may have created a new sound which they've only perfected over here. They remain in a league of their own, in competition with only themselves. Et Moriemur line up:
