Norwegian extreme metal titans Ancient have announced their Latin American tour dates and cities, kicking off on September 7th in Mexico. Check out the tour dates below. Ancient Frontman Zel stated: "We are very excited and proud to announce the Ancient tour in Latin America in September. This has in many ways been a dream come true for us, to finally tour this corner of the world. The tour that took place in 2007 was not with a full band line-up and I was not even there myself, but this time we will bring the most powerful and energetic line up Ancient has ever had, with Mr. Nick Barker himself on the drums!! A lot of fans from countries like Honduras, Puerto Rico, Bolivia, Venezuela and especially Brazil, have been writing to us asking why we will not visit these places during the tour. The thing is, that it does not depend on the band, we would play in every single country if we had the chance. These decisions are always made by the booking agency and the local promoters in each country. Sometimes the expenses (especially with travelling) are simply too high to make it happen, but we will do our best to return again with an even bigger tour next time !!! Let's keep the Ancient spirit alive !!" Colombian doom-gothic metal 4-piece Charm Designer released their first music video "Never After" on Friday, April 7th, 2017 through Inverse Records’ YouTube channel and the band’s own Facebook page. Video is available here: https://youtu.be/tn-fE49ZDu4 The clip for Never After was shot in their hometown by local director Gustavo Carvajal, and it portrays both the concept of a multiple characterization of mortality and Gustavo’s bet on a “fashion film” inspired visual aesthetics and the interplay of light and shade. Never After is the second single from Charm Designer’s 2016 album "Everlasting", which was produced and recorded by Waldemar Sorychta (Tiamat, Samael, Moonspell, Lacuna Coil, etc.). Previously and as anticipation for the album, a lyric video for the title track, which featured the artwork and animation of renowned Romanian artist Costin Chioreanu, was released as a first single. Everlasting was first released by Finland’s Inverse Records on CD and also for download and streaming through digital platforms. Keep up with Charm Designer’s latest news and updates by following their social media: Youtube Morbid Skull Records presents the latest release of the black/thrash metal sensation Lucifera from Colombia. With a sound firmly rooted in the old school style, they whip up a storm and deliver a dozen extremely potent and acerbic tracks. Alejandra Blasfemia's vocals are veritably hateful and vile, and coupled with the fact that they're delivered in a native language exacerbates things greatly. Given the nature and tone of the primitive music, they go very well with it and sound like fierce incantations belonging to an ancient black art ritual. 'Preludio Del Mal' is scathing yet laden with catchy riffing and exudes a fantastic vibe throughout. Lucifera are a revelation indeed and anyone who can appreciate vicious old school black/thrash metal will find a new favourite in this one.
