Peruvian Death Metallers Hell Trepanner announce debut album "The Consecration Of Eternal Impurity"

11/2/2026

Hell Trepanner’s debut full-length "The Consecration Of Eternal Impurity" will be released on March 20, 2026 by Awakening Records. The album comes out on CD and digital formats.

The first single, "Blaspheming in Primordial Tongues," is out now: https://youtu.be/IEJOPlnXN-8

Hell Trepanner come from the southern districts of Lima, Peru, and has been active since 2015. From the beginning, the band has stayed focused on old school death metal without compromise - no stylistic updates, no trend-hopping, no unnecessary polish. Just raw, hostile music built on heaviness, darkness, and blasphemy.

The band operates as a trio, and that stripped-down formation shows in the sound. The riffs are thick and ugly, the drums push forward without restraint, and the vocals stay deep and confrontational. Whammy bar abuse, blast-heavy sections, and slower crushing parts are used where they make sense, not as decoration. The record feels aggressive by nature rather than by design.

Lyrically and atmospherically, The Consecration of Eternal Impurity revolves around desecration, spiritual decay, death, and inverted ritual. There’s no narrative hand-holding here - the album leans into oppressive moods and ritualistic imagery, treating death metal as something closer to a ceremony than a performance.

The album was recorded at Dragon Verde Studios and mixed and mastered at Sounds of Perseverance Studios, keeping the sound dense and forceful rather than clean. The cover artwork, painted in oil on canvas by Artem Astaroth, fits the album’s tone without drifting into fantasy clichés.

Members of Hell Trepanner have been involved in several key projects within the Peruvian underground, including Necrofagore, Evil Priest, Disinter, Ensseminis, Nefasto, Evil Spectrum, and Rito Profanatorio. The band is also known locally for intense live shows that favor pressure and volume over theatrics.

The Consecration of Eternal Impurity doesn’t attempt to redefine death metal. It exists to reinforce what the genre already does best - heaviness, darkness, and confrontation - delivered with conviction and no interest in modern polish.

Picture

After years of ritualistic live performances, March 2026 will mark the final live chapter of the band's debut album "The Serpent’s Cult". This closing phase will serve as the ceremonial end of an era that shaped the band’s identity through darkness, devotion, and uncompromising Death Metal.

At the same time, Dalighet has confirmed that their second full-length album is scheduled for release in Winter 2026. The upcoming material represents a new chapter — more aggressive, more mature, and conceptually focused — pushing the band beyond the foundations laid by their previous work.

The cult does not disappear. It evolves.

More details will be revealed in due time.

French death metal band WarsideE, drawing influence from acts such as Dying Fetus, Vomitory, and Misery Index, will release their debut full-length album "Cognitive Extinction" on May 8th, 2026 via Gruesome Records. The album introduces a renewed lineup on vocals and drums, bringing increased intensity, precision, and cohesion to the band’s sound. With Cognitive Extinction,  Warside sharpen their identity, leaning into a rawer and more aggressive approach built around direct, effective tracks.

"For the album, it's the idea of the new line up (there are only two of us left from the original EP, The Enemy Inside) that pushed us to have a rawer, more direct sound. The first single has quite personal lyrics about the damage that screens and digital technology are doing to our children's brains and intelligence, and the decline of culture. That's the main theme of the album." - says the band

The first single, “Synthetic Abyss,” is out today and available on all digital stores

Thanks to numerous live performances in clubs and metal festivals across France and Europe, Warside built a solid reputation on stage. In 2023, the band embarked on its first European tour alongside Vader and Vomitory as part of the “40 Years of the Apocalypse” tour. This tour was followed in 2024 by a second European tour with Vader, covering 15 countries.

Finnish death metallers Hautajaisyö to release fifth album 'Surun Paino'; first single and music video out now

Finnish Death metal band Hautajaisyö are set to release their fifth album 'Surun Paino' on March 20th 2026 via Inverse Records. The first single 'Maan Nielemä' is out now, accompanied by a music video available here: https://youtu.b/L4ygntH5stk

The first single from the new Hautajaisyö album, Surun Paino (Weight Of Sorrow), comes with brutality. 'Maan Nielemä' (Swallowed by Dirt) showcases the band at their best. It features heavy riffs, violent drums and low-growl vocals. The song is inspired by the year 536, the "Year of Darkness", when the world was shrouded in darkness and nearly all of humanity perished. Amidst the chaos, a lone gravedigger toils endlessly. The song has a DIY music video which was filmed in one take at the band's practice venue. This fits well, as the album was recorded by the band themselves using their own equipment.

"'Maan Nielemä' is one of my favourite songs from the new album. It hits like a hammer on hot metal, and you can feel the darkness of the song. Making the video was damn fun. We had a rough idea of what we wanted to do, and we tried to keep the costs down. Then we just 'hit our heads against the wall' until we had the finished video." says vocalist Janne Partanen

Finnish Blackened Death crew Saasta release new single from their upcoming album

Photo: Uljas Blind Visions

Finnish Blackened Death metallers Saasta's new single The Leeches is a grittily realistic depiction of present-day and past societies, in which the world’s small, blood-sucking elite disguised as sirs and lords - rip everything from the common person, down to their very hope and health. The story can be seen as the complete failure of a beautiful future utopia. A human being works throughout their life only to be drained dry and thrown into a pit once they are no longer considered productive enough by the ruling elite. In the end, does a civilized society differ at all from livestock farming?

Musically, the track combines black and death metal in Saasta’s characteristic way, with death metal’s brute force ensuring that the black metal message reaches the listener’s deepest core. The single’s cover art and the music video were created with a raw DIY spirit by Saasta.

Saasta is an extreme metal band from Kotka, Finland. Formed in 2020 the band combines the mercilessness of black and death metal, with the more subtle nuances of doom. The combination is dark and groovy metal with its own distinctive sound, where strong lyrical expression meets raw energy. Saasta is known for their intense stage presence and uncompromising effort.

Finnish Blackened Death Metal crew Karelian Warcry release their third album "Mielen Rutto" this spring

Finnish Blackened Death metal band Karelian Warcry have worked with their third album for years and finally it sees the light of day this spring. The first bite from the album, a single "Mielen Rutto" (The plague of mind) is now out.

Listen to the single on music services (Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal, Bandcamp etc.)  https://push.fm/fl/karelianwarcry-mielenrutto

Karelian Warcry was founded in Kouvola, Finland, in 2002. In its early stages, KW’s music leaned more distinctly towards Black Metal. Nowadays it’s influenced by other subgenres of metal as well as other types of music. The lyrics explore themes related to war, violence and the darker sides of humanity. Each member brings their own musical roots, personal ambitions, and thematic passions into the mix, resulting in unique and recognizable sound. Wistful and haunting melodies, crushing grooves, and relentlessly driving rhythms blend with violent storytelling and poetic expression, hallmarks of Karelian Warcry’s musical identity.

In 2014, the band went on hiatus following the passing of vocalist-guitarist Matti Mikkonen. Although the members have scattered from their hometown of Kouvola, they have continued creating music together—both remotely and in their rehearsal chamber. One could say Karelian Warcry never ceased to exist. And now, a bit over a decade later, they have finally completed the upcoming album, "Veripellot" — their most crushing and cohesive work to date.

Kuolemanlaakso announce the release date for their new EP on Svart‏

15/10/2013

Picture

Today, Svart Records announces November 29th as the international release date for Kuolemanlaakso's "Musta Aurinko Nousee" EP. This forthcoming EP includes three new Kuolemanlaakso songs, and a captivating cover version of Juice Leskinen’s classic by the same name.

The EP will be released as a limited digipak CD and a strictly limited 12” vinyl with three different colors (100 copies per color). The title track to Kuolemanlaakso's "Musta Aurinko Nousee", which features a guest guitar solo from V. Santura, can be heard here: https://soundcloud.com/svart-records/kuolemanlaakso-musta-aurinko

In 2012, the Finnish Doom / Death scene saw newcomer Kuolemanlaakso ascend directly to the ranks of its elite with the critically acclaimed Svart debut "Uljas uusi maailma", which reached #42 on the Official Finnish Album Chart and #6 on the Rumba Chart. In support of "Uljas uusi maailma", Kuolemanlaakso toured its native country, hitting some of Finland’s biggest and most respected clubs, then adding a performance at the 2013 Tuska Open Air Festival.

Feeding off of this momentum, Kuolemanlaakso planned new material on the road and entered a secret, secluded location in the forests of Finland, once again with acclaimed producer / engineer / guitarist V. Santura (Woodshed Studios, Dark Fortress, Celtic Frost, Triptykon). In the course of writing and recording, it was soon made obvious that Kuolemanlaakso had not only enough material for a full-length album, but for an EP, as well.

"Our goal was to create the tightest and most balanced entities for both releases. The EP introduces our current style in a more straightforward and shorter form, whereas the full-length evolved into something more epic," states guitarist / keyboardist and main songwriter Laakso. "The EP tracks are quite different from one other, with each song displaying a different side of the band and what we are capable of."

Boston Death Metallers Soul Remnants and Metal411.com have locked horns for the exclusive premiere of "No Afterlife," taken from the band's upcoming album, "Black and Blood". A mere sampling of the intensity that is "Black and Blood", "No Afterlife" is now playing at this location.
"Black and Blood" will be available via Horror Pain Gore Death Productions on October 31.

The Bean-Town Death Metal Vets absolutely nail it in striking that elusive balance between memorable songwriting and unrepentant viciousness. "Black and Blood" is nothing short of a masterful display of compositional dynamics inspired in equal measure by U.S Death Metal and Norwegian Black Metal. If it's a frighteningly intense aural experience that you seek, then look no further. "Black and Blood" is the sound of a band firing on all cylinders.

"Note to all the veteran death metal acts struggling to find the energy of their classic releases: this is how it's done." - Metal Crypt

"Composing varied tracks without stepping into hectic and dead hearted fret board gymnastics. Fans of technical Death Metal as well as open minded people shouldn't hesitate to give this band a try." - Brutalism
