Floridian deathcore mob Kill The Imposter unveil two music videos from “The Violence Sessions”8/4/2021 Kill The Imposter is an in-your-face, no-holds-barred deathcore onslaught hailing from Orlando, USA. They have a new album coming out in May of 2021 and it promises violence, rage, and a monstrous barrage of breakdowns, screams, riffs, and blast beats. “The Violence Sessions” is a seven-track album, and the third released from the band following “The Decimation” (2019), and “A Strain Of Agony” (2020). The upcoming offering is pure chaotic energy, something that current fans will recognize and new fans will revel in. Already, Kill The Imposter has released two music videos for the tracks “Mace” and “Suffer Alone”. “Mace” is likely the only political song the band will ever write, but the takeaway of it is, think for yourselves. People, who have no allegiance to you, are not the people you should be listening to. “Suffer Alone” was written for vocalist Johnny Nobody’s ex-wife as he explains himself: “I didn’t know a better way to describe the way I felt at my worst with her. I took the idea from the movie “300’ when Leonidas tells the traitor “I hope you live forever”.” He continues to share his thoughts on the full album, “we cannot wait for the fans to get their hands on it, the music is just getting tighter and more violent with each song. The more we work together the better these hits are turning out” Violent and tight, Kill The Imposter is the remedy for a hard day or the encouragement you need at the gym, they are recommended for fans of Hatebreed, Alpha Wolf, and Dealer.
“The Violence Sessions” comes out on May 28, 2021. Singles available on Spotify and Apple Music Kill The Imposter is an Orlando, USA-based deathcore band that was formed in late 2018. Pulling musical inspiration from everywhere, the intention of this four-piece band is to make you move in any capacity you see fit. Coming from local and national bands, Kill The Imposter brings experience, drive, and mayhem, to the stage. The quartet banded together over a shared love for heavy and violent music, after sharing the stage for one song they knew they had something special, so they sat down together and within a week had 3 songs written and a video lined up. They haven’t stopped since that first sit down, and they won’t stop. One of the founding members Danny Arrieta (guitar) is the primary music writer getting help with arrangement by Johnny Nobody (vocals). Nick Colvin (drums) carries the aggressive speed and heavy grooves with Wilson Bembry ( bass) definitely sharing and blending the thundering lows and technical playing between all of it. Since they got together, Kill The Imposter has released “The Decimation” (2019), “A Strain Of Agony” (2020) and “The Violence Sessions” (2021). They have pummeled the stages of Central Florida Metal Fest and Tampa DeathFest and played alongside heavy hitters such as Nile and Terrorizer.

Canadian Deathcore band Wych set February 26, 2021 as international release date for their debut EP "Agony".
Hard-hitting Deathcore as cold and unforgiving as the winters of their homeland, Alberta-based Wych delivers heavy grooves and rhythms that bind to the core of the listener, and then shatter it down with raging, brutal breakdowns. Paired with thought inspiring, abstract lyrics centred around the darkness and disparity of human nature in its many forms, Wych is a sound and experience new to this world. Loss Of Infection is a South Korean deathcore band formed in January 2019 when Heewook-Lee, Seolmin kim and Jongwook-Shin left the band Tornself, which was active in Daegu, and recruited bass player Jaehyeop Oh, former member of Noa. In the early days, the group pursued a rather slow tempo, a doom element and a core tendency. Loss Of Infection released their first single, Venom Prison (2019), but soon changed their style and released a second single, The Haunted (early 2020), which is faster and with a stronger tendency toward hardcore. In the first half of 2019, the band mainly performed with local metal bands but in the second half of 2019, they started supporting major band such as Slaughter To Prevail, Within Destruction, Signs Of The Swarm. Loss Of Infection are influenced by Chelsea Gran, White Chapel, Black Tongue, Falsifier, Thy Art Is Murder, Varials, Knocked Loose, etc, which features the development between death metal and hardcore but the group are also suitable for deathcore, doom and ambient audiences. They are currently recording the upcoming EP release Dark Dimension. I’m very grateful to be working alongside great friends and musicians, and feel like Thy Art is a band I was always meant to be a part of. I am incredibly proud of the performances we tracked on our newest album ‘Human Target’, and it sounds so good in part because of the great gear we selected. Thanks to Zildjian, Tama, Remo, Vic Firth, Czarcie Kopyto, and Foot Blaster Triggers for creating exceptional tools that help me deliver the best possible performance every time I sit behind the kit." Human organ harvesting had been brought to my attention as a serious matter that wasn’t receiving much coverage (or not enough for me to hear about it) and I thought the issue required more scrutiny and awareness. To distil the metaphors of proletariat subjugation down to the visceral injustice of taking away the engines of life, seemed to be a powerful atmosphere to open the record." The EP is recorded with Cabal-guitarist and renowned producer Chris Kreutzfeldt and is to be released on January 25th 2019. On this first release the band displays their trademark sound, combining groovy and heavy riffing with captivating synth melodies and some fearsome vocals (watch their lyric video above). Check it out here:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ed8thFuvKqA Vocalist Marc Buch tells us that:- “The title 'Filth' revolves around the emptiness that most of us feel within us. Mankind has always had a tendency to fill this emptiness - the void - with fear and animosity, which in turn, is blindly causing wars and the ruination of society. Instrumentally, the song draws inspiration from the black metal genre, as well as the deathcore genre, with a hint of classical inspiration in the chorus.“ Hanging the Nihilist formed back in 2016. Inspired by like-minded brutal bands such as Angelmaker, A Night In Texas and Make The Suffer, the young collective started working on a release of their own. With ‘Crow’ set to be released on January 25th, the band is aiming to break necks and grind some bones! HANGING THE NIHILIST |
