After signing to Drakkar Entertainment and announcing the release date of their new studio album Dark Matters (Part I), Bulgarians Odd Crew are now sharing the latest taste of the record. The band drops the new track "Farewell" alongside a black and white emotionally shattering video that will have viewers questioning just what to feel. “Farewell” is the third single taken of Dark Matters (Part I), which was recorded in Odd Crew’s own “ButcherHouse” Studio in Sofia and produced and mixed by the band themselves. Guitarist Vasil Parvanovski comments: “We wanted to make a massive and interesting album that includes both lighter catchy vocal parts and emotionally heavier instrumental parts as well. An album that tells many stories. “Farewell” is a song that can make you think about how fast time passes and that we don’t have enough time to enjoy everything around us. Тhe video shows how fast we go through life until we reach the very last station of it when it’s time to say “goodbye”. Last week the band launched an official fan-club called the S.P.R.F. Crew. It’s an exclusive section on their website www.oddcrew.net - in which a members-only content will be uploaded every week. Odd Crew's new album, Dark Matters (Part I), will be out on May 27, PRE-ORDER HERE! ODD CREW is:

Hailing from France, Mind Imperium are a groove metal band in which powerful groove riffs blend with dark and melancholic tunes. The band comments on the album - "Loss begets emptiness. An infinite void feeding on our hopes, leaving only broken dreams and a growing sadness in its wake. As emptiness spreads like a disease in our mind, it reminds us that our existence is futile, that time will consume all things in the end, leaving an everlasting nothingness. Nemesis portrays our unspeakable despair, but goes further. It is the unheard scream of our oceans stripped of all life by the hand of men, the bloodstained ashes of our forests whose life is burning away, the cub bereft of its mother’s warmth, the father without a son. It is the incarnation of a declining world. From this despair, we draw an endless strength and our desire for revenge. We are Nemesis." Mind Imperium is an ambient groove metal band from France, with Nogh (ex-Obnoxious, Death Of A Dryad) on lead vocals and guitars, Carol (ex-Necroblaspheme, Death Of A Dryad) on bass guitar and backing vocals, and Fabien (Paican) on drums and backing vocals. The band began in late 2013, with a concept to create a groove metal band in which powerful groove riffs would blend with dark and melancholic ambiences. The band released its first EP – Amongst The Ruins – the same year, under the name My Imperium. Well-received by the public and the press, this first attempt allows them to play live extensively. In 2016, after a few line-up changes and a small hiatus; while Nogh and Carol focus on other musical projects and the development of the associative label Dark Faery Records, the band resumed its live activities and started working on a full-length album. This project is inspired by artists from 19th century like Poe, Lovecraft or Chambers, but also from the works of Freud and Jung. Consequently, My Imperium becomes Mind Imperium, a name more fitting to the band’s unique universe. In 2018, they release their first LP "Way To Carcosa", recorded at Vamacara Studio. It explores the diversity of emotions bred by the human mind when confronted with loss, whether it be symbolical or real. It also reflects Mind Imperium sustained engagement in the environmental cause, relating the album theme to damages done by mankind to the living world. In partnership with Sea Shepherd, the band releases a music video for their song 'A War Without End', to condemn the Grindadráp. Right after their album’s release, Mind Imperium goes on tour in France and Belgium with their friends from Aeon Patronist, in support of both bands latest work. The band continues touring until COVID-19 hits, and spends the end of 2020 bringing "Nemesis" to life. Its recording takes place in Spring 2021 at Tidalwave Studio.
www.mindimperium.com Once Human is just coming back from their long awaited tour in US with Cradle Of Filth and the new video / single "Cold Arrival" is their gift to the fans joining them in those crazy times on that tour! With “Cold Arrival” Once Human release their third single from the upcoming new studio album "Scar Weaver", hitting the streets on February 11, 2022 on Ear Music. The song is written in memory of a friend of the band. Here is a quote from Max Karon: "In the beginning of the pandemic, we as a band lost someone very near and dear to us. Being around Jared was our mutual tether to healthy habits and personal empowerment. He was personable, fun, and a constant source of wisdom. To us, he felt like a permanent, immutable fixture in our lives. He left us suddenly and without warning. These last eighteen months have been a solemn reminder that the lives we lead and the people we know are not immortal. The acknowledgment of that harsh reality is 'Cold Arrival'." - The video for "Cold Arrival" was shot on the Lustmord and Tourgasm tour in October 2021 and was directed and edited by Thomas Crane of KillDevil Films. It features additional fan footage. Once Human’s "Scar Weaver" album, pieced together over the last two years, represents a massive step forward for the band. Blessed (or perhaps cursed) with plenty of additional time during the last year’s lockdown situation, the band has been able to refine and redefine their sound, inspired by a sudden creative surge from latest recruit Max Karon. The result is a gloriously idiosyncratic modern metal record, with Hart’s career-best vocal performance as just one of its dazzling revelations. With Once Human’s most intense and explosive music to work with, the singer has pushed herself to new heights, showcasing a vastly expanded vocal range in the process.
Pyscho Synner have accomplished what they talk about in the record books. The band has released 9 — yes, 9!— albums on, November 5th. The band used the quarantine and subsequent lockdowns that were a result of the COVID-19 pandemic in an incredibly productive way. They worked their asses off and made music. Lots of music. "We couldn't play shows because of the pandemic, so we locked ourselves up and wrote and recorded nonstop," says frontman Jeremy Spencer, aka Grym Synner. "Nine albums later, we have really found our groove, so to speak." The albums are as follows and you can get them here. Fans that purchase all nine albums at this location will also get the digital covers EP, Songs to Stalk You By, for free. The band has also shared the video for the title track from "Bite the Snake." Watch it here.
As the world emerges from lockdown, Psycho Synner will take their show on the road. They have a slew of tour dates on deck for 2022, so watch this space for more information. Following the first single “Deadlock,” “Only in Death” is yet another killer track from their heaviest album yet and underlines Once Human’s presence as the hottest up and coming band in the modern brutal metal world. Lauren Hart shares her thoughts on the single:- "This is my most personal song on the new album. It meant so much to me that I really needed to get my hands dirty with the visuals. Logan and I filmed everything to keep the song’s raw meaning. Musically, it’s very emotional and dire, and the outro is probably my favourite piece of music on the album!” Pieced together over the last two years, Once Human’s "Scar Weaver" represents a massive step forward for the band. ONCE HUMAN online: The wait is over – international metal stars Alien Weaponry have returned with a vengeance, announcing the release of their fervid upcoming seconde release, Tangaroa, out September 17, 2021 via Napalm Records! Since releasing their acclaimed debut Tū (2018), the New Zealanders’ kinetic presence and sound – combining elements of thrash and groove metal with lyrics in the native indigenous language, te reo Māori — has attracted throngs of fans and media supporters across the globe. As with their 2018 single “Kai Tangata” – which has amassed more than 10 million views on YouTube and claimed the number-one spot on SiriusXM Liquid Metal’s “Devil’s Dozen” for 13 consecutive weeks – much of Tangaroa is immersed in the historical stories and cultural heritage of the Māori people. In addition, Tangaroa details stories of personal struggle and growth, as well as crucial environmentalism topics. Witness a first sample of the band’s stirring new music with the album’s colossal title track, “Tangaroa”. Accompanied by a gripping music video, the track details the pressing theme of climate change and illegal fishing practices. Through raising this awareness, Alien Weaponry hope to support the important work and efforts of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society. Lead vocalist and guitarist Lewis de Jong says about the track: “We decided to write this song about how the ocean is being suffocated by humans and their waste. The ocean is an important part of my life, and it's important to protect it.” Drummer Henry de Jong adds: “‘Tangaroa’ is a heavy and angry message about how we are destroying the ocean with pollution and overfishing. The video ties in with this message, with us drowning in plastic conveying the struggle of ocean life.” Watch the brand new official music video for “Tangaroa” HERE Having achieved past and present tours and festivals with the likes of Slayer, Black Label Society and Gojira, and being hailed the “future of metal” by esteemed magazine Metal Hammer (UK) and voted by Revolver Magazine (US) fans as “one of the bands most likely to break out in 2021”, ALIEN WEAPONRY are poised to dominate with Tangaroa. The album coalesces Alien Weaponry’s growing maturation with an undisturbed songwriting process, resulting in their most inspired, honest and informed material yet. In addition to lyrics written in te reo Māori, many tracks feature traditional instruments, called taonga puoro, providing the tracks their own warrior-like attitude. Rhythmic, dynamic album opener “Titokowaru” begins with determined rowing chants and depicts the tale of a famous war chief that challenged the colonial government in New Zealand and led a rebel army, backed by quick riffage and driving drums. Following standout “Hatupatu”, inspired by the harrowing, legendary tale of a de Jong ancestor facing off with a witch, is carried by frenzied guitars, spirited chanting and tribal-like percussion. While Alien Weaponry sourced inspiration from their culture and environmental surroundings while writing most of Tangaroa, the band also looked inward – drawing vision for other portions of the album from within. The album dives into some of their most effecting personal experiences, with English-language songs like the pensive “Unforgiving” about facing self-loathing and insecurity, and the swirling, charging “Buried Underground” detailing the aftershocks of drug abuse. Accented by personal touches like its entrancing album art originally conceptualized from drawings by Lewis de Jong, Tangaroa is a massive next step for a band on the rise, encompassing all of the elements that make Alien Weaponry heavy metal’s most authentic rising stars. Henry de Jong says about Tangaroa: “The album is tied together with the message of ‘Tangaroa’ - the whole album is more a snapshot of the band’s brains during the writing process. We have also written songs that are about some of our first tūpuna (ancestors) who were here in Āotearoa (New Zealand). Hatupatu, who is very famous in Māori history, as well as Īhenga, who named a number of places in Āotearoa during his travels.” Lewis de Jong adds about the album’s artwork and thematic details: “The album is named after the track ‘Tangaroa’, and we went with this theme on the artwork. The album is drawn from some new experiences we've had as well as some ancient Māori tales. I think we have stepped things up from the last album.” Bassist Tūranga Morgan-Edmonds also adds: "This album's use of even more traditional Māori sounds and styles is a very exciting step forward for us." Pre-Order Tangaroa NOW Following up to their groundbreaking recent sold out performance with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra in Kirikiriroa Hamilton at the Claudelands Arena last month, Alien Weaponry will support headliners Gojira on their fall 2021 U.S. tour! We chose it not by chance, we consider this song iconic. 'Freedom' is the most valuable thing. This is what we have at the genetic level. Without freedom, any thing is worthless. But at the same time, freedom is everything. Freedom to choose, to be who you are, to live by your own rules. Many thanks to everyone who took part in the creation process!
