The award is the Norwegian equivalent of a Grammy, making this a massive landmark for the band and their incredibly adventurous, genre-entangling style of eclectic hardcore punk. As recently announced, the Norwegian mavericks are hitting the road again this Spring, with new tour dates constantly being updated. See all confirmed live listings HERE, and watch for more dates to be announced. While paying homage to their native region's 1990s black metal heritage, the cinematic synth/goth rock of the prior decade, and the raging early punk movement ahead of that, Okkultokrati still manages to create sincerely original and infectious music through every bar of Raspberry Dawn, resulting in a starkly raw and original sounding album. They went back home to deliver a heavy mix of hard rock, metal, hardcore and a twist of blues or as they say Hillbilly metal. Their debut single “Hillbilly For Life” was self released in 2015, produced by Kristoffer Folin at Purple Skull Media in Stockholm. Followed by a music video available on YouTube. Since then they have been touring around Sweden and played at some of the biggest Rock Festivals such at Sweden Rock Festival and Skogsröjet. They also toured the USA in 2015 travelling from east to west through of course the south. Now the fearsome Swedes unleash their new music video 'Blood Sweat & Shine' - watch here Fearless present a full energy live show hard to forget topped with self-designed instruments in the form of a pitchfork guitar, a shovel bass and a tractor like drum kit. Fearless musical influences are: Hellyeah, Black Label Society, Texas Hippie Coalition, Lamb of God, Pantera, Five Finger Death Punch, Rob Zombie, Kiss. Crack open that bottle of Jack Daniels and chew on some straw. https://www.facebook.com/Fearlessrocks/ Puerto Rico-based hardcore thrashers, Calamity, recently released their new single, “End Of The Road”, which was produced by Ramon Ortiz (Puya, Ankla). "With this single we wanted to show our followers the path we are taking before starting on our second album. We would say we went heavier this time, and the new ideas we are writing are taking pretty much the same direction; heavier, deeper and more powerful." - Vocalist/guitarist, Berny Santos. Watch the lyric video for “End Of The Road” below which is also available at BandCamp, iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. Calamity started in 2010 as a cover band named Silent Screams. In 2011 the Puerto Rican band had their debut show on the local scene, but already as a Thrash band under the name Hush. After the co-founder and at that time singer Gabriel Quiñones left the band in 2013 the group has taken into a heavier and deeper kind of Thrash Metal. Now as Calamity the founders Berny Santos in Vocals and Guitar, Gonzalo Ortiz with the Guitar, Fernan Rivera the Bass man and Eduardo Acevedo in the Drums, have released their first EP "Let em' Burn" in September 2014 and their first Full Album, "Imminent Disaste" on December 18, 2015. Imminent Disaster was supported by the band's first US tour alongside their local partners, Zafakon during winter 2015/2016. Calamity released their single End of the Road on October 17, 2016. Facebook | Twitter | Instagram Russian hardcore/metal band Vorvaň are proud to announce the premiere of "Sirens", a track from their forthcoming album Once Love Was Lost. Stream "Sirens" here: http://www.toiletovhell.com/stream-sirens-from-vorvans-once-love-was-lost-full-album-review/ Once Love Was Lost will be released on October 14th 2016 via WOOAAARGH/Darkened Days. Formed in 2009 by guitarist Eugene Cherevkov in Moscow Russia, the band went through several line-up changes before settling into its current incarnation. The band has built up a solid buzz in their native country and as a result have shared the stage with heavyweights such as Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror and Walls of Jericho. Musicians from Converge, From Ashes Rise, Punch, Afgrund, Plague Widow and Distaste took part in making Once Love Was Lost come true. The music Vorvaň prepared for their listeners has a completely different sound, mixes new genres and contains ten themes united under one idea. The atmosphere has become darker, lyrics have become more hair-raising and the group now uses a second guitar and additional instruments. The release of ‘OLWL’ opens the band’s new era. Once Love Was Lost will be available as a Gatefold 2LP with a 32 page booklet 'Hunger' is Ilenkus's third release and takes their music in a darker and more violent direction. The EP contains four short, chaotic and cathartic bursts of grinding post metal. The first single from the EP ‘Hunny Bunny’ was recently featured on MetalSucks, with them describing it as: ‘A nut-grabbing explosion of raw violence and grinding post-hardcore, this song brings to mind Axe to Fall-era Converge with just enough Botch-inspired math bits thrown in to keep you on your toes’. Second track 'Pretty Secret' was also just premiered by The Sludgelord. Recorded, engineered and mixed by Aidan Cunningham (Murdock) and mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (The Armed, Sunn 0))), Nails, Old Man Gloom). 'Hunger' is due for release digitally on 19/10/16. A limited edition 7" red vinyl will be released late Autumn/Winter in conjunction with WOOAAARGH, Smiths Food Group DIY, Tjueto Cvlt, Icore Produzioni, Vollmer Industries and Feast Records. Belgium's Blackened Hardcore mob Oathbreaker put up their new song "Immortals" for listening9/9/2016 Belgium's Oathbreaker are preparing for the release of their most groundbreaking album to date (Rheia, out September 30th on Deathwish Inc.). This record features the most honest, fragile and self-reflective lyrics that the band has written thus far in its 8+ year long career. Oathbreaker have premiered another new song off of the album - listen to “Immortals” now on Stereogum. Oathbreaker formed in 2008 and released their debut full-length Maelstrom in 2011, which was followed by the critically-acclaimed Eros Anteros full-length in 2013. On Rheia, which was engineered, mixed, and mastered by Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Loma Prieta), Oathbreaker have truly hit their stride and carve a new path for their blackened/post-metal sound. Rheia is a deeply personal album that showcases the artistic strength that vulnerability brings. See Oathbreaker on tour in North America from September 28th through October 30th with Skeletonwitch and Iron Reagan. More news coming soon.

The gripping, lamenting melodies of the guitars define the Poisonous Legacy sound, and speak volumes about Sarabante's world view. Eloquently miserable harmonies soar then swoop downwards, constantly seeking nervous and reverberating moments to amplify and meld into their modern crust motion, involving copious amounts of righteous d-beat and clarity amongst the crunch. Few have done it so well since the advent of Tragedy and His Hero Is Gone, and Sarabante is undoubtedly creating their own approach with impressive, aggressive songwriting and attacking momentum. Their meticulous attention to mournful atmospheres is maintained across the twenty-six minutes, filling Poisonous Legacy with rampaging passages and brooding breakdowns, and making the record a thrilling and powerful statement. Order Poisonous Legacy direct through Southern Lord HERE. Heavily influenced by oppression and trying to withstand the ongoing crisis in their home country, Sarabante's new anthems are forged in times of extreme austerity, which has without doubt blackened their focus. As a result, the music on Poisonous Legacy is darker, filthier, more sincere. and more destructive than before. Poisonous Legacy was mastered by Brad Boatright (Sleep, Nails, Obituary) and is out now on Southern Lord. http://www.facebook.com/sarabante http://sarabante.bandcamp.com http://www.southernlord.com http://southernlord.bandcamp.com http://www.facebook.com/SLadmin http://twitter.com/twatterlord Neurosis reveals initial info regarding Eleventh album; more European live dates revealed21/6/2016 As the key events of their thirty-year milestone unfold, Neurosis officially announces the name and release date of eleventh full length, "Fires Within Fires".
