The Italian Gothic Metalcore band Levania is glad to reveal the new video for “Reflections”, the second single taken from their last EP “Episode 0” released via Sliptrick Records. Watch "Reflections" now: https://youtu.be/QPukuk5f8J0 The video has been produced by the directors Simone Furia and Michelangelo Ingrosso. The singer Elena Taby, comments: “Today, we all live in a sick society, we are losing sincerity, human relationships and empathy. Humanity is regressing to "homo homini lupus", but we have the opportunity to reverse this process with culture and art. In every single action we do we have a chance, leaving the instinct that leads us to the fear of the unknown or, thanks to art in all its forms, trying not to regress to a primitive status. We tried to include all these concepts in our new work, representing them as much as possible with colours and vibrations.” For more info, CD and/or merchandise orders, mp3, tour dates, news about Levania visit their official online channels: www.levania.net www.facebook.com/LevaniaOfficial

Levania, the gothic metalcore group from Italy, have released an official video for the track Reflections, taken from their recent mini-EP Episode 0 released via Sliptrick Records on August 2nd 2019. Here’s what the band had to say about their latest track:- “We’re very proud to announce our latest video for the track Reflections. We started a journey with the EP Episode 0 (where the track is taken from) and Reflections represents the thousands of idiosyncrasies that affected our lifestyle. Today we live in a sick society. We are losing sincerity, human relations and empathy. Humanity is regressing to a “homo homini lupus” level but, we have got a chance to invert this process with …education! In every single action we make we have a possibility; allow the instinct that leads to the fear of the unknown or, thanks to education, trying not to regress in ourselves to beasts. https://youtu.be/QPukuk5f8J0 We tried to put everything into our newest video/work with as much colour and vibes as possible.” The EP opens up with Abyss, a song that addresses the issue of depression, analysing how one can become slaves to one’s demons. Abyss also addresses the issue of moral hazard, when one has to choose how to deal with discomfort. This is followed with Reflections which talks about the all-Italian problem of functional illiteracy. Man is a social animal but if he is not educated, he will remain an animal moved by primitive instincts. In this society appearance is more important than education, and this is leading to an involution of the species. Episode 0 closes with Reckoning, an instrumental outro, both alluring and seductive. The new album turn back to the times of the ancient Mediterranean civilization and tells us their stories by inserting instrumental parts in their sound with characteristic melodies that bring us back to the ancient splendour of these lost civilizations. The album sees the participation as special guest Fabio Bartoletti (Fleshgod Apocalypse) on “Heliopolis: Dawn of the New Age”. Pre-order here: https://smarturl.it/esa0na With 8 members divided between Italy and France, symphonic metallers Aevum are set to return with their third full-length "Multiverse", which is scheduled to be released on March 27th, 2020 through darkTunes Music Group. The new album is followed-up by an European tour with Orphaned Land in support of the album "Dischronia". On "Multiverse", epic tunes and electronic elements will encounter hard riffs, with charming voices of Lucille Nightshade and Hydra carrying the ears and hearts of their fans from the third to another dimension. The new album follows the footsteps of bands like NIGHTWISH, WITHIN TEMPTATION, EPICA and more. Love and affinity towards symphonic sounds, lifeblood, imaginativeness and much more has to be mentioned to handle such a task. And yet, the 8 musicians from France and Italy undeterringly follow that path, while they are firing a salvo of 13 powerful tracks consisting of guitar-riffs meeting skincrawling orchestral and electronic elements. Rockshots Records is proud to announce their signing of Australia's Victoria K for the release of her debut album "Essentia" coming April 2020. The full length was produced by Lee Bradshaw and features special guest Michalina Malisz (Eluveitie). The Melbourne singer/songwriter has made her mark on the rock and metal scene with the release of her debut single 'Monster' in 2016, featuring guitar work by Brett Garsed (John Farnham Band) along with her 2019 follow up track 'Lacuna' distributed in Australia and New Zealand by Warner Music Group (Australia) and is the lead single off the upcoming album. The single garnered a lot of media praise and created an opportunity for Victoria K to support Swiss folk metal giants Eluveitie for their May 2019 tour date in Melbourne, a performance that had the crowd chanting for an encore. Although the album was originally a solo project, it has now developed into the current band structure with each member bringing their own energy and experience to the collective. The band is looking forward to collaborating on future releases and is now heavily focused on the release of this debut full length in April 2020. Victoria K adds: "'Essentia' is Latin for Essence. Essence is the indispensable quality of something that determines its very nature or character. So I guess the album as a whole tries to tackle and define the very nature of humanity. In a way, I’m trying to unravel the complexity of human essence and emotion. It all hopefully leads to being struck by a moment of Sonder - therefore the realization that everyone, including strangers, has a life as complex as our own, despite our lack of awareness of it." Victoria K's talented songwriting and compositional influences include Evanescence, Within Temptation, Nightwish and Kamelot amongst other current bands in the European metal scene and her music have been likened to be a blend of these influences. Victoria K has racked up hundreds of thousands of views on YouTube with her own original creations and through featured videos alongside a number of talented musicians covering a plethora of songs. Victoria K's covers include Iron Maiden's "The Trooper", Nightwish's "Last Ride of the Day", Metallica's "Nothing Else Matters" and Kamelot's "Insomnia", the latter of which received attention from the band themselves on Twitter and led to a meeting of talents when the American power metal band found themselves in Melbourne during their 2018 'The Shadow Theory' Australian tour. Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil) from their recently released album, 'Necrophaze,' that is available now from Nuclear Blast Records. Watch the lyric video for 'Monster' here: https://youtu.be/FE_m7Ya9c6s Purchase 'Necrophaze' here: http://www.nuclearblast.com/w13-necrophaze Purchase 'Necrophaze' bundles here: https://theoraclemanagementmerch.com/collections/wednesday-13 “'Monster' is the 1st Wednesday 13 song recorded to feature guest vocals. I wanted something different than I had ever tried before and I wanted a female vocalist. Cristina was the perfect choice for this song. I gave her the lyrics and some minor details, and she came back with what you hear. She totally floored us with her amazing vocal range and adding a new element never heard on one of our songs before.” – Wednesday 13 “This collaboration was born from blackness. Wednesday and I are both fans of the darkest vision of art and music, and when I was asked to sing with him for the song 'Monster', I immediately visualized his concept and shared it with pleasure. What I love about this song is that some people in life are taking the worst out of us... but demonizing it all and pushing away the tension through notes is the best thing to do.” – Cristina Scabbia Wednesday 13’s 8th studio album, 'Necrophaze,' is available now from Nuclear Blast Records. Featuring special guest appearances from, Alice Cooper, Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour), Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom), Jeff Clayton (GG Allin’s Murder Junkies) and Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) among others, 'Necrophaze' shocks and surprises with a cauldron of monster riffs and haunting lyrics and have listeners yearning for more. Heavily influenced by real-life night terror occurrences of Wednesday himself, historical serial killers, and a slew of 80’s horror films, the ideas behind 'Necrophaze' are bizarrely familiar, frightening, and a hell of a lot of fun. Being a collector of both media and toys, Wednesday 13 was inspired by a craving for variety to create dual album artwork for this release (seen below). The covers showcase either end of the horror spectrum with a 'Creepshow' comic book vibe for the LP artwork, and the eeriness of something akin to John Carpenter’s 'The Fog' adorning the CD. https://officialwednesday13.com/ https://www.facebook.com/officialwednesday13 https://twitter.com/officialwed13 https://www.instagram.com/mrmotherfucker13/ https://www.youtube.com/WedinHollywood Italian Alternative / Nu Metal band, Overlaps, have announced the release of their second album 'In Your Room' on March 27th, 2020 via Time To Kill Records. 'In your Room' is arranged and produced by Franco Fraccastoro (except No Way, Queen of Peace and Wait for Me). Mixed and mastered in Finland by Jesse Vainio (Sunrise Avenue, Apocalyptica, The Rasmus). Album artwork by Diego Bozza. Pics by Daniele Visman. "In your Room" shows an evolution not only in terms of sound, but also in terms of writing compared to the previous album. Many songs are inspired by some incisive experiences that the band lived last year during the European tours in which it took part. “Wait for me” talks about opportunities, how to live one's passions fully, not to let them escape and to wake up every day in a different place with a different opportunity. “Who I am” was written in a personal way by Gloria, who on stage finds that unconditional love for music, moved by the exchange of energy with the audience, which goes beyond everything, every emotion, every feeling. “Queen of peace”, were written in London, has a more pop momentum. The English metropolis, which enjoys numerous corners of peace, becomes the subject of a metaphor to underline that the search for serenity can also find a place within us. The lyrics of the other pieces are at times poetic and metaphorical, with references to decadent poetry: Baudelaire's "Spleen" and the evanescent images of Tim Burton's cinematography are an example. There is no shortage of riffs and pressing refrains like in Your eyes, Mr Right and Wasted. “No way” and "I don't need", present stronger themes, such as the search for one's independence through the elimination of prejudices, fears, needs, and deleterious attachments. “In this Room”, the first revealed single of the album, contains the meaning of the desire to leave your room, from your comfort zone, from the "bubble" where it all began. The song is available as digital single on the major online stores, paired with an official lyric video on YouTube: YouTube ➤ https://youtu.be/V3qIm2_eDKU Spotify ➤ https://spoti.fi/2QZfkgW iTunes ➤ https://apple.co/2R4p5KV Pre-orders of the new EP 'Cant del Corlo' are now available at the Rockshots Records' official store: ➤ http://bit.ly/cantdelcorlo_preorder The record is a concept album inspired by the four seasons, a perennial cycle that escapes human control. The spinning wheel (‘Corlo’) becomes the eternal wheel that makes us mortal. Four epic songs with extra atmospheric intro and outro allow the listener to dive into the mood of the seasons, becoming inevitably part of the endless flow of time. Even if the acoustic mood has always been pervading Kanseil’s creations, they wanted to dare a step further by releasing a record without any electric instrument. The record was recorded, mixed and mastered by Luigi Stefanini at New Sin Studio, produced by Kanseil. The artwork was created by Manuel Scapinello and Giulia Zuliani. www.rockshots.eu www.facebook.com/Kanseil After one month of voting, nearly 6,000 votes cast and countless sharing across all social media platforms by us and nominees alike, the time has come to announce the winners of the GMA Awards 2019. But before that happens, there will be a change to how the nominees are cast. The system will work as thus: nominees elected in the month of January are voted for in February... February nominees voted in March, etc and finishes with nominees in October being voted for in November - the finalists will then be voted for across the month of December and into early January 2021; finishing 8th January 2021.
