Enmachined, a bone-crushing old school Thrash Metal band ascending from the depths of Dhaka, Bangladesh have just signed with Salute Records. A demo album entitled "Thrash Assault" is on the way to being unleashed from their arsenal on the 24th August and will comprise of 3 demo tracks completed by the band. Enmachined is one of the protagonist bands in the Thrash Metal resurgence movement in Bangladesh and conceives the raw spirit of Thrash Metal in their hearts. They have performed in innumerable shows all around the capital city Dhaka and in metal fests like Metal Morgue and Death Skull Ritual. The band is all set for their international debut gig in Kolkata, India in September 2013 and will be accompanied by their countrymen Nafarmaan, a Black / Death metal band in the show Ritual Ascension Fest II (Kolkata), organized by Putrid Ascendency. The band has also reported that they have firm plans on hitting the studio for their full length album right after the Kolkata tour. Denmark's Artillery is one Europe's earliest thrash metal exports, and their contribution to the bourgeoning genre is difficult to ignore. The Danish quartet successfully managed to fuse an abrasive brutality with technicality and strong melodies, with the noteworthy guitar leads of the Stützer-brothers serving as highlights.
Artillery was formed in the Copenhagen suburb of Taastrup, Denmark in 1982 by Michael and Morten Stützer. Since then, Artillery have gone thru numerous line-up changes and released six studio LPs. The first period of Artillery's existence gave the world the three classic albums "Fear of Tomorrow", "Terror Squad" and "By Inheritance", featuring some of the finest moments of thrash metal Europe has ever put out. After an eight-year hiatus Artillery returned in style in 1999, sounding as fresh and hungry as ever before without sounding like one of those nostalgia acts. The three albums "B.A.C.K.", "When Death Comes" and "My Blood" put Artillery not only back on the map, but also to the top of their genre. Artillery expressed their thoughts on their signing: "Artillery is very proud to have signed with legendary Metal Blade Records! Italy’s very own Tombstone Highway is the newest member of the Agonia Records roster and a fresh addition to the label’s expanding profile. The band emerges from the muddy shores of The Po River in Piacenza and draws strong inspiration from the rural and folklore parts of its homeland. Their upcoming debut album is a classic blend of feisty Stoner/Southern Rock and Doom Metal, with catchy guitar solos and old-school heavy metal parts that may remind of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Corrison Of Conformity, Pride and Glory, Down, Black Sabbath, or even ZZ Top riffage. Apart from Hard Rock instruments, the band uses also a banjo and Hammond organs.

Metal Blade Records have made another addition to their roster with the signing of Germany's Downfall of Gaia! The band eschews clichés and delivers a monolithic, yet melodic, wall of sound. Formed in 2008 in Hannover, Germany to date the band has released a demo cd, a split tape, a split LP, and a full length album. Their split with In The Hearts of Emperors can be found on bandcamp here.
Starting out as a crust band then developing further, the band has become much more difficult to compare to any other bands. Over the years, their songs became longer, slower, heavier; their influences range from doom to black metal, from down-tempo, to sludge, and hardcore. Agonia Records have recently announced the signing of Swedish Doom Metal outfit Kongh.
This relatively new band, formed back in 2004, has quickly risen amongst the ranks of Swedish acts worth watching, being nominated to the P3 Guld Award (Swedish equivalent of the Grammy Awards) for their debut album. After a successful and intense tour with critically acclaimed Yob in September and October of 2011, Kongh focused on writing their 3rd to date album: yet untitled and expected for early 2013. The band has issued the following statement regarding the new deal and upcoming release: "Three years have passed since our last album was released, and we're stoked to announce that the song writing for a whole new album is now finalized. We'll skip the in-depth details for now since it's nearly possible to give a sensible description of your own music, but there's definitely some new twists and dimensions there as well as the traditional Kongh riffage. Metal Blade Records is thrilled to announce the signing of German Progressive Death Metallers Over Your Threshold.
Arising from Munich, Germany Over Your Threshold began playing live in 2007. After numerous gigs with renowned Death Metal acts like Obscura, Deadborn and Hokum, the band made a name for itself in the local metal-scene. The first record, "Progress In Disbelief EP", was self-released in 2008. Over the years the band's concept of Death Metal gained ground and its actual sound is enriched with a great diversity of musical elements. Influenced by different Death Metal bands (reaching from the 80's up to now) Over Your Threshold's music combines progressive Death Metal with a bit of Thrash and some fusion components. In 2011, the band entered the Woodshed Studio in Landshut, Germany to record their first full-length album, entitled "Facticity". The sound of the album is not only more blasting but also more technical, interspersed with energetic Death Metal riffing as well as melodic acoustic guitars. It's enriched by brute-force blast beats, Thrash Metal, jazzy harmonics and the distinct tones of smooth, fretless bass. Furthermore, the band recruited guest musicians Steffen Kummerer (Obscura, Thulcandra) and Jonas Fischer (Hokum, Ex-Obscura) to jazz up their debut album. Metal Blade Records have signed Australian Heavy Doom outfit Raven Black Night.
Formed in 1999 in Adelaide, Raven Black Night started their campaign to bring their traditional metal sound to the global scene. After numerous gigs throughout Australia they recorded and released their debut album 'Choose The Dark' in 2005. 'Choose The Dark' turned heads all over Australia and Europe, resulting in an invite in 2007 to play at the 10th annual Headbangers Open Air in Germany. A new collaboration with Metal Blade Records and a new album in the process will firmly bring the quartet to the masses. Norwegian Grunge Rock / Metallers Angerman has penned a deal with Wormholedeath/Aural Music Group. 23rd April will see the band enter Realsound Studio in Parma, Italy with producer Wahoomi Corvi (Crysalys, The Way Of Purity, Haterial). Release date is yet tbc but is likely to be sometime in 2012.
The whole band together stated : "Angerman is extremely proud to announce the beginning of this adventure with Wormholedeath!
