Enmachined, a bone-crushing old school Thrash Metal band ascending from the depths of Dhaka, Bangladesh have just signed with Salute Records. A demo album entitled "Thrash Assault" is on the way to being unleashed from their arsenal on the 24th August and will comprise of 3 demo tracks completed by the band. Enmachined is one of the protagonist bands in the Thrash Metal resurgence movement in Bangladesh and conceives the raw spirit of Thrash Metal in their hearts. They have performed in innumerable shows all around the capital city Dhaka and in metal fests like Metal Morgue and Death Skull Ritual. The band is all set for their international debut gig in Kolkata, India in September 2013 and will be accompanied by their countrymen Nafarmaan, a Black / Death metal band in the show Ritual Ascension Fest II (Kolkata), organized by Putrid Ascendency. The band has also reported that they have firm plans on hitting the studio for their full length album right after the Kolkata tour. Denmark's Artillery is one Europe's earliest thrash metal exports, and their contribution to the bourgeoning genre is difficult to ignore. The Danish quartet successfully managed to fuse an abrasive brutality with technicality and strong melodies, with the noteworthy guitar leads of the Stützer-brothers serving as highlights.
Artillery was formed in the Copenhagen suburb of Taastrup, Denmark in 1982 by Michael and Morten Stützer. Since then, Artillery have gone thru numerous line-up changes and released six studio LPs. The first period of Artillery's existence gave the world the three classic albums "Fear of Tomorrow", "Terror Squad" and "By Inheritance", featuring some of the finest moments of thrash metal Europe has ever put out. After an eight-year hiatus Artillery returned in style in 1999, sounding as fresh and hungry as ever before without sounding like one of those nostalgia acts. The three albums "B.A.C.K.", "When Death Comes" and "My Blood" put Artillery not only back on the map, but also to the top of their genre. Artillery expressed their thoughts on their signing: "Artillery is very proud to have signed with legendary Metal Blade Records! Italy’s very own Tombstone Highway is the newest member of the Agonia Records roster and a fresh addition to the label’s expanding profile. The band emerges from the muddy shores of The Po River in Piacenza and draws strong inspiration from the rural and folklore parts of its homeland. Their upcoming debut album is a classic blend of feisty Stoner/Southern Rock and Doom Metal, with catchy guitar solos and old-school heavy metal parts that may remind of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Corrison Of Conformity, Pride and Glory, Down, Black Sabbath, or even ZZ Top riffage. Apart from Hard Rock instruments, the band uses also a banjo and Hammond organs.

Metal Blade Records have made another addition to their roster with the signing of Germany's Downfall of Gaia! The band eschews clichés and delivers a monolithic, yet melodic, wall of sound. Formed in 2008 in Hannover, Germany to date the band has released a demo cd, a split tape, a split LP, and a full length album. Starting out as a crust band then developing further, the band has become much more difficult to compare to any other bands. Over the years, their songs became longer, slower, heavier; their influences range from doom to black metal, from down-tempo, to sludge, and hardcore. The band comments on their deal with Metal Blade Records: "We feel quite honored to be a part of the Metal Blade family and to work with one of the most notable labels in the world!
