German Symphonic Metallers Beyond The Black release new single and lyric video for “Golden Pariahs”4/4/2020 Symphonic metal outfit Beyond The Black presents their new single, “Golden Pariahs”, off their upcoming album, Hørizøns, to be released via Napalm Records on June 19th, 2020. An echoing symbiosis of brutal drums and major electronic influences inflames the quintessence of “Golden Pariahs”: Their new epos explodes in an intoxicating fusion of Jennifer Haben’s striking, exceptional vocals, highly-clocked drums and another facet of the quintet’s multifarious spectra. Beyond The Black rises with sonorous, energetic severity and bittersweet elements. The vigorous soundscape is coupled with the song’s strong message and sets the characteristic sign to fight, even in dark times. Beyond The Black prove their versatile musical identity once again and that the modern blend of melodic rock and metal is flowing through their veins. “Golden Pariahs” is a high voltage stunner and a melodic hymn for all the erroneously underdogs to defeat their inner demons. Pull us under, hear the thunder! Watch the new lyric video for „Golden Pariahs“ HERE: Jennifer Haben on the new album:- “With 2019 having been the biggest year in our career as a band so far, we were thrilled and anxious to get back to the studio and start writing again – not just to make up to the fast and amazing development that has happened in the band since our last album, but to pin this development down also musically for everyone to hear and see. Hørizøns is unmistakably a Beyond The Black album, but with so many new facets and personality adding up to the classic Beyond The Black ID that make it a true band-album. For us this has definitely been a walk on the tightrope and we feel to have it accomplished to its fullest. Without beating around the bush, we can say that we're extremely proud and confident that Hørizøns is the best Beyond The Black album to date.“ The quintet unbolt their unequalled, differentiated spectra of symphonic and melodic rock spiced with sonorous melodious metal soundscapes in 13 manifold songs. The album kicks off with its heavy, yet atmospheric title track, spanning the range of tumescent soundscapes and Jennifer Haben’s crystal clear, striking vocals. Beautiful yet strong harmonies, emotional storytelling and powerful vocal lines weave throughout “Wounded Healer” (feat. Elize Rhyde off Amaranthe) and will light your way in gloomy times. Dark subliminal grooves coalesce with harmonizing guitar lines and form the prevailing nexus of “Human” and it’s unmistakably catchy chorus. Another facet rises with “You Are Not Alone”, which is dominated by electronic influences as well as symphonic sounding violins. Hørizøns’ atmospherically dark harshness creates the stylistic bow over the distinctive melodic rock meets pop sound in symbiosis with fragile yet strong fragments. The charismatic outfit persuades with a rousing, emotional clout and their strong, confident message off self-assertion. With "Encapsulate", their follow up to 2019's "Fade", the band has found a new and more focused sound that sets them apart from their peers in the younger heavy music scene. Reminiscent of Veil of Maya, Architects, and Volumes mixed with shades of classic hardcore, "Encapsulate" is a fresh look at the synthesis of djent and -core that succeeds as both a mosh anthem and a catchy a*s song. Guest vocalist Josh Stewart channels anguish and anger with his clean vocals, complimenting the heavier elements of the track tastefully rather than as a throwaway feature. Producer Jeff Dunne (Motionless In White, Emmure, Fit For A King) brings out the best from each member of the band, with a highly refined but nonetheless intimate production style that captures each individual performance beautifully while making the entire song sound cohesive and absolutely huge. “'Encapsulate’ is about a struggle with anxiety. It explains the thought process one might go through when they try their hardest to be the best they can be, but question if that is good enough. It questions whether or not we are just wasting our efforts...like it's all for nothing...if in the end we are always going to be exactly who we were meant to be" The video, produced and edited by the bands drummer Dalton Kennerly, channels the groups volatile live energy in a beautifully captured black & white performance. Cristina Scabbia of Lacuna Coil) from their recently released album, 'Necrophaze,' that is available now from Nuclear Blast Records. Watch the lyric video for 'Monster' here: https://youtu.be/FE_m7Ya9c6s Purchase 'Necrophaze' here: http://www.nuclearblast.com/w13-necrophaze Purchase 'Necrophaze' bundles here: https://theoraclemanagementmerch.com/collections/wednesday-13 “'Monster' is the 1st Wednesday 13 song recorded to feature guest vocals. I wanted something different than I had ever tried before and I wanted a female vocalist. Cristina was the perfect choice for this song. I gave her the lyrics and some minor details, and she came back with what you hear. She totally floored us with her amazing vocal range and adding a new element never heard on one of our songs before.” – Wednesday 13 “This collaboration was born from blackness. Wednesday and I are both fans of the darkest vision of art and music, and when I was asked to sing with him for the song 'Monster', I immediately visualized his concept and shared it with pleasure. What I love about this song is that some people in life are taking the worst out of us... but demonizing it all and pushing away the tension through notes is the best thing to do.” – Cristina Scabbia Wednesday 13’s 8th studio album, 'Necrophaze,' is available now from Nuclear Blast Records. Featuring special guest appearances from, Alice Cooper, Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour), Alexi Laiho (Children Of Bodom), Jeff Clayton (GG Allin’s Murder Junkies) and Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil) among others, 'Necrophaze' shocks and surprises with a cauldron of monster riffs and haunting lyrics and have listeners yearning for more. Heavily influenced by real-life night terror occurrences of Wednesday himself, historical serial killers, and a slew of 80’s horror films, the ideas behind 'Necrophaze' are bizarrely familiar, frightening, and a hell of a lot of fun. Being a collector of both media and toys, Wednesday 13 was inspired by a craving for variety to create dual album artwork for this release (seen below). The covers showcase either end of the horror spectrum with a 'Creepshow' comic book vibe for the LP artwork, and the eeriness of something akin to John Carpenter’s 'The Fog' adorning the CD. https://officialwednesday13.com/ https://www.facebook.com/officialwednesday13 https://twitter.com/officialwed13 https://www.instagram.com/mrmotherfucker13/ https://www.youtube.com/WedinHollywood Spanish Symphonic Metallers Diabulus In Musica unveil new single & lyric video "The Misfit's Swing"17/1/2020 Travel through time and dance to the rhythm of “The Misfit’s Swing” with the second powerful single from Diabulus In Musica’s upcoming album, Euphonic Entropy, out on February 14 via Napalm Records! An anthem for those abandoned and misunderstood, “The Misfit’s Swing” – was musically inspired by the swing-fever of the 1930s. It takes the listener into the mind of the titular outcast, who rejects the conformist norms and instead attempts to embrace their own uniqueness. Despite the struggles the misfits face every day, they still strive for freedom from compromises and judging glances, aiming at appreciation of these personal differences and realization of self-worth. This emotional break-through, depicted on both a textual and instrumental level, unfolds as well in the space of the accompanying lyric video. Just as in the case of the dance itself, the audiovisual melodic charm of “The Misfit’s Swing” dwells in the past, with sepia colour palettes and vintage interiors. Smoothly referring to the cover and sublime musical atmosphere of the upcoming release, the lyric video is, at the same time, a gift for and a homage to the fans. Not only does it include the footage of them dancing to “The Misfit’s Swing”, but, just as the song itself, it furthermore addresses the reassuring feeling of collectivity among individuals isolated from the outer world. With their second single, Diabulus In Musica convince the listeners that their life among other people may resemble a dance in many aspects – and that there is no better way to go through it confidently than to the sounds of “The Misfit’s Swing”. Singer Zuberoa Aznárez comments:- “Here comes “The Misfit's Swing", the song for you all, unique people! Who hasn't felt that they don’t fit in with the rest of society for at least once in their life? Most of us have surely been the object of critics at some point. Sadly, we live in a world where the lack of respect and the fear of other people’s opinions limit us as individuals (personally, artistically...), so... Dance for the time being, to live and let live! Special thanks to all the lovely and brave fans who took part in this lyric video!” Watch The New Lyric Video for “The Misfit’s Swing” HERE!
