Arch Enemy will play the biggest stage production of their career at next week’s Wacken Open Air on Saturday, August 6th around midnight, making this the pinnacle of a highly successful album campaign. It all started in March 2014 when the band announced the new singer Alissa White-Gluz and the video for the album title track 'War Eternal', which became the most successful video in the band’s career and reached close to 20 million YouTube views.
The album reached the highest US and German chart positions in the band’s career and Arch Enemy played over 200 shows in over 40 countries around the world. In late 2014 Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) joined Arch Enemy during the world tour with Kreator and in 2015 they played arenas as direct support of Nightwish.
Wacken Open Air won’t be the last 'War Eternal' show - see further show dates below, including a run of 4 UK headline shows next month - but it’s going to be something very special. Therefore, don’t miss their press conference at
Wacken on Friday August 5th at 5:00pm – 5:45pm CET in the press tent / VIP area.

Raw Power Management are pleased to announce Bullet For My Valentine as their latest signing to Spinefarm JV label Search and Destroy Records. Vocalist Matt Tuck comments,
"We're very proud and excited to announce our signing to Search and Destroy / Spinefarm Records. It feels great to be part of a family that truly believes in the band and is ready to take us to the next level. It's been an incredible journey so far - but with Jonas, Dante and the rest of the team behind us, it feels like we've just begun. Here's to the future."
The news follows an exciting expedition to Norway in which Matt Tuck broke the World Record for performing the first ever gig transcending land, sea and air as part of Jagermeister's 'Ice Cold Gig' series. The stunt involved playing whilst jumping out of a helicopter at 15,000 ft above Lyngsfjord in Norway. Watch the footage here.
Bullet For My Valentine have also announced they will be returning to North America in April and May to perform on a long headline trek with supports Asking Alexandria and Raw Power's Cane Hill, amongst numerous US festivals. In addition to this the band recently also announced Killswitch Engage and Cane Hill as supports for their UK shows in November and December. See full dates here.

Victory Records welcomes dynamic Welsh Metal/Hardcore outfit Continents, to its roster. Watch the full announcement video here.
“We've always tried to put our own passion for our music before external influence, the most important thing for us is that we enjoy the music we play, and if other people enjoy it too then that's awesome,” said Vocalist, Philip Cross. “We like to mix elements of our favorite styles and influences, and then put our own perspective on things to see where it takes us.”
Formed in 2010, Continents quickly established themselves within the UK music scene. They are five self-proclaimed “lads with a party attitude who love getting groups of people into a room who share their passion for music.” In concert, this UK bunch throws a blistering barrage of songs and energy at the crowd which is evident in their first music video from the band’s self-released single "Trials"; which received over 10,000 views on YouTube, in just the first few days. Thanks to “Trials”, in November the band was voted as a favorite YouTube UK Metal Act and was featured on the YouTube home page.
They will be killing it on stage Saturday, June 30, at Leeds University for Europe's biggest indoor metal/hardcore festival, Ghostfest 2012. They will be joining the likes of Emmure, The Black Dahlia Murder, Comeback Kid and many more.
