India's Eclipse has their release 'Clandestine Resurrection' distributed via Transcending Obscurity16/4/2016 Eclipse are India's best kept secret. Playing scintillating heavy metal with the classic sound intact, these guys are just about impressing anyone who chances upon their music. Each song is an anthem, an unforgettable and catchy piece that forces you to sing along to it. Hailing from a remote region in the north-eastern part of India, Eclipse have surpassed all expectations by conjuring up a professionally recorded full length album that raised the bar very high for such kind of heavy metal in the country. From the naive yet irrepressible kids in the sitar-laced Gypsy to the histrionics of the colourful and mighty Albatross from Mumbai, Eclipse are carving a place for themselves in the scene and hoping to spread their wings further around the world. Each song is dripping with heartfelt emotion and the band mix elements of power metal and classic rock to forge a sound that can be admired by any metal fan. Let them not be eclipsed any longer, for albums like these are very few and far between. It may be a while till the next album pops out on Transcending Obscurity Distribution. French modern metal stars Eths are revealing their complete forthcoming album 'Ankaa', which has been scheduled for release on April 22nd. 'Ankaa' is now exclusively streaming via the official media partners below.
Eths guitarist Staif Bihl comments: "Here we are, the entire album! I'm really glad to finally share it with everybody. Each song has its own universe and I have built Ankaa as a walk through these different atmospheres, like a passage from the oppressive darkness to soothing clarity. I tried to keep the essence of the band but, in the same time, to bring it in places where we've never been. I injected a big part of myself in this opus and I hope you'll like it as much as we do! We want to warmly thank all those who participated in this album, a part of each of us is in here! Faustine Berardo, Sarah Layssac, Jon Howard & Björn Strid for all the additional vocals, Dirk Verbeuren for the drumming, Guillaume Dupré for the percussions, Nelson Leeroy for the mixing, Mobo (Conkrete Studio) for the mastering & Nicolas Senegas for the artwork. This album is dedicated to our friend Isilion …" Artwork and tracklist of 'Ankaa' can be viewed below. Tracklisting 1. Nefas 2. Nihil Sine Causa 3. Amaterasu 4. Seditio 5. Nixi Dii 6. Vae Victis 7. Listen to the song here. "Define Love" is an unreleased track from the "Incarnate" sessions. The limited edition 7" is being released as a Record Store Day exclusive on Saturday, April 16, including in very limited numbers in the U.K. The 7" includes "Define Love" on Side A, while Side B is silkscreened with "Define Love" artwork created by KsE bassist Mike D. The 7" also includes a Killswitch Engage stencil. About the song, singer Jesse Leach said:- "'Define Love' was written as my critique on our attempts as humans to limit love or restrict love. Whether it be political or religious agendas, love seems to be used as a way to manipulate people to think or act a certain way. Love is deeper than simple emotion or desire. It is an unexplainable spirit that defies our attempts to harness and understand it. True love, in my mind, is far greater than our feeble comprehension of it. We need not try to set any limitations on what defines love." KsE released their seventh album "Incarnate" via Roadrunner Records on March 11. The band commemorated the album release with an intimate, fully sold-out, five-shows-in-six-nights New York City residency. Culled from their third album, "Passenger", the video was filmed for the track "Uncle Tuck" by the band at their own House Of Tuck residence where the LP was recorded as well. Issues Cvlt Nation with the "Uncle Tuck" video premiere, "I love the hypnotic, psychedelic riffs of stoner metal, and the dirty blues of sludge, but I like them even better when they're mixed in the rebellious, chaotic blender that is noise! West Virginia's Rhin have a new album in the works entitled Passenger that will make you want to get all fucked up on moonshine and burn some shit!" Feel free to shred to Rhin's "Uncle Tuck" at Cvlt Nation RIGHT HERE. Baltimore-based Grimoire Records is preparing the diverse and damaging "Passenger" for release on splatter vinyl, cassette, and digital formats on May 6th, with a CD pressing following. Preorders are available HERE. Directly preceding the release of "Passenger", Rhin will hook up with their brethren of dirge in Grizzlor for a three-day romp through the Northeast at the very end of April. The video shot and edited by David Royal. Check out the video below. NilExistence released their debut album "Existence in Revelation" on March 25. Purchase and / or stream the beast at: https://nilexistence.bandcamp.com/album/existence-in-revelation The album includes a 12-page booklet with artwork by Seth Siro Anton (Septicflesh), and was mixed/mastered at Hertz Studio (Behemoth, Decapitated, Vader) by the Wiesławski brothers in Poland. A lyric video for new song "Primordial Transgression" can be viewed at this location. Drummer / vocalist Kyle Kratzer (ex-Disfigured Dead) had this to say about the album title and lyrical content: "Existence In Revelation is based on the life experiences that have affected Dave Gruver (guitar / vocals) and myself during the writing period. The idea behind the title comes from how I personally felt when in the midst of a darker period. When one finds himself in a "revelation" type state, they have a few choices in which to handle the new information or realization they discovered; they may take the newly acquired knowledge and expand upon their problem / life, take nothing from the experience and brush it off, or stay stuck in the revelation itself (which is the route explored on the album.) As if in a bubble, one neither acts nor fails to act upon the new knowledge, but instead remains within the revelation (bubble). The lyrics are based upon what I saw and learned within this revelation." www.facebook.com/nilexistenceofficial Portuguese female-fronted Gothic metal band Inner Blast are streaming their debut full-length "Prophecy" in its entirety! The album, which is out via Nordavind Records, is available for streaming via Bandcamp, at this location: https://nordavindrecords.bandcamp.com/album/prophecy MetalSucks.net says the album is "already pretty awesome, destined to be awesomer", Ultraje Magazine feels that it is "Delicate and intense!" and Ravenheart Music simply says the album "Insanely good" Reveries End is a Female fronted melancholic metal band founded in the spring of 2011 in Tampere, Finland. Heavy music with hauntingly beautiful melodies reflecting the sadness and beauty of decaying human life, while the lyrics take the listener on a journey through melancholic and desolate landscapes surrounded by dark dreamlike visions rising from the depths of the subconscious. The album was recorded together with Markus Heinonen at Transcendental Studio and D-Studio. Heinonen, mixed by Tuomas Kokko at Electric Fox Studios and mastered by Jaakko Virtalahde (Virtalahde Mastering). The eight songs chosen for Edge of Dark Waters showcase the band's versatile but coherent sound. Influenced by wide range of styles and great bands like Katatonia and Ghost Brigade the music dives deeper into harmonic layers, dynamic structures and progressive elements, not forgetting catchy and straight-forward riffs while Sariina's (singer) varied and captivating vocal delivery wraps it all together. https://www.facebook.com/reveriesend Argentinian legends Vibrion, who've been around since the early '90s and have single handedly put their country on the map for metal, are back with a new full length album. And it's every bit worth the wait. With better songwriting and a never-say-die approach, they've come up with a set of 10 songs that are as relevant as they can get. Not just that, they're actually pushing the sound forward the way some of the old school legends forgot how to do. Bands like Morgoth, Death, Immolation, Morbid Angel, Sepultura, Malevolent Creation and Pestilence would be proud to have been instrumental in some way in forging the sound that Vibrion peddle in. Each song is pulsating with a unique riff pattern, and with vocals that are as vile as ever, it gives the music a new, exciting dimension, something that the newer bands lacking imagination and power fail to do. 'Bacterya' is one of the most potent albums to come from a band over two decades old that have outlasted all trends and perceptions. It's an album setting new standards and opening up possibilities for that old school sound to evolve, without diminishing any of the raw, unbridled appeal. Track list:
1. Day of Replication 2. The Wrath of the Beast 3. The Worm Immune 4. The Walls of Caffa 5. Ill Essentia 6. Of My Burning Brothers 7. Hidden Plague Disseminator 8. Bacterya 9. Circles are Closed 10. Mutant Full Album Stream on Xtreem Music Bandcamp Vibrion Official Facebook |
