Chilean Black / Death Metal Squad Occasvs have debuted a new track from forthcoming debut album Nocturnal Majestic Mysteria, courtesy of No Clean Singing. Stream "Under Human Eyes" at this location. The album will be released September 19 on Unspeakable Axe Records. Digital pre-order: https://unspeakableaxerecords.bandcamp.com/album/nocturnal-majestic-mysteria CD/Cassette pre-order: https://goo.gl/d1Psdq The Chilean underground scene has thrived for aeons with great bands playing every brand of extremity. Occasvs is both unique within that scene and a fitting encapsulation of it, combining black metal with death metal, heavy metal, and more. They lay in wait for years as their long-in-the-works debut album was fine-tuned to their exacting standards. Now Nocturnal Majestic Mysteria is to be unleashed on the world. A promo video for album track "Union" is available at this location. The song is an 8-minute odyssey through all of the band's startling blend of ideas and influences. Tremolo-picked riffs intertwine around blast beats, and the vocals are growled, shrieked, and even sung in eerie, stentorian harmonies. www.facebook.com/Occasvs http://unspeakableaxerecords.com unspeakableaxerecords.bandcamp.com/ www.facebook.com/unspeakableaxerecords https://twitter.com/UARMetal The premier Metal band from Texas right now is The Crowned. Formed by singer/drummer Marc Coronado in 2013, the band has taken the stage with popular acts such as Hell Yeah, Flaw, Sons of Texas, and many more. The band known for their gory music videos and live high energy performances has the metal scene taking notice. In 2016, The Crowned caught the attention of Pavement Entertainment and signed an artist partnership deal. Their first full-length album, "Apparition," is out now. On the new release, Coronado says, "'Apparition' is a living and breathing work of art. Each song is completely different from the last. A new venture for your ears from beginning to end. Truly a tough and brutal album for you to satisfy your metal needs." Check out The Crowned's latest music video, "The Dead," which is also the first single from the new album. Coronado states, "'The Dead' is a taste of what our album has to offer. Brutal fast riffs, breakdowns, melodic tones, whaling vocals, deep screams, and powerful chords to accent the disturbing visuals in the video." Alpha Omega Management is excited to announce the signing of the Turkish metallers Pitch Black Process (aka PBP)! The band's latest effort, "Derin", was released in December 2016 in Turkey on Atlantis Yapim/EMP Label Group and on EMP Underground/SPV in Europe. Comments the band: "Stoked to announce that we just joined Alpha Omega’s family which is one of the best and fast growing management and booking firms of recent times. We are very excited to see what the future hold for us on this new journey with Alpha Omega’s great team. Stay tuned for the news \m/" Alpha Omega Management adds: "We are truly thrilled welcoming these great hard working guys in Pitch Black Process to our roster family! They've conquered their audience wherever they've played so far. With their right attitude, musical ingredients and tenacity, PBP are ready for bigger stages. Stay tuned for next announcements!" Pitch Black Process, formerly known as Affliction, was initially formed in 1999. Their first two albums “One Reality” (out in May 2003) and “Execution is Necessary” (released in July 2007) got very good response nationwide and also from abroad. In November 2009 they hit the road for their first European tour playing over 20 gigs (being the longest tour which any Turkish band had ever made abroad until then), followed up by the 18-shows European tour with Varbringer, in February 2010. Before the tour with Warbringer, Pitch Black Process (back then still "Affliction") signed a sponsorship deal with one of the most well-known guitar companies in the world, PRS, which was another ‘debut’ for Turkey. None of any Turkish bands had signed a sponsorship agreement with such a big brand in music industry. Due to some misleading information in the cyber world and abroad, Affliction made a hard decision and they changed the name of the band after 12 years and they decided to move forward as Pitch Black Process. In January 2011 the band went to Sweden to record their 3rd album, with the well-known producer Daniel Bergstrand (In Flames, Meshuggah, Soilwork, etc) at Dugout Studios, but due some unexpected delays the album came out finally in June 2013. In September 2013, Pitch Black Process played on main stage at the 82nd Izmir International Fair, being the first ever metal band to play on the fair’s history. In 2015, Pitch Black Process became part of EVH and Fender. In November 2015 the band returned to Dugout Studios to record their 4th album. After 4 weeks of production “Derin” was completed as a result of amazing chemistry between the band and Bergstrand. The album, with 2 old and well-known Turkish song covers and 3 English-Turkish mixed songs, is a very special album for Pitch Black Process. "Derin" was released in December 2016, in Turkey on Atlantis Yapim/EMP Label Group and on Ellefson Music Productions/SPV in Europe. Daydream XI Live: 9/08/2017 Center Stage - Atlanta, GA @ ProgPower USA [info] Stand by for additional audio samples and additional news on Daydream XI in the days ahead. Formed in 2008 Daydream XI has played with bands like Angra, Symphony X, and former Iron Maiden vocalist, Paul Di'Anno. In 2014 the band was invited by legendary drummer Mike Portnoy to perform on the first edition of Progressive Nation At Sea with bands like Transatlantic, Devin Townsend, Pain Of Salvation, Animals As Leaders, Anathema, Jon Anderson, King's X, and many other leading names in progressive music. Mixing hard rock and progressive rock with heavy and power metal influences, Brazil's Daydream XI is a band with no self-imposed boundaries. Their debut album The Grand Disguise was produced by Jens Bogren, head of the world-class Fascination Street studio, in Orëbro, Sweden, released in September 2014, via Power Prog. The album has received many great reviews all over the globe, placing the band as one of the most promising names in progressive metal in South America. For the follow-up album, The Circus Of The Tattered And Torn, Daydream XI embraces the progressive side of their music in a dark concept album. The concept is a metaphor to express that we are drawn to each other more by our weaknesses and our flaws than our strengths and virtues. It's portrayed through a journey, where Phillip, the Circus master, takes his new apprentice, Circe, across the various acts of this Circus. Each song represents a feeling or aspect of human life, channelled by the storyline of each character. With eleven epic new songs, The Circus Of The Tattered And Torn was recorded at an array of studios across Brazil and the US with the band's Tiago Masseti handling final production. The record was mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Haken), and completed with artwork by Kikyz1313 and Mateus Conter. http://www.daydreamxi.com https://www.facebook.com/DaydreamXI http://instagram.com/daydream.xi http://twitter.com/daydreamxi http://www.lasersedgegroup.com http://www.facebook.com/TheLasersEdge http://www.twitter.com/thelasersedge Sydney's LO! literally made a splash last year with the ingenious video clip for "Orca," produced by bass player Adrian Shapiro himself. The clip showed vocalist Sam Dillon as a vicious creature emerging from a vat of shiny pink goo, in front of an otherwise completely black background. Pink in metal? The clip went viral over the love-it-or-hate-it discussion that followed... but even the haters had to admit that this clip, premiered via Noisey, Metal Hammer, and Decibel, showed a truly outstanding and innovative approach to visual arts in heavy music. LO!'s third full length album Vestigial - set for release via Pelagic Records October 6th -- is next level. The songs are well-crafted and have a larger scope, the sound is heavy yet organic, there's a mammoth harmonic density behind the stupefying heavy riffs, and the band sounds tighter than ever before. One of the reasons might be that drummer Adrian Griffin, who has spent the last seven years in Asia, returned to Australia. "This time we had much more time to all be together as a band and really work on the songs properly instead of the last-minute rush that usually happens. I think we all felt more connected now having Adrian back in the country," comments guitarist Carl Whitbread. "LO! have come to remind you of glorious times; times when Mastodon were using samples of Jurassic Park to kick off their records," wrote Metal Hammer UK on the band's debut album Look And Behold. And in fact, song titles like "Megafauna" or "Hall Of Extinct Mammals" show that LO! have always been interested in man's relationship with the natural world. Themes of extinction, circuses, and animal exploitation were explored on the band's 2015 EP The Tongueless, "so it was a nice lead in to where we are at now on Vestigial," notes vocalist Sam Dillon, "with a revisit of the outro from the EP as the intro on album number three." "A world where politics resemble black comedies, where guns have become an aspect of culture, and where addiction to technology is the norm is at the lyrical heart of Vestigial. "There are several repeated characters throughout the album," Dillon reveals. "The Judas Steer, the Locust Christ... these are anti-heroes, the wolves among sheep figuratively. The ghastly Donald Trumps, The Kim Jong-Uns, the extremists and ignorant tyrants of our modern lives..." After a European tour supporting Cult Of Luna in 2013, including a performance at Roadburn Festival, the band will be back in Europe this October to present Vestigial. Fit for fans of Mastodon, Cursed, Cult Of Luna, Converge, Breach, Black Breath, and the like. LO!'s Vestigial will see release on October 6th on CD, LP, and digital formats. This 14th full-length masterpiece sets the musical mind-twisters free from genre boundaries and offers an unprecedented mix of prog, extreme metal and shoegaze on 8 tracks with a playing time of more than an hour. Elegantly titled ‘E’, the album was once again written by the unholy alliance of guitarist Ivar Bjørnson (music, lyrics) and singer/bassist Grutle Kjellson (lyrics) and marks the introduction of their new keyboard master and clean vocalist Håkon Vinje. Mixed and mastered at the Fascination Street Studios by the renowned Jens Bogren, ‘E’ heralds a new era for Enslaved. Its cover artwork was once again hand-painted by the Norwegian artist Truls Espedal. The New Fury had this to say about today's premiere: "...hype is definitely building for what might just be the band’s most accomplished work to date. We’re also excited to be premiering a new track from the upcoming album, “Formula of Spores”. One of the most interesting and even experimental tracks on the new album, it also features some absolutely plastering drumming – honestly, it doesn’t even sound human at times."
