Newly-staffed Thrash Metal engine Nervosa releases their explosive third single, “Under Ruins”, cut from their upcoming full-length album, Perpetual Chaos, to be released this Friday on January 22nd, 2021 via Napalm Records. As a harbinger of their new record, Diva Satanica’s powerful and aggressive vocals draw the listener into the heavy vortex of Nervosa’s pure energy. Along with an official music video, the new track highlights the difficult topic of a homeless child left to survive on the streets. Nervosa’s upcoming longplayer Perpetual Chaos marks the beginning of a new era whilst also underlining their straight-forward lyricism and style: From political grievances and amplifying the voices of minorities to protesting against factory farming, capitalism and succumbing to the ill-informed musings of social elites - these commanding women do not mince words. Enter a thrashing world of destruction and be a part of the next generation of Nervosa! Guitarist Prika Amaral comments: “It was a wonderful experience with these girls, they are all very talented and did an excellent job, I have never been so happy with the final result of a record. I chose Artesonao studio in Malaga, because it is isolated and in an extremely beautiful place, we worked hard but we had the best vibe between us.” Watch the official music video for “Under Ruins” HERE Pre-Order the new album Perpetual Chaos NOW! Vocalist Diva Satanica on the album process: “It was undoubtedly a very intense process in every way. Not only did we learn to work together, but also to get to know each other and live together. I am very lucky to be able to be part of a project like this and I am sure that with the release of this album, Nervosa will take a very important step in its career. Working with Martin Furia was incredible, he helped me to find nuances in my voice that I didn't know I had. Get ready, for a new era more powerful than ever!” Guided by a marvelous force of uncompromising thrash and death metal, the raw power of Perpetual Chaos has its finger on the pulse of time: Lyrically, Nervosa does not hesitate to tackle issues that impact the very core of society as we know it. Tracks like the airtight opener “Venomous”, the fast-twitching “Until The Very End” and “Time To Fight” prove that Nervosa’s revitalized identity experiments with both fresh new elements and crucial auditory foundations without succumbing to any clichés. “Genocidal Command” perks ears with Diva Satanica’s vocal eloquence, accented by the outstanding range of Schmier (Destruction) whilst mirroring a rousing thrash metal manifest. A tremendous outcome awaits with brawl-brushed guitar lines, blisteringly fast drums and critical lyricism – striking the listener in a way only Nervosa could. Viva Perpetual Chaos! NERVOSA are:

After a long and vigorous audition process, Prika Amaral – creator, founding member and guitarist of the band – is thrilled to announce that vocalist Diva Satanica (Bloodhunter), bassist Mia Wallace (Abbath & Triumph Of Death), and drummer Eleni Nota (Mask of Prospero and Croque Madame) have all joined the force that is Nervosa! The choice to form a quartet instead of reinstating a trio was made to give Nervosa a fresh approach and show another thrilling facet, but will in no way take away from the thrash/death essence they are renowned for. Fans can expect riffs with a lot of down-picking and a strong grip, fast and technical drums, a renewed and heavier bass with super aggressive thrash metal vocals. Nervosa guarantees that, as soon as live events can happen again, they will comply with their schedule and travel the world to bring their unique sound everywhere! The band is also pleased to state that they have begun working on new music. Stay tuned for more info! Prika Amaral comments: "It was an incredible experience to meet so many talented women. It was not easy to choose just one and being forced to say “no” to several really good musicians. But the question is beyond musical competence. It involves availability, professional posture, good communication, etc... I am very happy with the result and very confident. I already have a lot of new songs saved and we have already started writing. We plan to launch some new material online during self-quarantine downtime, as well. I guarantee that Nervosa is coming with full strength." Despite being formed more then twenty years ago, the band faced a considerable hiatus, which translates into less than a decade of actual activity and not more than three full-length albums under the belt. Until Rebaelliun's dissolution (in 2002), the trio celebrated its most potent period, having released two studio albums, "Burn the Promised Land" (1999) and "Annihilation" (2001), via Hammerheart Records. They also played several tours - most of which took place in Europe - and shared the stage with Cannibal Corpse, Deicide, Vader and Behemoth. In 2015 the original line-up decided to reunite and release its third and last album, "The Hell's Decrees" (2016), followed by a European co-headlining tour with Pestilence, alongside shows at Party San Open Air and Brutal Assault Open Air. Unfortunately tragedy stroke shortly after, and took the life of guitarist Fabiano Penna in 2018. Amidst all the hardness, remaining members decided to keep the band alive. In 2020 Rebaelliun is ripe for a new album. The band is also gearing up to perform at Netherlands Deathfest and Into The Abyss Festival, with more exciting news to follow. Rebaelliun commented on the signing:- "Last year, we started talking about a new album. With two new songs we got in touch with our previous label [Hammerheart Records]. The response was good, but not sufficient to our needs. After sending promo material to other companies and reviewing several offers, we decided to team up with the Polish label Agonia Records. Since our first encounter, we felt a good understanding, that reflects the band's needs. We're currently composing new songs. The energy is great and we are expecting nothing less than the best album of our career". The Brazilian thrash metal masters mark the occasion with a stunning music video for their new single 'Means To An End'. Watch here: youtu.be/TMLed7lL5CU Guitarist Andreas Kisser comments:- "Sepulnation around the world the wait is over! 'Quadra' is out now!! It feels great to be here today with such a strong album in our hands, I cannot wait to see you all on the 'Quadra' World Tour. Thank you all the fans around the world that keeps this band alive and motivated. Let’s celebrate 'Quadra' together, play it loud! I know I will!” He adds on the new song/video:- “'Means To An End' is our third video/single taken form our new album 'Quadra'. Is the the second song on the album, it is a very powerful and complex theme that inspired director Otavio Juliano and Luciana Ferraz to make an amazing visual interpretation of the song. It shows the human greed with no limits, the arrogance and the ignorance of ourselves, we think we can do it all without knowledge, without respect. Judas and his treason, defying death in a chess game, saving money for who’s knows what and how much is enough? It was shot in the city of Jundiaí, in an old train station museum and in Sao Paulo as well, at an old bank safe, it was the biggest in Latin America from the 50’s till it got shut down in the late 80’s. We had a lot of fun working on it and I’m very happy with the final result, hope you like it! See you on the 'Quadra' World Tour.” Order your copy of Quadra here: nblast.de/Sepultura-Quadra Quadra is available on Limited Edition 2 CD Digipak, 2 LP Vinyl, 2 LP Vinyl Picture Disk, Earbook, and CD. Quadra is Sepultura's fifteenth studio album, which presents a thrilling and brutally honest concept around the Portuguese word quadra. Everyone grows up in a different quadra, shaped by rules and definitions. We are all determined by these concepts, our relationships, our careers. Our whole lives. Sepultura will be playing at Sunstroke Festival Ireland in summer 2020, alongside the likes of Deftones, Faith No More, Mastodon etc. 13/14th June 2020 IE Punchestown Racecourse - Sunstoke Festival You can also catch the band at Download Festival 2020:- downloadfestival.co.uk/tickets sepultura.com.br facebook.com/sepultura instagram.com/sepultura nuclearblast.de/sepultura After one month of voting, nearly 6,000 votes cast and countless sharing across all social media platforms by us and nominees alike, the time has come to announce the winners of the GMA Awards 2019. * Later withdrawn by request of nominee. On Friday 13th March 2020, Mighty Music will release a new studio album from one of the most influential bands in South America: Vulcano. This will be the second important Friday the 13th event for the Brazilian veterans lately, after having released their new single and video, off the track "Bride Of Satan", on Friday the 13th of December. But then again, what else can we expect from a band with the charisma, history and aura of Vulcano? "Eye In Hell", the new Vulcano album, will be their 11th in a career spawn of 38 years, and their first in four years. It will be released in CD, LP and digital formats and can be pre-ordered in the following links: https://targetshop.dk/product/volcano-eye-in-hell-lp https://targetshop.dk/product/volcano-eye-in-hell-cd In a time when new bands are born at every minute and meaningless albums are spit forth and back, the simple existence of an entity with the historical depth, aura and attitude of Vulcano is nothing short of amazing. The Brazilian Black / Thrash metal masters are now back to studio album titled “Eye In Hell”, to be released worldwide by Mighty Music on the first quarter of 2020. “Eye In Hell” was produced by Zhema Rodero and Ivan Pelliciotti in O Beco studios, in Curitiba, Brazil, between April and August 2019 and has artwork drawn by Roberto Toderico (Paganizer, Pestilence, Sodom, Tygers Of Pan Tang). Vulcano were one of Brazil's first heavy metal bands of note. Coming into existence some time before (and having no small influence upon) that country's most famous metal export, Sepultura, Vulcano's albums were far too inaccessible to surface above the heavy metal underground with any regularity; and yet, alongside fellow Brazilians Sarcofago, Mutilator, and others, their primal, astoundingly violent blend of black and thrash metal has attained a worldwide cult legend among some of the genre's most extreme practitioners - notably, Norway's feared black metal inner circle of the early '90s. Zhema states that:- “Vulcano has always been a DIY band in essence, since it’s very first album. But for the first time in our almost 39-year career, we signed a record deal with a label with name and focus on Metal. We’re very proud to be now in a roster with renamed artists - some of them created in the same era we did - like Tygers of Pan Tang and Artillery. This union gave us extra motivation and energy to keep going and I believe we still have a lot of albums and shows ahead”. Line-up: Zhema Rodero - guitar Luiz Carlos Louzada - vocals Carlos Diaz - bass Gerson Fajardo - guitar Bruno Conrado – drums http://www.vulcanometal.com/ https://www.facebook.com/VULCANOMETAL/ |
