In “Heartless World”, Unleash The Archers show the world what they are made of. The band manages to give the original glam metal track by Teaze an unexpected, modern power metal twist. Combining that with an astonishingly wide range of vocal melodies, Unleash The Archers surprise and bewitch the listener yet again. A clean guitar intro makes you feel almost melancholic, but when the second chorus hits, at the very least, you’ll be tapping your foot. “Heartless World” describes how everything can become too much from time to time, and that sometimes all you need is to unplug and recharge your energy. Watch the lyric video accompanying the single below and lose yourself in an FM headphone high! Watch The Lyric Video For “Heartless World” HERE: Unleash The Archers on “Heartless World”, fresh off the new EP Explorers: “The second single is a cover of a song by a Canadian hair metal band from the 80's called Teaze. They are not super well known, but that's why we gravitated towards them. The song “Heartless World” has a really interesting arrangement and can't seem to decide if it's a ballad or a rock opera. Unlike “Northwest Passage”, where we played around with it quite a bit, we left “Heartless World” almost completely as is, and only changed a few small things like solos and vocal melodies. We thought it would be a great companion piece to “Northwest Passage” and really round out the moody Explorers vibe.” Buy The New EP Explorers HERE! Unleash The Archers newest EP Explorers is out now! It’s available via the Napalm Records Store in the following formats and includes both singles “Northwest Passage” and “Heartless World”:

Edmonton, AB's Juliet Ruin recently released their first full-length album "Old Stardust, Love and Chaos" on September 6, 2019 to follow their 2017 debut self titled EP. The release promises to be more technical with heavy instrumentation, including some dabbling in low tuned 7 string guitars to create an original sound chock full of catchy hooks that convey a fresh and emotive feel to their heavy music. Lead vocalist Jess Ruin has added more screams, but also more clean techniques with her pop-esque power vocals. Fans of forward-thinking modern metal such as Evanescence, System of a Down, and Killswitch Engage should take special note of this powerful and emotive Canadian band. Teaming up with GhostCultMag.com, Juliet Ruin is excited to premiere their latest lyric video for the track 'Fight To Win' at the following link HERE. The band adds: "'Fight to Win' is probably one of the more unique tracks on the album. It begins softly and quickly changes pace, flowing into our most experimental vocals in the verses. FTW is a wordy and exciting track with an array of vocal styles. The verses of this one are special vocally because of creative on-the-spot thinking in the studio by Diego Fernandez. The last-minute change to make the verses more spoken the entire mood of the song different. FTW is an ode to owning up to a vengeful nature just to flaunt it proudly as a warning sign." Digital stream and download of Juliet Ruin's debut album "Old Stardust, Love, and Chaos" is available on Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, Amazon. Music Video 'Spite' here. Lyric Video 'Seasons' here. In additional news, Juliet Ruin will be supporting Ukraine's Jinjer in Calgary on October 29th and Edmonton on October 30th. The band adds: "We as a band are absolutely honoured to be opening up for Jinjer, we are all fans and their meteoric rise has been a pleasure to watch." Show Dates: Oct 29 - Calgary, AB - Dickens w/ Jinjer, The Browning, Sumo Cyco Oct 30 - Edmonton, AB - The Starlite Room w/ Jinjer, The Browning, Sumo Cyco For more info: JulietRuin.com Vancouver Groove Metallers League of Corruption are proud to announce that they've signed with Atlanta, Georgia indie metal label Black Doomba Records. However, since 2016 the group has seen a new and exciting level of activity. With their long-time friends Drewski and Paul Trounce rounding out the line-up, as well as support from Black Doomba Records and Rusty Axe Management, the band is now ready to take on the world with their pure Canadian carnage. Uriel began as a studio project in 2008. After some time, the band grew to a three piece and began playing live shows. The soundscape evolved in 2009, notably with Serenity in Departure. The evolution continued with the inclusion of powerful female vocals, featuring said vocals in 2012 with the release of From Ashes to Phoenix. Uriel’s sound and song writing process became more axed towards classical influences, which led to the inclusion of a dedicated cellist and violinist. The 2016 album, Remains of Innocence, featured all said elements, fusing the delicacy of classical music with the influence of melodic death metal. Uriel has a unique and established style, distinct from any other. The band continued its musical evolution in 2018. With the assistance of The Grid studios, the band recorded their latest record, Multiverse, due for release this fall . Set for worldwide release on their new label home of Svart Records on November 15th, the anticipated follow-up to 2015's Barn Burner debut boasts the band's most forward-thinking assortment of speed/thrash metal rippers to date and is sure to snap the necks of younger fans and disciples of the old-school alike. In advance of its release, the band is pleased to unleash their video for first album single "Forever Lost." Comments Warsenal guitarist/vocalist Mathieu Rondeau:- "'Forever Lost' was consensually our favourite song to play and what we felt would do a strong first impression of the new album. The song is from the perspective of a shadow that has had enough of following and being a prisoner of his owner, so it ends up killing its owner. Musically, the song progressively gets darker to fit the lyrics." View WARSENAL's "Forever Lost" video at THIS LOCATION. Warsenal released a three-song demo in 2012 and immediately started performing live that same year. The demo quickly grasped the attention of a Japanese festival organizer, who invited the band to perform on the True Thrash Fest in February 2013 alongside the likes of legends Exciter, Violator, and Sabbat. The band gained further notoriety upon their return home, where they played shows incessantly throughout Canada. Since the release of their 2015 debut album, Barn Burner, Warsenal have remained an active live act, having toured the US, Canada, and Mexico and appearing at various metal fests, including Full Terror Assault with Overkill, Venom Inc., Crowbar, Goatwhore, Toxic Holocaust, and more. Comments Warsenal guitarist/vocalist Mathieu Rondeau:- "We’re really excited to be signing with Finnish label Svart Records. They have a great international visibility and are very well respected among musicians and fans alike. This makes us very honoured to be taking over the world of metal under their flag. I think that with Feast Your Eyes, we’ve really grasped what is the 'Warsenal sound' and how we want to go from there. It's still raw and filled to the brim with crazy riffs flying everywhere, but the production quality and the song structures have really taken on major improvement; call it maturity, I guess. The songs are all very different and unique, while keeping the Warsenal energy and the madness people dug on the first album. A lot of surprises and jaw-dropping is to be expected. It's definitely not your typical, generic thrash or speed metal album." Further details on Feast Your Eyes, including track teasers and preorders, will be unveiled in the weeks to come. With each record Necronomicon has created in the span of their 31-year career, the band has steadily evolved in both sound and power; ‘Uunus’ is no exception to this. The latest single 'Singularis Dominus' is ready to be unleashed and can be heard HERE. Rob The Witch adds: "For thousands of years, mankind has been believing in a murderous and treacherous false God that has done nothing because they doe not exist. I'm flabergasted that in 2019 some people still believe in this insanity. It is time for humans to become their own masters and reclaim their souls for their own." The track follows the band's earlier released first single 'Paradise Lost' available to listen here. 'Unus' is a searing cacophony of blistering riffs, machine-like drums, and a symphonic ambiance, culminating in a sound that calls to various metal icons such as DIMMU BORGIR, SEPTICFLESH, BEHEMOTH, and DEICIDE. The record combines the furious elements of death metal with the orchestral prowess of black metal, creating the perfect synthesis of both genres. Standout tracks like 'Paradise Lost' and 'Singularis Dominus' only solidify NECRONOMICON’s ability to continuously produce high-quality metal that’s just as dark and brutal as it is elegant. 'Unus is due on October 18 via Season of Mist and can be pre-ordered here. Stated the band: "Double release day! In addition to our new album, Shards of Light, we are stocked to release our new music video, Empire of Loss! While hunting for the perfect venue where to film our next video, we found a gorgeous church in ruins in Detroit. The holes in the ceiling somehow made us think of how the human memory sometimes looses pieces too. Amidst the desolation, shards of light were entering the church. Amidst the destruction, there was still light to be found."
