Bahrain Metal band Ryth have set November 11th, 2022 as international release date for their debut full-length album Deceptor Creator! Album was recorded by the band themselves and mixed at Studio77-Bahrain, and mastered by Alan Douches. Ryth states: "Deceptor Creator tells a story of creation, sacrifice and overcoming self, becoming something higher by drive of love and hate, but everything created is fated for destruction... a greater darkness (or light) exists beyond us. We are very excited to release our first-ever album which means a lot to us. We hope for everyone to enjoy it and to reach a new crowd with it." Ryth is the 4-piece band formerly known as Rain In Hell formed in 2008 and have been very active in the Bahrain scene since then, concentrating on their live shows in local metal fests while playing originals that were never released. This is the first time they shifted efforts to releasing said originals. Playing blackened death metal with a technical and progressive edge, their innovative structure and style incorporates clean and aggressive vocals with more progressive elements. https://www.instagram.com/rythbh/ https://twitter.com/rythbh https://www.facebook.com/rythbh/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCVRu8Vw7bixn0Qj2aFC0wqQ https://open.spotify.com/artist/3DQBT21E2bXOA9NRg8eQRJ https://music.apple.com/us/artist/ryth/1556517335

North Dakota's resident death dealers Gorgatron will release the Agony Reborn EP November 4 on digital and cassette formats via Blood Blast Distribution. The cassette version is limited to 100 copies and also includes four exclusive live tracks on Side B. The first single from Agony Reborn, "The Unwilling," will be released on October 14 on all digital platforms, along with the official video for the track. The EP, which is the final release of the Blood Blast Distribution deal, consists of three original studio recordings and a cover of Sepultura's "Dead Embryonic Cells." Gorgatron is currently seeking a new label for release of the band's recently recorded full-length album. Interested parties should contact [email protected]. Gorgatron's sound is based on a “love of the riff” approach to writing and rooted in the old-school stylings of Death Metal and Thrash, one that comes across loud and clear on Agony Reborn. The EP is a product of what the band has dubbed the “Covid Sessions." As further explained by bassist Cameron Dewald: "We were on track to do a bunch of touring etc to support our last album Pathogenic Automation (2020) but clearly and for obvious reasons that didn’t happen… So instead we stayed as busy as we could in 2020 and 2021, played a few shows and hashed out some new tunes. The cover for 'Dead Embyronic Cells' was originally for Metal Injections Slay At Home series, but we ended up holding onto it and found a suitable home for it on this EP." Pre-order Agony Reborn:

Brutal death metal outfit Omophagia have released a blistering new single 'The Plague', taken from their album Rebirth In Black which is released today via Unique Leader Records. Meshing technical and brutal elements with meticulously crafted riffs into a violent cacophony of modern death metal, you can watch the video below.
Omophagia's name relates to the consumption of raw flesh, so it's no surprise that the death metal horde tear through skin and bone with razor sharp precision. Following on from their 2019 Unique Leader release 646965, Rebirth In Black is the latest soul crushing offering from the Swiss-Brazillian death metallers. The eleven track album was recorded, mixed and mastered by Kohlenkeller Studio (Aborted, Benighted, Cytotoxin) with accompanying album artwork created by Stefan Skjoedt. Forming in 2006, Omophagia hail from Switzerland and comprise of a world class group of Swiss and Brazilian musicians. Their first demo, Devouring Raw Flesh (2008) reaped the critical acclaim of the extreme metal underground and led to various live club shows, as well as festival spots nationwide and abroad opening for the likes of Morbid Angel, Kataklysm and Keep Of Kalessin. At the close of 2009, Omophagia recorded their Guilt By Nescience (2010) debut. Mixed and mastered at Hertz Studio in Poland, the record earned the approval of Metal Hammer Magazine who awarded the offering “Demo Of the Month” status hailing, “brutal blasting drums meets massive, buzzing riffs, framed by soulful leads, rounded off by classic deep-growled vocals. Rhythmical variability and a well-balanced sound make Guilt By Nescience a record for friends of brutal sounds on a technical high level.” Their sickeningly ferocious follow-up album In The Name of Chaos (2016) then saw the band go out on tour alongside Morgoth and Incantation. In 2019 Omophagia released 646965 to critical acclaim worldwide. Since then the international five-piece have staked a pretty brutal claim within the world of extreme metal, renowned for their breakneck speed, ruthless extremity and intensity, having toured with the likes of Nile, Hate Eternal and Vitriol. Following the release of their three previous Tangaroa music videos for "Tangaroa", "Buried Underground", and "Hatupatu", today, in anticipation of their winter and early 2023 performance plans supporting both Guns N' Roses and Gojira, Alien Weaponry have dropped an official video for none other than their album closer track "Down The Rabbit Hole". The track extends an important proclamation against bullying through the eyes and experiences of frontman Lewis de Jong. Lewis de Jong says about "Down The Rabbit Hole": "This was an absolute blast to film! 'Down The Rabbit Hole' represents the growth I've experienced throughout my life and putting to bed demons from the past. The video captures the meaning well - the broken objects representing said demons. It’s the rough times in life that make you who you are, as long as you rise above it." Israeli technical death metal sensations Prey For Nothing release 'The Sword Devours' lyric video23/8/2022 Israeli technical death metal heroes Prey For Nothing return with their most conceptual and creative album yet: "Kivshan", due for re-release on September 9th, 2022 via Wormholedeath. 'The Sword Devours' is taken from Kivshan - Furnace in Hebrew - and it is one of our most ambitious songs yet, both musically, lyrically, and thematically. We hope you'll enjoy it!" 'The Sword Devours' is a song depicting the history of the Hebrew and Jewish people, not in the warm light of tradition but in the echoes of war and death. We, the Jewish people, like to think of ourselves as 'People of the holy book', who abhor violence and promote peace since the days of Jacob and Josef - but this isn't the entire picture. Our true history is filled with warfare and bloodshed, from ancient times to modern ones. The biblical phrase, "Shall the Sword Devours Forever?" (Samuel 2, 2:26) is spoken by Abner before he was executed for treason against the house of King David. And it rings till this day. We cannot claim to strive for peace with implements of war. If we won't stop the endless cycle of violence - no one will. And this is the lesson we, one of the oldest people in the world, can easily say we take many pains to learn for all nations out there. War is never the answer. Violence is never the answer. War will not bring peace. Don't let those swords devour us all. Line up:

Danish orchestral black / death metallers Sinnrs have signed with Sliptrick Records. Where classical and extreme metal both collide, and merge in extreme harmony; Danish duo Sinnrs exude their own form of blackened metal, a sound that proves more brutal than their name, a sound cited in their own worlds, as “pure dark matter”. Nero and Maestus formed Sinnrs in July 2017, and immediately started conjuring songs for their debut album Profound, launched a year later on the 22nd of July 2018. The 10-track release contains a juxtaposition of punishing guitar riffs and relentless blast beats with symphonic arrangements and soaring vocals is fascinating in the way it highlights the inherent differences and similarities these genres have. During 2021, Nero and Maestus created the maxi-EP Detrahamus. With their new release, Sinnrs are taking their orchestral and symphonic elements to a new level, while still maintaining their signature dark and atmospheric sound. Detrahamus is set for release via Sliptrick Records in 2022. Sinnrs are:
Official Website | Facebook | Youtube | Instagram | On Sliptrick Mexican death metal band Cathartic is living proof of the influence that Swedish death metal has on the scene. Releasing their debut album this summer, ‘Through The Abysmal Gates Of Subconscious’, through Awakening Records, Carthatic are ready to show its brand of death metal to the world. “Death is our true and only purpose while we are guided by suffering, sadness, triumph, hate, dogmas, doubts, and fear of the unknown with a nihilistic and pessimistic view of points,” the band states. Influenced by a range of bands such as Bolt Thrower, Carcass, and Sadistic Intent, to Dismember, the early work of Amorphis, Carnage and Edge Of Sanity, the band's style can be defined as a true return to the roots of death metal- with hints of melody and doom. As shown in their first EP ‘Ceremonial Resurrection’ the band knows just when to be fast and catchy and when to include a slow, heavy intensity. 'Through The Abysmal Gates Of Subconscious’ was recorded by Jesús Bravo at Bravesound Studio, mastered by the legendary Tomas Skogsberg at the famous Sunlight Studios in Sweden and with cover artwork by Dan Seagrave- the album is set to be a must-listen for all death metal fans. |
