Indian Heavy Metal force Against Evil release the title track of their upcoming album "End Of The Line" as a lyric video. Shasank shares more details about the song: "This is the title song and also the heaviest song on the album! It's about a dystopian future where common people have no rights and are trapped under the control of evil governments and shadow organizations. We also got the idea for the cover artwork after writing this song, where the band also known as The Army of Four are being sentenced to death by the electric chair for rebellion against the evil government. Overall, it's a very aggressive heavy metal song with a good blend of thrash." Check out the video below The album End of the Line will be out May 14th via German-Swiss based record label Doc Gator Records in Europe and independently the rest of the world. The sound of Against Evil is best described as Heavy Metal with Power and Speed Metal influence. Against Evil is a heavy metal band from the city of Visakhapatnam (India), formed in 2014. Combining traditional heavy metal, power metal and speed metal with a modern sound, the band’s music can be described as adrenaline inducing, fist pumping, bone crushing, anthemic metal! The band released two albums – 'Fatal Assault' in 2015 and 'All Hail the King' in 2018 which were met with great critical acclaim. After the release of their album 'All Hail the King', the band started to gain a solid fan base worldwide, especially in Europe among fans of traditional heavy metal, power metal and thrash metal which led to the collaboration with German/Swiss based record label Doc Gator Records who later released the album in Europe. With the help of Doc Gator Records and Facebook metal group “Heavy Metal Fans”, the band set off on a crowdfunded European tour in the summer of 2019, performing club and festival shows in Germany, Austria, Belgium and Switzerland and sharing stages with legendary bands such as Queensryche, Riot V, Hardline and many others. Forged In Black have taken a break from working hard on the follow up to their successful Fighter Records album, "Descent Of The Serpent", to bring you a new video for a fan favourite from that album. 'One In The Chamber' was recorded during the imposed isolation of lockdown, but still fizzes with the exuberance, good humour and downright metalness that Forged In Black are renowned for. Speaking about the video band spokesman, bassist Kieron Rochester said: "'One in the Chamber' was the first song we wrote in support of our album, Descent of the Serpent. When we heard this song come together in the studio we knew we were on to something. It quickly became a huge part of our live set and it seems to be a bit of a fan favourite. Recorded over the lockdown period, we're delighted to bring you some home-bound harmonies, remote rocking and quarantine screams. Enjoy!' Finland's heavy doom metal band Byron present their new music video "Oktober", taken from their forthcoming new album "The Omega Evangelion". The debut release is scheduled for March 26th, 2021 (Goatmancer Records). Check it out here:- https://youtu.be/fs3wQ8WCINk The band shared their thoughts:- "Oktober" is the only track in the forthcoming album "The Omega Evangelion", that I did not write the lyrics to but handed the task over to Christoffer Frylmark. He did the lyrics and the arrangements with the Swedish vocals to the demos and I crafted the English chorus melodies to the text in a hurry in studio while Johanna was already doing her vocals on other songs. We rehearsed the chorus with Johanna about 5 minutes with a loop before the red light, while Tuomas (Kokko, the producer) was seeing his kids that were watching cartoons next room. Johanna exceeded herself in this song, singing the highest notes she had probably ever sung. Totally brilliant work from her, the whole album. (fun fact "The Omega Evangelion" being her first "metal" album done, but as an ex-vocal student of -one of them to mention-, Noora Louhimo, I expected nothing but the best from her). "Oktober" is the third and final single taken from the forthcoming full-length album. The song is metaphorical story about loss and spiritual, comforting death, written by Christoffer Frylmark and composed by Johannes Lahti. The music video of the song was shot in five hours at two different rehearsal spaces with no script, just me (Johannes) and Markus (Vähäaho, Raw Art Creations) throwing ideas to one another, me changing clothes and instruments and asking Johanna what to do. As Byron started as a one man project, I wanted to have a reference to it in the video, playing all the instruments and the roles of every band member, excluding the vocalists, that is. Christoffer shot his parts at his home in Sweden that were added to the final result with the video material from the studios last summer, showing the dedication of the producer Mr. Kokko (Electric Fox Studios) and bits and pieces of Mr. Puusaari and Mr. Vahvanen recording the guitar tracks of the album." The album will be out May 14th via Germany-Switzerland based record label Doc Gator Records in Europe and independently for the rest of the world. The sound of Against Evil is best described as heavy metal with power and speed metal influences. Shasank (Rhythm, Lead Guitar) explains about the song: “This is the first song we wrote for the new album. The song is about a gladiator’s fight for survival and freedom. Songwriting wise, we picked up where we left off with our previous release 'All Hail the King' while making slight changes to the overall sound. We think it sounds a lot heavier and in-your-face compared to our previous releases and we hope you like it as much as we do.” Against Evil is a heavy metal band from the city of Visakhapatnam (India), formed in 2014. Latvian Heavy / Thrash Metal band Iron Wings release their new single "Devil's Lullaby" (taken from the band's upcoming album), check it out below:
The band had this to say about the single and upcoming album: "The main theme of the song is one of Shakespeare's most famous quotes "hell is empty and all the devils are here". The song and the upcoming album form parallels with the already released album “Dzejnieks” ("The Poet"). The main idea of the song is to make us to think about what we have become in less than a year, when even the closest people and friends in the saturated sea of views lose their humanity and are ready to tear each other apart in the name of only acceptable ideas. This fear, ignorance, intolerance of diversity of opinion is also the poison that poisoned our world and ourselves. Are we, the society that incites hatred, not the ones who create this hell in which we live?" Iron Wings are a heavy / thrash metal band from Riga, Latvia, who formed in 2016. Since then they have been sharing the stage with a lot of local bands and have shared the stage with a lot of foreign acts. In the music making process the band mixes together heavy and thrash metal, creating their own unique sound. At the end of 2017 they released the EP “Tumšie miglāji” (“Dark Nebulae”). In 2020 they released their new album “Dzejnieks” (“The Poet”). https://www.facebook.com/ironwingsband/ https://www.instagram.com/ironwingsband/ Portuguese heavy metal combo King Baal signed a deal with Wormholedeath for the release of their debut album "Conjurements", due for digital release on 29 01 2021 worldwide.
