Indian war metallers Kapala premiere the new track "Kapalik Hellstrike" vial CVLTNation.com. The track hails from the band's utterly savage debut mini-album, Infest Cesspool, set for international release on November 27th via Dunkelheit Produktionen. Hear Kapala's "Kapalik Hellstrike" in its entirety exclusively HERE. Formed in the depths of Kolkata, India, Kapala have had one - and only one - objective since its formation: to play the most intense and bestial musick and annihilate the cesspool. Inspired by such legends such as Goatpenis, Revenge, Black Witchery, Blasphemy, Conqueror, and many other violent entities, Kapala seek to wage total sonic warfare with a strong obsession for the concept of "Survival of the Fittest." And indeed, they accomplish that in the swift 'n' decisive 20 minutes comprising their first public recording, Infest Cesspool. A true power-trio that's more like a three-man war machine, Kapala seek to crush, kill, and destroy all in their path with overwhelming violence and totally OTT intensity. Their arsenal of shredded decibels is bountiful, as each riff and drum hit becomes its own weapon, unleashing wave after wave after unmitigatedly annihilating wave. Stripped to only the barest essentials and with a rawness pushed well past the red, Infest Cesspool quickly becomes its own blown-out, charred-beyond-redemption landscape, unforgiving and unrelenting and unforgettably so. There will be nothing left but scorched earth and eviscerated eardrums after this Infest Cesspool has been wiped clean - Kapala's martial dominance will prevail! The next fist can be heard exclusively HERE, courtesy of CVLTNation.com. The first iron fist can be heard with the previously-revealed "Homosapiennihilation" at Dunkelheit's Bandcamp HERE and also at the label's official YouTube page HERE.

After having launched a successful crowdfunding campaign (so far) HERE, Demonstealer have announced another international drummer to contribute towards their much-awaited new release. Having already employed the services of Kevin Paradis, Demonstealer are proud to announce David Diepold from Austria, who has played live previously with Benighted. Demonstealer is the solo project of Sahil Makhija who is the founding member of one of India's biggest bands, Demonic Resurrection. He dons multiple roles and the music too is completely in his own vision with ample experimentation and collaborations. The previous Demonstealer album received much praise and saw the release of several official videos in its support. The new album is said to be more death metal and with a number of exemplary musicians slated to be a part of it, it's highly anticipated around the world. Two more drummers are yet to be announced along with other details. Watch this space. In the official announcement, Demonstealer aka Sahil Makhija said - "I'm super stoked to announced that David Diepold is going to be playing a song on my upcoming EP titled 'The Last Reptilian Warrior'. I've been floored by his YouTube videos and when I saw him play live in 2015 with Benighted at Brutal Assault I was floored. I had a chance to meet him at the festival and I've been wanting to collaborate with him for a while and I'm super excited that he's now part of this EP. If you don't know who he is just watch his videos HERE. That's not all, I had said that there were going to be 3 drummers on this EP, it might just be 4 drummers now. Stay tuned for details." Demonstealer have also recruited the services of renowned Indian artist Reuben Bhattacharya (Visual Amnesia), who did the breathtaking artwork of the latest Demonic Resurrection album which you can see above. Official DEMONSTEALER Site Official DEMONSTEALER Bandcamp DEMONSTEALER Facebook Experimental Indian death metal band Fragarak have put out a stunning album that's unparalleled at least this part of the world. Rolling Stone India premiered the first song from their massive album 'A Spectral Oblivion' AT THIS LINK. Ambitious Indian band Fragarak from New Delhi have come up with an album of epic proportions. Featuring Louis Rando of Impiety on drums, they've fabricated elaborate songs that are both atmospheric and suspenseful. Their first album was groundbreaking in its vision, but with 'A Spectral Oblivion' they've truly proved their worth. This is a statement of sorts that bands from this part of the world too can come up with music that's original. Though steeped in classic death metal, they've done well to expand upon that style and add their own aura of mysticism and intrigue. Albums like these probably won't ever be replicated, but there's enough material here to last a while.

They're on the verge of putting out a new release, which is professed to be more death metal and fast, and already Kevin Paradis, who's played with bands like Benighted, Svart Crown, Agressor, etc. is on board for one of the songs. The rest of the guest musicians will be announced at a later date and is fiercely guarded as of now. Like last time, even for the new album Demonstealer have announced a massive crowdfunding campaign through PledgeMusic AT THIS LINK. Demonstealer aka Sahil Makhija has said this about the campaign - "Now I know for most people it's hard to pre-order something without knowing what's coming up but I can assure you, if you go by the quality of music I've been delivering, you won't be disappointed. While I had George Kollias drum on the solo album, this EP is a little more ambitious and I'm trying to work with not 1 but 3-4 drummers. While I've confirmed 3 of them I can only announce 1 right now and that is Kevin Paradis from France who is an incredible drummer. You can check him out on youtube. I can say that the other 2 drummers will also blow your mind." Demonstealer is also the founding member of the well-known band and arguably India's biggest group, Demonic Resurrection. He's the only one who's successfully launching crowdfunding campaigns from India for each of his bands. More info on the new release will be revealed soon. ROLLING STONE INDIA PREMIERE TERRORIZER MAGAZINE PREMIERE NO CLEAN SINGING PREMIERE One of India's longest running bands, Demonic Resurrection, are back with their fifth full length album and it's a unique take on the avatars of Lord Vishnu according to Indian mythology. Each song is dedicated to a different avatar and the artwork and lyrics are indicative of the same. 'Dashavatar' follows the band's trademark epic black/death metal style that the band have cemented over the decades. The fans won't be disappointed and at the same time this is an ambitious leap forward. Tasteful solos accentuate the soaring riffs, all impeccably structured to bring to life stories from ancient Hindu mythology. Suitably atmospheric and tempered to perfection, this album holds its own in an era of ever-increasing individuality. Demonic Resurrection Facebook Page Bhaira in their own words are "an up and coming band currently located in Tokyo, Japan". Their debut album entitled, "Baigan", [in their words] would definitely be a breath of fresh air in the metal world. Ajay was more than happy to disclose Bhaira's past and current state:- "Sanjay and I (Ajay) have been playing together for the last seven years under the name DarkEcho with many line up changes. However, in December 2015, both of us met the lead guitarist, Rustam through a contact who auditioned for the position of the bassist in our band. In the same month, the three of us found the bassist in Malcolm. Right after the four of us met, we decided to take a more solid image under the name, Bhaira. We have been playing in Tokyo, Japan for over one year, and the crowd has been amazing. The metal scene is fairly strong, just trailing the United States and the United Kingdom. However, anything that is "kawaii" spreads like wildfire, overpowering the metal scene." Bhaira just recently released the title track from their debut album on the 28th of April. You can check it out below:- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyAAgLI-pXQ&feature=youtu.be The music video was produced by SET Japan. The video was directed by Keivan Salehpour and Alexis Wuillame. The crew excluding the directors consists of Tom Slemmons, and Andy Tyrrell. The question of how they came up with the music video idea is quite a simple one at the very core, but overarching that is a personal message as Ajay goes on to explain:- "The word "Baigan" means 'egg plant', but it is slang for something that is messed up or absolutely repulsive in Hyderabadi Hindi (a dialect of Hindi from Hyderabad, India, where Sanjay and I are from). The inspiration for this song / music video comes directly from situations that occurred in my life, that imprisoned me till Bhaira came to my rescue. The four phases that are shown in the video depict the major factors that led me astray, drove me away from playing my instrument, forced me to give up on my dreams and almost making "a slave of my own grave"." This sense of emotional disarray reflects in the band's music and despite not knowing what to call their music or indeed genre-tag it, Bhaira could probably fall into the Post-Metal category... ultimately whoever listens to them will decide what to call them. As for Ajay, he insinuates that Bhaira are not fussed about the whole genre-tagging thing... a question GMA posed to them. "This is something that we have never found the answer for ourselves. That being said, we do strive for the heavy sound and intense energy, conveying the emotions and telling stories effortlessly to the listeners. Our major inspirations have been Metallica (obviously), Slipknot, Stromae, System Of A Down, and Hans Zimmer. " And what about the band name after all, what does it mean and where did that come from? Ajay admits that:- "As far as the meaning of the word goes, we don't think it has any (if at all there is any, we do not intend to associate with it). When we decided to evolve towards a solid image, we wanted to have a name which is powerful, easy to chant, easy to pronounce, easy to remember, different and most importantly we wanted to personify the band by giving it a human-like name. It was me Ajay who chose the name, and it was immediately loved and accepted by the whole band. " https://www.facebook.com/BhairaMusic/ Arguably India's biggest band, DEMONIC RESURRECTION have released an ambitious official video directed by Guilherme Henriques Silva (Portugal) who has worked with bands like WORMED, HIDEOUS DIVINITY, BELPHEGOR, etc. In the band's own words, "The video shows the epic battle between Hiranyakashipu, the asura and Vishnu. Working with director Guilherme is always a pleasure and he did a great job bringing the vision to life." The video can be viewed HERE.
