With his captivating debut ‘Gothic Electronic Anthems’ in 2003, Gothminister Bjørn Alexander Brem took the dark music scene by storm, unleashing a thunder of pitch-black magic. Powerful metal riffs march relentlessly arm in arm with huge orchestras and heavenly choirs, while the master himself reveals an astonishing range of vocal art: from the deepest gothic-dungeons up to the higher spheres of steaming rock. It’s the overwhelming combination of catchiness and darkness; a thrilling craft of composing within the marrow of gothic, industrial-metal and electronica, that became Gothminister’s trademarks ever since.

On October 21, 2022 Gothminister will release their new album, entitled "Pandemonium", via AFM Records. Following previously-released singles, "This Is Your Darkness" and the haunting album title track, today the goth and industrial metal ministers have premiered a brand new video to awake your "Demons"!

"This brand new single «Demons» has a mixture of some well-known Gothminister-elements like heavy guitars, a driving rhythm, growling melodic vocals and even an strange opera-lady singing," band mastermind Bjørn Alexander Brem comments. "When I wrote this song, I pictured a weird, dark club, a dancefloor taking off, lots of freaks on it, and the main character in this setting drinking in the bar while being chased by his inner demons - evil creatures literally coming out of his head."

The trilogy comes to a temporary end with Gothminister ’s third music video "Demons", as Brem explains: "In «Pandemonium» we saw the fall of the evil king and his city, and that a new king was born. «This is your darkness» seen Gothminister scouting from his watchtower while the army of dead was searching for new souls to conquer.  In «Demons», we go back in time, and discover that also the evil king in «Pandemonium» had a past himself as a normal man where he is challenging the cruel magic of his predecessor.

However, you should be careful fighting someone else’s demons - it may awaken your own…"

With tracks like “Devil” (Gothic Electronic Anthems 2003), “Monsters” (Empire of Dark Salvation 2005), “Darkside” (Happiness In Darkness 2008), “Liar” (Anima Inferna 2011), “Utopia” (Utopia 2013), the last single from the CD / DVD horror movie concept album which even reached the national finals of the Norwegian Eurovision contest, “Ich will alles” and “We are the ones who rule the world” which both entered the Top 10 of the German Alternative charts and brought thousands of fans together on a tour across Germany together with ASP, Gothminister has gotten a significant following all over the world through the years. New album, "Pandemonium", will make no exception. Slated for a release on October 21, 2022 via AFM Records, you can pre-order your copy at THIS LOCATION!

October 21, 2022 see Norway's Gothminister release their new album, entitled "Pandemonium", through AFM Records. Following a previously-released, first single and music video for the album title track, today the goth and industrial metal ministers present a second track taken of their upcoming magnum opus!

"This Is Your Darkness" once again plays with the deepest primal fears of human beings - persecution, hopelessness and no chance to save oneself. This new album single takes up where "Pandemonium" left off. A drama in three acts. The Gothminister and his monsters are coming to get you!

"The aftermath of Pandemonium - or are we somewhere between place and time?" Band mastermind Bjørn Alexander Brem comments. "This Is Your Darkness is the 2nd of in all 3 videos telling the Pandemonium tale where the army of the undead keeps marching on looking for new souls to conquer in the evil kingdom, while Gothminister himself this time scouts from the watchtower and preaches from the book of evil. Chris Dead has teamed up with his drums from hell - but be aware, there is still a third story to tell!"

Rue Vox teams with Heidi Shepherd (Butcher Babies) in brutal new single, "Bitch Don't Come For Me"

30/8/2022

Las Vegas, NV based, dark rock / pop / industrial artist Rue Vox has teamed up with Butcher Babies frontwoman Heidi Shephard on her vicious new single, "Bitch Don't Come For Me"! With the music video produced and directed by Shane O'Neal, and cinematography by Deed Debruno, "Bitch Don't Come For Me" was produced by Brian Steele Medina (Gemini Syndrome) and features Henry Flury (Butcher Babies) on guitar.

"It’s an empowering track and anti-shaming (fat shaming, slut shaming, etc..) and actually turns into a dis-track in the bridge where Heidi ALMOST name drops a certain well known artist that she has had this kind of experience with in the past. I wanted the video to be along the lines of the movie 'Death Becomes Her' where we’re some hot girls getting ready for a night out but all of a sudden our bodies start falling apart and we’re just “hot ghouls” by the end of it. The video features myself, Heidi Shepherd (Butcher Babies) and Shannon Gunz (DJ from Octane on Sirius xm)."

Post-industrial band Zeistencroix releases its new EP, Cruxi-Fiction, via Pavement Entertainment. Cruxi-Fiction follows the band’s debut album, Gen Z, which dropped back in 2019.  Zeistencroix recorded Cruxi-Fiction at Stygian Sound, a private studio located at the renowned Sound City Center, and at ES Audio Recording Studios in Burbank, California. With the support of producers Tim Palmer and Alex Crescioni, Zeistencroix unleashes a 5-track EP that cultivates a unique post-industrial sound with both heavy and ethereal cyberpunk vibes.

  • Stream Cruxi-Fiction on all digital platforms here: https://orcd.co/cruxi-fiction

Vocalist and songwriter Orlando “OD” Draven touches on the ideology of the EP, saying, “Cruxi-Fiction is an ode to nihilism. There’s no control, no love, and no future. We’re trapped in a hellish loop and robbed of our freedom and relationship aspirations. Everyone obeys in trends à la 1984.”

Zeistencroix has also released the lyric video “Ice Queen” in conjunction with Cruxi-Fiction. Icy and snowy visuals pair perfectly with the sombre song’s themes of heartbreak.

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Zeistencroix is Orlando “OD” Draven (vocals), Santiago “Santi” Rivillas (drums), and Eddie “AKO” Jackson Zambrano (guitars). The band’s powerful sound is a blend of metal, industrial, progressive, alternative, and goth. Zeistencroix has toured both across the US and internationally.

American electro black metallers Psyclon Nine drop 'See You All In Hell' music video; taken from new album 'Less Than Heaven'

21/8/2022

Picture

The music of Psyclon Nine is not for the faint-hearted. The brainchild of Nero Bellum, the dark, aggressive electronic assault of his group’s 2003 debut album ‘Divine Infekt’ immediately earned them popularity and notoriety worldwide. Its follow-up, ‘INRI’ (2005), displayed a marked evolution with a lyrical focus on religious themes. In the ensuing years, Bellum's music has taken him down an even darker path, his distinctive whispered-scream vocals guiding us through an idiosyncratic take on modern underground music that has implemented elements of black metal and post-punk influences that, although often featuring haunting melodies, has often had an undercurrent of unbridled menace.

The brand new Psyclon Nine album, ‘Less To Heaven’, is a complex and immersive work that sees Bellum at a creative peak, with concussive, machine-precise drums, hammering guitars, scathing vocals and evil electronics all interplaying seamlessly. It also sees him charting undefined musical territory that bridges elements of metalcore with doom electronics, trip-techno with black metal, and experimental cinematic soundscapes with alternative rock. While many acts have a constant faster-louder approach to industrial-black metal, Bellum is unafraid to use all manner of tempos to build atmosphere.

Now, the Norwegian industrial metal act has surprised them with an epic music video for a brand new single!

"Pandemonium" takes us back to the new gothic era around 1880 AC, where we find the city and kingdom of Gothminister under attack from its own inhabitants. The old, mighty and evil king, played by Gothminister himself, faces chaos and uproar among his own. The band mastermind reveals:

"A lot of the scenes in the music video were recorded in an old gothic church, «Jakobs Culture Church» (Kulturkirken Jakob) in the city centre of Oslo, Norway. The church was built in 1880 and in 1980 the bishop of Oslo wanted to tear it down. The church was saved and preeeved by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage, and is now home for rock and metal concerts every weekend."

"«Pandemonium» is one of the heaviest but also one of the longest songs Gothminister has ever released. We are excited to see what the fans think about this new sound. In a time where TikTok and other social media channels promotes music snippets lasting only a few seconds, we wanted to do the opposite by introducing the new album with a more than 5 and a half minute long opening track…"

One can be sure, the new Gothminister single creates a hunger for more, and a new album slated to be released on October 21, 2022 through AFM Records.

Italian industrialist Neroargento unveils new single and video for 'The Way I Am'

26/6/2022

Picture

Award-winning Italian producer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and re-mixer, NeroArgento  announces he will be releasing his sixth studio album "Land Of Silence" via Rockshots Records on October 7th, 2022.

An explosive mixture of grunge rock, industrial metal, and electronic music, packed with orchestral influences and acid fuzzy sounds, "Land Of Silence" follows the success of 2020's “Circles”, which soared to #10 on the iTunes Top 200 Italy Rock Chart along with more than 1 million streams on Spotify.

"Land Of Silence" is the most coherent record to date from NeroArgento's discography. It's a solid industrial foundation composed of unmistakable low-tuned guitar riffs and very heavy drum grooves, topped with electronics and synths ranging from the most acid electro to retro wave pop-friendly melodies, without forgetting the usual and distinctive vocal layers.

With great attention to every aspect, "Land of Silence" is entirely performed, recorded, and mixed by NeroArgento. The record was mastered by Brandon Ashley at D-Tuned in Brighton (UK) and features prominent guests such as Vicio (Subsonica) and Claudio Ravinale (Infernalizer).

To anticipate the album's release, NeroArgento has chosen the track "The Way I Am" as the first single.

"The track is influenced by a more classic nu-metal sound in the vibe of the early Linkin Park, but in a current guise, in the wake of bands like Tetrarch or Motionless in White with detuned guitars, massive grooves, and super melodic choruses,"
 adds NeroArgento.

The video clip for "The Way I Am" was directed by NeroArgento, Fabio Brunello (CGI), and  Mattia Di Matera (live shots) and is a journey into the near future, composed of different power plays and opposing realities that contrast with each other in search of a balance that struggles to remain to stand, all surrounded by classic 80's cyberpunk settings and the inevitable neon lights.
NeroArgento is recommended for fans of Motionless In White, Falling In Reverse, and Bring Me The Horizon.

As a producer / arranger NeroArgento has appeared on more than 50 records released worldwide, is endorsed by ESP guitars, ML sound Labs, and Mad Cat Amps.

Italian industrialists The Silverblack drop their 5th album "Judgement"; title track fts. Burton C. Bell

11/6/2022

Picture

Brought to life by the devious minds of the multi-instrumentalist and producer Alessio NeroArgento and vocalist Claudio Ravinale (Infernalizer, Disarmonia Mundi), The Silverblack is an industrial metal creature that quickly developed its own malicious sound, spitting out extremely catchy tracks, mainly keyboard-driven and supported by a wide range of vocals (from goth deep voices to extremely irate death metal shouts) featuring both sharp and aggressive passages and more atmospheric and eerie moments.

The band's fifth studio album "Judgment" is now available as of June 10th via German label darkTunes and marks a substantial evolution in the band's sound, focusing more on aggression and heaviness when compared to their previous records, without forgetting the usual dose of catchy hooks and haunting melodies the band is already known for.

In support of the record, they are also sharing their latest music video for the album's title track, which features guest vocals from industrial metal pioneer and former Fear Factory vocalist Burton C. Bell.

  • Watch "Judgment" at https://youtu.be/7iTcPSyEBpw

Talking about the prestigious collaboration the band stated:

"Doing features is pretty common these days, but we wanted this to be quite special and meaningful. We consider this album the culmination of a process we started a bunch of years ago with the first record: in the beginning, we didn't know where we wanted to go, musically speaking, so we simply developed and evolved our style year after year, album after album. It's been a natural process: as soon as we finished this album we understood this is what we wanted to do since the beginning of the band and to put the proverbial icing on the cake we decided to recruit a singer that with his band started this kind of music in the first place. Burton's tone is unique: he is the voice of industrial metal and we wouldn't be here playing this kind of music if it wasn't for bands like Fear Factory who broke down boundaries within styles paving the way for what came next, so having him on our record is truly an honour and a one of a kind experience. His distinctive vocals brought the song to a whole new level and we can't wait for people to hear it".

The pounding title track opens the album with its bone-crushing rhythm and cinematic atmospheres featuring guest vocals by none other than iconic former Fear Factory singer Burton C. Bell delivers an incredibly strong and inspired performance gifting the song with an amazing chorus. The title track is quickly followed by another two ragers: “Punishment” and “A Lifetime Ago”. Both tracks hit the listener hard balancing aggressive parts with more melodic moments, written with the clear purpose in mind of being absolute live-crushers these two songs represent exactly where the band feels comfortable being at the moment.

“Chasing Ghosts” brings back some gothic elements to the band's sound, with Infernalizer (born Claudio Ravinale, also known for being the vocalist of melodic-death metal veterans Disarmonia Mundi, featuring Soilwork's singer Speed Strid among their ranks) switching from the harsh growly vocals showcased in the previous tracks to a deep crooning voice in the vibe of Type O Negative and Moonspell. The following “Sometimes They Come Back” features an uncompromising aggrotech assault partly mitigated by the catchy chorus by the multi-instrumentalist NeroArgento, who is also responsible for all the melodic vocals on the album besides recording and producing all the instruments and the album itself.

“Chrysalis” develops into a shape-shifting industrial metal interlude before the bleak assault of “Damaged” hits the listener straight in the face with its feral vocals, cyber synths, and crushing rhythm section. “Nocturne” is probably the lightest moment of the whole album featuring heavy retro-wave influences, theatrical gothic vocals, and a huge chorus while “Reality Check” hits hard again with its pounding assault.

“One Last Nail” delivers the last handful of industrial metal kicks in the face supported by a more rock 'n' roll influenced groove before the forlorn melancholy of the almost-ballad “Into Null” closes what can be considered the darkest and heaviest “The Silverblack” album to date.

Motionless In White drop new single "Slaughterhouse" ft. Bryan Garris

16/5/2022

Motionless In White have shared "Slaughterhouse," a brand new song featuring Knocked Loose's Bryan Garris.

"Slaughterhouse" is available today on all streaming platforms and featured on Motionless In White's widely-anticipated new album Scoring The End of the World, due out June 10. The forthcoming album is available to pre-save on all streaming platforms today, with exclusive merch bundles available for pre-order in the band's official store.

Building on the anticipation for Scoring The End of the World, "Slaughterhouse" follows the previously released singles "Masterpiece" and "Cyberhex," the official videos for which quickly trended Top 10 on YouTube and have since amassed over 6 million views. Furthermore, "Masterpiece" continues to grow at the Active Rock radio format, jumping into the Top 30 this week and continuing to grow in audience.

Scoring The End of the World fully encompasses the expanse of the band's dynamic, deep, and dark vision, and marks the band's first full-length body of work in three years since 2019's  Disguise. The latter has quietly made a major impact on rock music and culture. The single "Another Life" stands out as their most-streamed song ever with over 25 million YouTube views on the music video. The record claimed a spot on Loudwire's "50 Best Metal Albums of 2019," plus it ignited the creative renaissance that would set the stage for the statement-making Scoring The End of the World.

Motionless In White harnessed the power of an unholy union between industrial metal dissonance, spellbinding gothic pop bombast, and big screen-worthy iconography to emerge as 21 century rock's most iconoclastic and cinematic force. Climbing out of the shadows of the rustbelt in Scranton, PA, the group has tirelessly earned the undying allegiance of a devout worldwide audience one record at a time.

With over half-a-billion cumulative streams and views to date, they have notched three consecutive Top 5 debuts on the Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums Chart and Top Rock Albums Chart with Reincarnate [2014], Graveyard Shift [2017], and Disguise [2019]. The latter spawned the inescapable "Another Life," which tallied over 100 million streams and counting. Not to mention, Jonathan Davis of Korn, Maria Brink of In This Moment, and Dani Filth of Cradle of Filth have welcomed the opportunity to collaborate.

After countless sold-out gigs and festivals, they co-headlined the Trinity of Terror Tour, selling out venues coast-to-coast. However, everything set the stage for their 2022 opus, Scoring The End of the World. Right out of the gate, the single "Cyberhex" trended Top 10 on YouTube, while the follow-up "Masterpiece" lit up streaming platforms. With guests as diverse Bryan Garris of Knocked Loose, Caleb Shomo of Beartooth, and video game composer Mick Gordon, the album finds the group's vision magnified wider than ever before with no shortage of teeth, fire, and blood. It's the dawn of their biggest chapter yet.
