Critics are calling Marilyn Manson’s new album career-defining - the 10-song album Heaven Upside Down is out today via Loma Vista. It features recent single “WE KNOW WHERE YOU FUCKING LIVE,” which trolls the dark frenetic territory that made Manson a God-like figure to so many and called “aggressive and intense" by Rolling Stone as well as “KILL4ME,” praised as “catchy, creepy” by Revolver. On new single “SAY10” Manson proclaims “I’m a legend, I’m not a fable.” Rolling Stone profiles Manson in their current issue on everything from smoking human bones to his love of Bowie and Beethoven. Read the piece here - http://rol.st/2hR3Mym He also graces the cover of Clash Magazine. Manson's sensationalist music and art that rejects conservative values created an icon who has infiltrated fashion, television, film and music, and whose fingerprints coat modern culture. 20 years into his career, Manson is still a lightning rod of controversy and the pageantry and debauchery of his life are perfectly intact.

The French industrial-goth metal band Porn will release their third album on 20th October 2017. It is preceded by a single and remix EP of the album song ’Sunset Of Cruelty’. Named after the classic ‘Pornography’ album by The Cure and influenced by early 80’s electronic noise exponents such as SPK and Esplendor Geometrico as well as the 80’s/90’s dark rock lineage of Bauhaus, Fields Of The Nephilim and Type O Negative, Porn are led by Philippe Deschemin, who has published a sci-fi novel (‘Contoyen’) and several short stories since the release of his group's previous album in 2011. A milestone record for the band, the concept of ’The Ogre Inside’ is based on the ‘Contoyen’ novel. From the 90’s industrial rock sound of album opener 'Sunset Of Cruelty' right through to the brooding goth-metal atmosphere of the title track that ends the record, Porn take the listener on a journey into the darkest corners of the mind. Scattered with voice samples of Aleister Crowley, it can be taken as an invitation to fight the (great) beast, the Ogre that threatens to devour. Porn formed in 1999 when psychology and sociology student Philippe Deschemin decided to start a band. Strongly influenced by the original industrial scene (SPK, Esplendor Geometrico), post-punk and goth rock acts (The Cure, Killing Joke, Fields Of The Nephilim) and industrial rock/metal (KMFDM, Marilyn Manson), his mission was to create aggressive yet sexy, powerful, dark and dangerous music. As he describes it: “something like a beautiful, tasty fruit with a razor blade inside.” The band released its debut album in 2004 and an EP a year later, which are currently available together on the collection ‘A Decade In Glitter And Danger’. These were followed by a second album in 2011 entitled ‘From The Void To The Infinite’, plus the 2015 covers and remixes compilation ‘Deconstruct’, which followed the publication of Deschemin’s first novel, ‘Contoyen’. Deschemin is also a member of the group An Erotic End Of Times, who released their own debut album in the spring of 2017. Aside from his musical and literary career, he is a visiting lecturer in political philosophy, a journalist and publisher. Formed in 1997 and inspired by 90's American metal greats such as Pantera, Machine Head and Fear Factory, Dagoba quickly expanded their furious sound with dark, symphonic and industrial elements culminating on what is to become their strongest album to date, “Black Nova”. Shawter – singer, guitarist, composer and leader of Dagoba – helmed the recordings of “Black Nova”, which took place at Eagle Black, his own studio in Marseille, whereas Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Epica, Heaven Shall Burn) took care of mix and mastering. “Black Nova” sounds massive with rich dynamics, towering riffs, vigorous shouts and infectious melodic choruses all over the place. The equally powerful artwork was created by Seth Siro Anton (Septic Flesh). The band delivers a fierce yet beautiful array of female-fronted aggression that will give its predecessors a run for their money. In regards to the new album, vocalist Lindy Gabriel says, “The Ghost Parade is a concept record that brings you on a music roller coaster ride. From in your face songs, like ‘March of the Dolls,’ to stripped down emotional songs, like ‘Behind the Sun,’ this record still maintains a taste of the usual GATA anthems on politics and world issues, but, as a whole, it is more personal. I feel as a writer and lyricist it is more abstract and poetic. I feel more exposed and vulnerable. It's honest. It flows and twists through different waves and moods from beginning to end.” The Ghost Parade was recently released by Pavement Entertainment, and the band has just completed its new video and single “Thrill of the Kill.” Gabriel and the Apocalypse will embark on a full tour this June and July with Wednesday 13. The film, which will be released in many configurations, sets new standards. In March 2012, during the "Made in Germany" tour, Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund shot two acclaimed Rammstein concerts at the Palais Omnisports arena in Paris in front of 17,000 spectators. Featuring 22 songs from the band’s entire repertoire, the resulting film is not only the most spectacular collection of imagery about the most successful German rock band of our time, but also a masterpiece of music cinema, capturing Rammstein's energy as a unique visual and sonic experience. Åkerlund is notorious for his radical, pioneering video clips for bands such as The Prodigy, Metallica, the Rolling Stones and also Rammstein. Absurd details, upended perspectives, shocks of contrast and sensory confusion flicker through his music productions, and in "Rammstein: Paris", he celebrates this from the very first minute. Rammstein play 22 songs (128 mins), ranging from "Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?", the first song from the very first album, to "Frühling in Paris" from the last studio album "Liebe ist für alle da". Artistically and dramaturgically ingeniously staged, like an overwhelming video clip, "Rammstein: Paris" is one of the best rock concert films of all time. “Absolument“ A first impression of this masterpiece can be seen HERE. https://www.facebook.com/Rammstein/ http://twitter.com/RSprachrohr http://www.rammstein.de/ https://www.instagram.com/rammsteinofficial/ Nighon released a second single "The Dirge" from their upcoming album "The Somme" which is released May 5th 2017 by Inverse Records. "We have released a new video with a strong message. The song "The Dirge" raises the question: "Why do we have wars?”. They are horrible and the majority of mankind seems to despise it. The song was inspired by the annexation of Crimea, the Vietnam war and the Korean war. Björn: "The lyrics I wrote tells us about the consequences of letting our hate spin out of control, and when governments twist lies into truths to justify war!" Video is available here: https://youtu.be/yOCVbTngMyQ and the single is also released on all essential digital stores like Spotify, Deezer, iTunes, etc. Their first single/music video “The Greatest of Catastrophes” is a blend of the outbreak of World War I and the Ukraine crisis. The music video was filmed during the winter 2016 by Kasper Dalkarl, David Viklund and Stephanie Blomqvist. Listen to it on Spotify. Anima is a new Peruvian metal band from the city of Abancay.
