By combining metalcore with elements found in both ambient and classical genres, the Danish metalcore quartet Archon present an atmosphere which is brutal, mellow, ambient and graceful all at once. Gearing up for the release of their debut EP 'Altiora' on June 11, they now present a brand new music video for their latest single 'Playing the Victim', which features a guest performance by vocalist Mathias Rønde Uldall-Jessen of Royal Deceit.
Guitarist Kresten Maigaard Axelsen explains that:-
"Playing the Victim is the weight and guilt brought upon us by the past. It is about standing up for yourself and sticking it to those who just want to bring you down".
Archon consists of vocalist Sofus Nielsen, guitarist Kresten Maigaard Axelsen, guitarist Jonas Larsen, and drummer Jeppe Bo Kibsgaard. The coming debut has been produced, mixed and mastered by Chris Kreutzfeldt (Cabal, Møl, Ghost Iris) and features guest performances by Andreas Bjulver Paarup (Cabal) and Mathias Rønde Uldall-Jessen (Royal Deceit).
The new single 'Playing the Victim' is already available on all streaming services.
