Spanish melodic death metallers Rise To Fall have published a brand new video for the single "Acid Drops", which was taken off from the band's upcoming and fourth full-length, "Into Zero", which is set to be released on September 30th. You can watch the video at this location: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5hmXHu-VWds&feature=youtu.be You can pre-order "Into Zero" right here: www.risetofall.net/shop Irish death metal mavericks Malthusian premiere the new track "Across the Expanse of Nothing" at esteemed cultural journal BardoMethodology.com. The track hails from the band's highly anticipated debut album, Across Deaths, which is now set for international release on September 28th: Dark Descent will handle the album's North American release, while Invictus Productions will handle the rest of the world. Hear Malthusian's "Across the Expanse of Nothing" in its entirety exclusively HERE. Since their fateful first demo, MMXIII, in 2013, Malthusian have been a study in strident refinement and maverick poise. No move is ever out of place, nor any possibility unexplored; chaos may be waiting in the wings, but it is resisted and never fully/remotely sought. The hydra-headed quartet started on enviably firm footing from the very beginning - trace elements of bestial black metal, morbid death metal, and languorous doom, all mangled and minced with poetic ease - but what sprouted from that first demo and especially the subsequent Below the Hengiform EP two years later was something extraordinary indeed. This was black/death/doom ART taken to hallucinatory extremes...and Malthusian were only just beginning. True, Across Deaths will be a "beginning" for many listeners otherwise new to Malthusian, but for those already well versed in the band's vortextural musings, the album-length format opens their world even wider. Peer inside and the visions of bottomless doom are writ large; obscene forms writhe and resist, each psychological tendril twisting to ever-beckoning infinity. That Malthusian can harness these sensations should be no surprise - both short-length predecessors seemed massive at the time (and still are) - but the sheer fact (not to mention the sheer audacity) that a band can so effortlessly take angular, largely atonal DEATH METAL and make it a seemingly cinematic experience should compel naysayers to finally investigate this malodorous of artforms. Naturally, for however adventurous their visions continue to be, Malthusian above all believe in the alternately damning/redemptive powers of heavy metal: diversity of expression comes from within, not without. Further verbiage is simply wasted - the experience is all. No time like the present, then, to travel Across Deaths with Malthusian. Set for international release on September 10th via Inferna Profundus Records, hear the entirety of Goat Sperm's Voice in the Womb exclusively HERE. Hailing from Ukraine, Goat Sperm are a shadowy power-trio who play orthodox black/death metal exclusively. Theirs is a world-eating sound drawing equal influence from the realms of sepulchral death and morbid black, billowing obsidian smoke and weaving an almost ceremonial aspect, all whilst maintaining an intensely martial surge. Unremittingly physical and yet suffused with an atmosphere that's paradoxically wide-open and chokingly claustrophobic, Voice in the Womb is aptly titled: within its three-song/19-minute foundation lay myriad catacombs to get lost amongst, deeper mysteries at each turn to unravel. Witness the fullness of Goat Sperm's coming, and hereby obey the Voice in the Womb. Shower yourself in their glory with the EP's full length exclusively HERE, courtesy of NoCleanSinging.com.
www.facebook.com/goatsperm www.ipr666shop.com www.facebook.com/ipr666 Kill All The Gentlemen are a 4 piece metal band hailing from the shire of Devon in the South West of England. Their name derived from a fatal battle that happened in a hamlet know as Fenny Bridges in 1549 during the Prayer Book Rebellion. The band have made waves in the UK with there furious live shows witnessed at events such as Bloodstock and Mammothfest. The band have also embarked on an Eastern European tour with Napalm Death further showing their diversity winning over metal audiences abroad. Twin guitar attacks, neck breaking beat downs and lavishing in hooks and melodies make for a beautiful yet brutal act to see and hear. You can hear elements of Iron Maiden imagined in a kind of Cradle Of Filth “steroid induced” manner. All this coupled with the weight and groove of bands like Machine Head and Trivium creating a style of “juggernaut” songwriting. Tie this together with breakneck tempos and thunderous drums (coming from a Death and Grind background) and you have Kill All The Gentlemen. Kill All The Gentlemen is a metaphor for rising through the struggles of the industry. Not letting the powers that be stand in your way and going head first against the grain. The rapture is coming! The label has issued a trailer and pre-orders for the vinyl version of the record, as the band announces several fall dates. See the trailer for Alkymists debut album HERE. Alkymist is a new force in doom metal - a force which, in its own manner, seeks to bring the hope of change into a time of turmoil. The band was formed in 2016 by guitarist Stefan Krey (Gas Giant) and bass player Kaspar Luke (Düreforsög) with the intention of creating the heaviest possible music within a progressive and atmospheric universe. In 2017, the lineup was completed by singer Peter Bjørneg (Detest) and drummer Philip Kjær Morthorst (The Ritual) and, subsequently, the quartet recorded their debut EP, Element, which was released January 2018 to notable national buzz. Now, Alkymist is ready to issue their eponymous debut album, which consists of six grandiose metal compositions over forty-four minutes produced by Lasse Ballade (Solbrud, Orm, Slægt). The music on Alkymist's debut album can be defined as progressive doom metal being both crushingly heavy as well as melodic and dynamic conjuring up a simultaneously strange, beautiful and terrifying expression. A general theme on Alkymist is an existence which is parallel, wrong and expelled, and an existence from which the suffering subject seeks to be delivered. Alkymist will be released on October 5th via Indisciplinarian on LP and digital formats. The vinyl edition of the album, limited to 500 copies, can now be pre-ordered HERE. Alkymist has recently announced a free release show on October 3rd on Loppen, Christiania in Copenhagen, where the band will perform the entire album, and will be joined by special guest Leila Abdul-Rauf (Vastum, Hammers of Misfortune) as part of her Scandinavian tour. Alkymist will also play a November show with epic metallers and labelmates Rising, with more dates to follow soon. Clocking in at around 73 minutes, the album offers three melody oriented mournful funerary doom death tracks. "Rife with towering riffs and deep, earth-shaking bellows, Ennui taps into a well of existential madness and dread. It's a glacially-paced endeavor into the circle of life and it's inevitable end: death", notes Metal Injection on the full album stream feature. Hear "END OF THE CIRCLE" in its full at METAL INJECTION RIGHT HERE Album can also be streamed on SPOTIFY and all major DIGITAL PLATFORMS Formed in 2012 by David Unsaved in the city of Tbilisi, Georgian duo Ennui explores a variety of styles within the genres of funeral doom and death Metal, and delivers a refined blend of dark melodies, crushing riffs and technical percussion together with the dramatic and poetic storytelling. After years of intense work, headlining the Shadow Doom Festival in Russia, EnnuiI is proud to present their fourth album, “End of the Circle”, containing three epic songs, according different canons of genre, and sustaining mind blowing atmosphere of funeral doom/death metal madness. ENNUI is ready to unleash the album that will mark the zenith point in their discography. Indeed, it's the most dark, inventive and extreme music written by the band to date. This is the opus about the death and funeral of all being, existential madness, and final cycle in a whirl of life and death. Throughout the dismally lumbering pace prolonged songs, Ennui supremely showcases musical technicality in performance and composition without sacrificing melodic and dynamic proficiency. Soul In Sanctuary shows an absolute crystallization of the Rosslyn sound; heavy metal that rides between traditional and epic. The album features eight original tracks reaching some 45 minutes of sonic sounds. Throughout the album, the listener is faced with acoustic parts, followed by the most classic of distortions, instrumental bridges, melodic vocals, epic choirs and guitar solos. Two prevailing themes stand out in the lyrics. Medieval plots (stories of kings, conflict, knights and the clergy), and the literary (plots taken from authors such as Edward Gorey, or George R.R. Martin). Soul In Sanctuary shows Rosslyn at their very best. The classic sounds of traditional heavy metal have been revisited and built upon to create something brand new and unique in the bands cannon. Soul In Sanctuary | Released September 4th, 2018 on Sliptrick Records Band links: Facebook | Youtube | Instagram | Twitter | On Sliptrick For The Wicked, a Trapcore (self titled ‘’Fake Metal’’) band from Transylvania, Romania, has released a new video called Beez Neez Beez Neez is about the current state of their Balkan country where ‘’the church’’ has a major influence on people’s lives more or less subliminally dictating what they think and feel by a gospel of fear and greed. This unfortunate condition may be used by those that have luckily skipped the mindless brainwashing as the motivation to accomplish anything and stand for their own actions with confidence, while turning their backs on a prefabricated artificial ‘’god’’, a boogie-man meant to scare those that try to catch glimpses of what’s behind the still standing walls of post-communism. The video for Beez Neez is out now can be seen HERE About For the Wicked Gabriel Ichim- Bassist Vlad Bornuz-Guitarist Cristian Buhatel-Vocalist Bogdan Pastiu-Drummer Catalin Iliescu-Guitarist Founded in Cluj-Napoca, Transylvania, in 2015, For the Wicked was considered one of the most interesting and ambitious band appearances on the metal scene in Romania combining heavy riffs with aggressive vocals and catchy choruses in order to deliver a sort of modern metalcore/nu-metal hybrid. They have won several awards in their first year of existence (2015): Best Metal Newcomer at Metalhead Awards, The Grand Prize at Posada Rock and The Low4Bass Studio award at G.B.O.B. Romania. Although the band consisted of young musicians, hard work and perseverance are key and they have managed to prove their worth through the impeccable quality of their first EP titled ‘’Trust your Heart''. The mastering was done in the United States by Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, Emmure, The Devil Wears Prada etc.), while recording and mixing were done by one of the band‘s guitarists, Vlad Bornuz at Digital Dark Vision studio in Cluj-Napoca. In less than six months after launching their first EP, the band performed an important series of concerts in Romania and didn’t wait too long before launching and promoting their second EP ‘’II’’ with a series of over 30 concerts, starting on the 23rd of September 2016. In about two years of existence, the guys were quite active and busy and have successfully held over 80 concerts in Romania and abroad, many of which were completely insane regarding the synergy between the band and the audience. They have shared the stage with bands like Suicide Silence (USA), Emmure (USA), Comeback Kid (Can), Jinjer (Ukr), Lostbone (Pol) , When Reasons Collapse (Fr), To Kill Achilles (UK), Helia (RSM) and took part of the Romanian "Red Bull Tour Bus" tour. In the spring on 2017 For the Wicked held their first tour that exceeded the borders of their home country, ''The Fake Metal Tour 2017'', which saw them playing in 4 locations in the south of France and 3 locations in Romania with their new friends Ze Gran Zeft. In the fall of 2017 they embarked on their first Eastern and Southern European tour alongside Exist Immortal and played quite a few shows in Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Serbia and Hungary. The two bands turned out to be a great combo and it’s safe to say that those who attended the shows were in for a treat. Even though the band has always been in a constant search for its identity and its own style, the beginning of 2018 found the guys more confident than ever to change things up a bit and take the previous blend of rap and metal to a new level mixing trap with nu metal, hardcore and beatdown elements. They can finally call what they are doing as ‘’fake metal’’ because there is nothing ‘’true’’ about it, in the classic sense of the term ‘’true metal’’. https://www.facebook.com/weareforthewicked/ |
